A wicked ice princess sets out to freeze and capture Earth for her planetary collection. But Sailor Moon and her tight-knit group of gal pals will have nothing of the sort. Paced more for the love story fan, this episode focuses on a handsome young astronomer, Kakeru, who discovers a mysterious crystal needed by Princess Snow Kaguya to carry out her plan. Soon after finding the crystal, Kakeru develops a deep friendship with Luna (Sailor Moon's cat), a friendship that eventually leads to the Sailors' discovery of the Earth's predicament and to each character's discovery of the tremendous powers of love and justice--all in about an hour.
Despite its slower pace, this feature incorporates all the positive qualities other Sailor Moon episodes share: sharp, eye-catching artwork; humorous but heartfelt communication among the girls; an understandable plot line; and plenty of flashy transforming. Further enhancements include an intelligent soundtrack (a nice balance of kooky sci-fi and seriously beautiful tunes) and the introduction of the "Outer Senshi." This slightly older, more mature group of young women--Sailors Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto--join our regular band of bubble-spraying, crescent-beaming skirt tossers to melt the ice princess once and for all. The dubbed movie (tagged with the new title of Hearts in Ice) is an edited version of the subtitled film. Some language and violence (a few frames) have been altered. Due to the inclusion of mild nudity (imagine a spinning, naked Barbie), parents may want to think twice before offering this movie to fans younger than 6. The DVD is of the uncut version but also has the English language dialogue. --Liane Thomas

Great plot, but Serena's voice actor is horrible.......2007-05-17
I really loved this season of Sailor Moon. My only complaint is that Linda Ballentyne, who was Serena's voice actor, was terrible. Serena didn't sound like Serena at all...I had no problem when Tracy and Terri did her voice for season 1 and season 2. But the plot was terrific, and at least the voices of the other sailor scouts didn't change too much. I gave this 4 stars because the storyline made up for Serena's voice most of the time. I also love Sailors Uranus and Neptune.
Sailor Moon S.......2007-02-28
This has to be the best sailor moon season ever.
Intro
Sailor Mooon aired in Japan in 1992. It ended in 1997 with 200 episodes. It's about normal girls turning into magical warriors and fighting evil.
It came to U.S in 1995 and sucked badly. The dub was loved but sucked.
DVD:
This DVD has great features , picture , options and presentation.
Series: The sailor warriors are back fighting the death busters, trying to awaken the "messiah" of silence. Our sailor warriors search for three talismans and stop pure hearts from being taken.
I love this season. Full of drama , suspense , action , and the music is wonderful. the plot is dark and deep and the characters are so unique. Add this to your sailor moon collection.
Sailor Moon S.......2006-12-27
Ok, fist of all, I'm NOT a kid. It's just that I purchased this set a while back with a different email and I can't remember it. Anyways, this set is AWESOME. Sailor Moon, in my opinion, is the best show in the world, in terms of both Anime and ordinary Animation. This season is one of the best of Sailor Moon, next to Sailor Stars. The characters develop a lot and many new characters are revealed. This set is great. I highly recommend it.
The legend on a thin pack DVD set, is just the beginning.......2006-12-20
Yes, we all know Sailor Moon S is an amazing season. It's full of action, comedy, storyline(most important) and in-depth character development. So why the negative comments? Before I talk about Sailor Moon S and why it's great, let me counter everything the bashers and critics think.
Sailor Moon is, was and always will be a legend in the anime business. I don't know how people can evade this truth. There's no anime in the business more well known than Sailor Moon in the states other than Dragon Ball Z. I would say Speed Racer, but that's way before the common Otaku's time to enjoy. Also, I would say Pokemon, but it was a fad with a storyline that I fear will never end. Dragon Ball Z is the only anime that really stood with Sailor Moon in terms of legend status. The 90s were the golden years of anime, and these two were the biggest names out there that got people to like anime. Ranma, Tenchi, Slayers, Gundam Wing eventually fell into people's laps after fans of SM and DBZ started "experimenting" and you know it's true. I've heard this countless times from long-term Otaku for over 2 decades now.
Now which do I prefer? I saw Dragon Ball first back in the late 80s, but once again, didn't think much of it. It didn't really make me believe, it was just like any other show. It didn't help that I wasen't into anime yet. When I saw Sailor Moon in 1994, that was it, I fell in love with it. The story was moving, they had a new monster everyday(unlike modern day anime, where you see the same monster and enemy for 100 episodes) and it taught me alot in terms of respect, love, and friendship. You can't tell me an anime that "sucks" can reach out like that? Think before you say. The only things Full Metal Alchemist taught me is how to be down on myself. The only thing DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto taught me is how to start fights. The only thing Fooly Cooly, Negima!?, and Neon Genesis Evangelion taught me is to ignore plot in anime and think it's cool anyway. The logic for modern day anime fans is thus: "I don't understand what the characters are doing/saying, nor do I care about them. But it was random and zany, and will make great pairing fanfics and deviant art so......YAY" OH! I forgot, that's most of you out there.
Sailor Moon was bashed on for being repeative and not as exciting as say....Trigun? Trigun came out during the golden years of anime *claps* good for Trigun. However, it's fans were always jealous of the stronger popularity that Sailor Moon has, and what a landmark it made. Trigun(to me) was slow, boring, insulting, and not my type of anime. The theme of the nature of morality is cliche and nothing new. After watching Dragon Ball Z, it's hard for any action anime to sell. In short, Vash is not Goku. DBZ had no plot either, and is probably the biggest filler anime in history. But at least it's action sold well and that's all that matters. Someone also mentioned Full Metal Alchemist? Please to the extreme on that one. Alchemist drags on and never appealed to me, period. Characters like Winry or Lust were nice, but they could never save the shipwreck of an anime from sleep powder boredom. I guess the Otaku of the modern day(all these 12-16 years olds getting into anime) are different and love what they see on TV which is targeted at the male crowd. More girls love Naruto and Alchemist than Doremi or Tokyo Mew Mew and that's a shame. Mew Mew and Doremi have the unrealistic "happiness" tone to it, guess we're growing into an angst world? Sailor Moon definately has the right messages in it's anime and manga, that really makes for good entertainment. But the common male, tomboy or fanboy doesn't wanna hear it. They want a hero that's ruthless and has a heart made of stone. A hero that can get out of control and cause destruction. Hell, they want a heroine that can murder countless millions and still be respected because she was never evil to begin with. I don't know about you all, but if anyone in my 20+ years of watching anime defines the term hero it's Usagi. By the way, Sailor Moon the weakest in the group? Watch closely, burn your eyes out until you've seen all 200 episodes. Then have the guts to tell me again, if Usagi is still the weakest. Fanboys have always played hide and seek from the fact that Usagi's CHARACTER is a crybaby and not very smart. She always does her routine with the weekly monster, but once provoked and once her 15 second "I'm scared" routine is over, you're dead. Sailor Moon is a walking plot device that can never lose, I don't care which character you bring up. That's how Goku earned his title of being the strongest male character in history. To reply to a older review, Uranus and Neptune KNEW they couldn't beat Sailor Moon if she got serious. After the crystal flash attack, they knew they were up against the true Messiah. It was a show of respect. What, did you expect Uranus and Neptune to blow up half the planet just to prove a point? Go to Studio 8, I think Vegeta is about to do something like that in a battle with Majin Buu. *sarcasm* Moron.
Now that my Shinji type rant is over, now to explain why Sailor Moon S is probably the best season of Sailor Moon(next to Sailor Stars in my opinion)Sailor Moon S takes a new turn, with new and better animation. The girls are drawn way better than they were in Classic and R. It's common that as the series progresses, the animation gets better. The storyline definately hit me this time. After the defeat of Wiseman in R(and possibly a day after Fiore was defeated) we have a new enemy in Dr. Tomoe. Allow me to tell you what makes the DeathBusters different than previous enemies.
Dark Kingdom- Gathering Energy to revive Queen Metallia to conquer Earth. Later on, seek the Silver Crystal for a faster revival.
Ail and Ann- Gathering energy for themselves and the Doom Tree to stay alive.
Black Moon- Destroy the Past and Future of Earth, and most of all gain the power of the silver crystal, unaware that 2 silver crystals(from the present and future)exist.
Dead Moon Circus- After the holder of the Golden Mirror with Pegasus. Once captured, Nehelenia will use the Golden Crystal to conquer the universe and keep her beauty.
Galaxia- Conquer the last Galaxy, collect Star Seeds of humans(the ultimate source of energy in the universe) and later on, destroy the universe.
Man, I must be watching different anime each time because they all have different missions. So what makes the Deathbusters different? They're out to seek the pure hearts of human beings, that'll be used to awaken the Messiah of Silence. Once that's done, the Messiah will summon their master- Pharaoh 90. A God from the Tau Ceti Star System, who'll destroy Earth and everything in space. The main theme here is apocolypse, the Deathbusters want everything to die and be destroyed. Very dark stuff, very nice improvement over Wiseman's plans to destroy the future. Uranus and Neptune start things off by appearing, and searching for the Tailsman. Once together, the Tailsman will make the Holy Grail appear and whoever holds the Grail, becomes the Savior of the Universe, plus become immortal. The Deathbusters only need it for Pharaoh 90's summoning, since it has enough power to bring it to Earth. Haruka and Michiru cause quite a stir as well when Hotaru Tomoe is introduced. Hotaru who juggles a life between herself, Sailor Saturn, and Mistress 9 cannot control what she does and destroys anyone who provokes her. You can feel Hotaru's pain as you watch the last few episodes of S, her friendship with Chibi-usa is a tragic one. You have to see it for yourself. When I first saw this season, I was blown away......I'm not even here! Man, you should see Sailor Moon's face after the battle with Pharaoh 90, while holding the newly reborn Hotaru. Freaking legendary, what ever happend in the core of 90's body, Usagi knew she went to Hell and back for Hotaru's safety. Once again, a true hero.
Sailor Moon S is a great season for Moonies and Otaku in general. Take a trip to a time when anime was truely #1 and watch one of the greatest anime by the greatest storyteller(Takeuchi-sama), in the history of japanese animation.
Other recommended titles: Fushigi Yuugi(the drama), Noir(the storyline), SuperGals(comedy), My-Hime(the next Sailor Moon), Elfen Lied(the shock factor), Utena(the complexity), Angelic Layer(shorter than Pokemon, but more intelligent than that and Yu-Gi-Oh)
PS. For those who wanna give me bad comments and unhelpful "nos" the joke's on you for wasting minutes of your precious life reading my review. *har har*

Customer Reviews:
uhhhhhhhhhhh please have all the episodes next time!!!!.......2007-03-08
First of all, I do not know who invented DUBBING, but my god, it totally ruins everything foreign.
The SuperS series of Sailor Moon is actually supposed to be more than 39 episodes. The stupid american people cut out what i think people all the around the world would have wanted to see. First cut episode is supposed to be where Usagi and Chibi-Usa basically just talk about everything thats happened during the previous seasons. The second cut episode is supposed to show Haruka and Michiru at some kind of ocean view hotel and apparently one of the Dead Moon Remlis's has been performing puppet shows and stealing energy from humans at the same time. Michiru finds out about the Remlis and she and Haruka transform into Neptune and Uranus and destroy the Remlis. After there about to leave the hotel, they both have faith that Usagi and the Inner Senshi will protect the world. UPON DECIDING ON THAT, THATS WHY HARUKA AND MICHIRU DONT COME BACK TO HELP FIGHT AGANIST THE DEAD MOON. The third cut episode is supposed revolve around Chibi-Usa making friends with a new girl at school named Ririn. Little does she know that Ririn is actually a vampire creature. When she finds out, she and sailor soldiers go to Ririn's castle and fight her. I'm not sure whether Ririn is one of the Dead Moon's remlis, but Tigers-Eye, Hawks-Eye, and Fish-Eye do appear in this episode.
So i dont know why the american people decided not to show these three episodes, but considering that alot of people think Haruka and Michiru are there favorite characters, i would've thought they would've released it but i guess not. And it also explains why Haruka and Michiru dont come back in this season. Oh well, thats why when Anime is brought here, it should brought here completely with everything.
One of the best of the 5 part Series.......2006-07-20
The first Sailor Moon DVD I bought was from the SuperS Season (although I had been a Sailor Moon fan long before that lol). I instantly fell in love with the series. Although it is not as great as my favourite season (Sailor Stars), it's definitely fun to watch. I did not buy this Boxset, but bought the 7 DVDs individually. The original Pioneer Released DVDs have really nice Reversable Covers, a mini-poster, and the terrible "Geneon Signature Series" banner is not present. 5 out of 7 of my DVDs for this season are indeed Pioneer Versions. The 2 I bought as Geneon Signature Editions are quite disappointing. The quality on those discs seem a bit less than the others (often, a red shade is visible on black backgrounds during the show). However, I believe the quality on this boxset is as good as the original Pioneer editions.
Although the Outer Solar System Soldiers are not present in this season, SuperS is still a great season. The animation is by far the best of the series in my opinion (next to Sailor Stars) and you can definitely see that in the vivid new attacks of the Sailor Senshi. This boxset is definitely worth the buy :D
No Outer Senshi!.......2006-03-04
I would give this five stars, but this series was rather predictable much too lighthearted, especially when compared to the previous series.
But, what do you expect when the enemies are circus freaks? Also, none of the outer senshi appeared at all, like they did in the magna. That was really disappointing because Haruka and Michiru are my favorite characters. In almost every episode, the Dead Moon attacks someone who might be hiding a winged horse named Pegasus in their "beautiful dream." Conveniently the Sailor Senshi had made friends with the person who gets attacked recently and come to save the day. This series mostly focuses on Chibiusa or Sailor Chibi-Moon, so you might get really annoyed as the series goes on if you don't really like her. Over the series Chibiusa falls in love with Pegasus (Helios) and grows as a person. I've mostly just watched the Japanese audio version so far, because if the English voice actors are the same ones as were in the other seasons, I'll get a headache. Also, the English version tends to be horribly translated, and often has bad slang added to it.
Some of the good points of the series are the fact the animation has significantly improved and that all the senshi have new "super" transformations and new attacks. I also liked the Amazon Trio, because they were rather strange and entertaining characters. (By the way, Fish-Eye is a man in the original Japanese version, for people who have only seen the dub.)
The ending of the series with Queen Nehelenia, the ruler of the Dead Moon circus, is really great too. This season has a much darker atmosphere once she comes along. Nehelenia is really creepy too. The voice actress who plays her in the Japanese version does a really good job, but the Engligh voice actress sounds too perky.
By the way, if you purchase Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, (which you can get at anime-home.com or hkdvdstore.com) Nehelenia comes back for about the first six episodes.
I love sailor moon review #1.......2006-01-19
I think that their is a great story and a great beginning.Although the down fall is that unlike sailor moon seires sailor mini(chibi)moon seems to be the mane character. One of the things that almost seems bothers me is their is very little of sailor Mars,Mercury,Jupiter, and Venus.Although I liked it enough to buy almost every one in the seires I can find. But who cares what I think you should buy it and tell amazon what you think.
Sailor Moon SuperS Uncut Complete Season.......2005-10-04
I absolutely LOVE this seaon of Sailor Moon. It was both funny at points and extremely sad at others. Once I was done watching it I started all onver again. I truly enjoyed it. Thank you

Sailor Moon returns.......2007-01-29
This dvd contains the first 6 epsiodes ranging somewere in between 15 and 25 minutes per episode. A word of warning this is the uncut versions of the epsiodes and has some mild violence, and a couple of parts with brief mild nudity like during the open credits theme song and during the transformation of Sailor moon and min moon. This series has a new group of villans from a circus show have come. They seak the mystic horse Pegasus who can only survive in the human world by appearing in the dream. He choose young Rine who first traveled back in time from the future in sailor moom season II. Renny has again returned to the persent with Sorina aka Sailor moon. It doesnot seem that Rennya has figured out yet that Sailor moon is here mother yet. In thge first epsidoe Pegasus comes to Renya in here dreams. Ask her to tell no one what she has seen. unfortunately and evil circus being with supernatural powers Tiger eys attack a girl use a mirror to go through here bod and check here dream. During the battle Pegasus appears and trasnforms sailor moon and min mon into there super forms. In episode 2 the villians appear again this time attacking a young horse trainner. This time sailor moon mini moon and all the sailor scoots except for Pluto show up. The only times in the series when you see the tall 5 foot 4 130 pound well built Sailor Pulito is in the epsiodes when the Sailor scotts travel through time. I believe the first time you see Pluto is midway through season II or sometime in the middle of super S. In addition we also have a third talking cat in this series called Diana who is the daughter Luna who's been in the series since the begining and Artemis who came in the middle of season II. I have not got to the episode yet when Diana arrives in the present yet I guess that happens sometime in the middle of epsiode 6. If youn enjoyt this I also recommend the sonic volumes.

The adventure of the magic heart crystals comes to its rather protracted conclusion as the villains multiply. Aided by the Outer Scouts and Tuxedo Moon, Sailor Scouts Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina (Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako in Japanese) take on new members of Witches 5, who work for Dr. Tomoe, who is trying to resurrect the Messiah of Silence, who serves Pharaoh 90 of the Tau Nebula. Further complications arise, as the evil Messiah has taken over the body of Hotaru, the friend of Serena's future daughter Chibiusa. Although the Scouts eventually defeat the forces of evil, Michiru and Haruka, Sailors Neptune and Uranus reproach Serena for risking the entire Earth to save Hotaru but eventually concede the rightness of her position. The many plots and battles don't allow the filmmakers much time for comedy or character interaction. Rated 13 Up: Violence and brief nudity. --Charles Solomon

Konnichiwa, Minna-san!!! .......2005-08-04
Irashaimase, okyaku-sama!!!!
Anyway, I was really psyched with this CD. I totally missed the Sailor Moon boom of the US cause I actually hated the series. The awful voices, terrible acting, and the fact that anime was still the newest thing had something to do with that. American cartoons had none of the inherent silliness of anime and manga, and so the stupidity of Usagi-chan (or Usagi no baka!! as Chibi-usa-chan herself says) really turned a lot of people off. They never stayed on to watch the rest of the series to find that Usagi-chan has grace under fire, is really very sweet (and has the most kawaii voice in Japanese) and the series has such a great story and storyline, not to mention excellent character development. And of course, the handsome Tomoe-sensei with the patented maniacal laugh of the century!
Anyway, I'm supposed to be talking about the CD, not the series. Well, I bought the CD only because I wanted to finally see Hotaru-chan in motion, not just through downloaded video-clips. Not to mention Sailor Saturn (my favorite!!!!!!). In any event, this DVD has very little of Hotaru-chan, and you only really get to see her in the first show, and a bit at the end. It's the tape before this that has more Hotaru-chan in it, but I got the ending first.
Quality of DVD: Excellent. The animation really is great, even to this day it holds it's own, unlike other old cartoons. The art is great, though sometimes a little shaky, but any cartoon is like that. The best-drawn scenes are of course the ones that are repeated over and over again, like henshin and attack scenes.
Extras: What extras? I think they should have a bit more effort into the extras, but we don't buy DVDs for extras now, do we? A few pics of Minako-chan does not qualify as an extra, even with the short bio.
DVD Setup: Great! Go under `scene access' and you can watch any show starting from any point! You can watch or skip the title song, watch the show from the beginning or the middle, and when it's over it continues on to the next show, so you can keep watching without stopping if you want to. Or you can just start from the way beginning and watch all two and a half hours or song, show and everything at one shot!!! The songs are the title song, Miracle Romance (or Mirakoru Romanusu!) and Tuxedo Mirage.
Dub vs. Sub: There's no argument there; watch the sub. The subtitles are kind of big and yellow, larger than I'm used to, but much, much better than the dubbed version. In the dub, Usagi-chan (Serena, actually) sounds awful, Makoto-chan (Lita) sounds like a care-bear (yes I watch care bears, don't you?! You don't?! Uhhh...anyway...) and they can't pronounce Hotaru-chan's name for their lives. Not that I'm a Japanese expert, but at least I can say a name properly. Drop the US accent, guys, ok? The voices of the Japanese sub are perfect; great actors, great voices and the dialogue is so much less corny. Tuxedo Kamen-sama is sooo gorgeous in Japanese. O-O Oh, and I looove Haruka-san and her voice and the way she yells STOP!! and stuff like that. Don't worry though, this DVD has no shoujo-ai stuff going on. Too bad.
So why did they change the dialogue in the dub? Let me explain: sayings, metaphors and even puns can change meanings from one language to the other. Even things considered funny in Japanese might fail to evoke a giggle from an American audience. For example, in the last show, Minako-chan asks Usagi-chan if the letter from Neo-Queen-Serenity was written in Hiragana. Unless you are an otaku-san, like myself, you will not understand the significance of a grown-up writing in the alphabet-like characters of Japanese rather than the symbols borrowed originally from Chinese. So that has to be changed to Mina asking if the letter was scribbly and messy. Anyway, only otaku-san watch subs anyway, so it doesn't matter. I can't watch the dub, though. Too painful.
In any event, I love the reversible cover. The artwork on it is nice, but Americans just can't draw like Japanese can. I'm not being a biased otaku, seriously, but it's true. I can draw better that most American manga and anime artists I've seen. And I'm a very good judge of art. And I'm very modest.
So what are you waiting for? The end of this review? Stop reading and buy it!!!!!!!!
This is Otaku-sama, signing out!
Sayounara!!!!!
Excellent Movie.......2004-09-08
If you are a Sailor Moon fanitic you will love this movie. It ends sadly with Uranus and Neptune living but it is an execllent movie and hey it's NOT all cut up
Sailor Moon Super is simply the best series........2003-11-06
Avid watchers of the show will agree that Sailor Moon Super is the best series, arguabley even better in its original Japanese format. This DVD allows you to watch each episode in English, or Japanese, with the option of subtitles. The extra features include biographical accounts on each Senshi, with little pictures of them.
This is the final DVD within the series, and includes 7 episodes. The series climax comes at episodes 4 and 5, with the last two as more of a series summary, and promo for Sailor Moon Super S.
The final episodes in the series see the awakening of the Messiah Of Silence, and chaos begins to occur in Tokyo as a result. There are some teary scenes with Hotaru and Sailor Moon, and the final battle between the sailor senshi and Death Busters.
I always find Sailor Moon finale's to be a lot darker in content than early in the series, and this one is no acception. If you scare easy, there are some scary scenes which take place within the evil walls of Maugen Academy. Its really the whole atmosphere the episodes have. You get a real sense that the Silence is coming.
As a Moonie, I may be showing bias, but this DVD is excellent! All the things you love about Sailor Moon are in this finale. The show has the ability to make you laugh, cry and to hum Japanese songs in your head all day. (The DVD includes the Japanese theme tune Moonlight Densetsu and the closing theme Tuxedo Mirage). If you think you might buy it and never watch it more than once, you are probably wrong! If you aren't much of a Sailor Moon fan, again I say buy it, and I promise you will be!

Not the best but good!.......2006-08-18
I think this movie is not as good as Sailor Moon R is the best out of them all but its a pretty good movie although i was wishing that chibi moon was just die already cause i really hate her she is so annoying even her voice is agitating I'm really tired of her anyways if you like sailor moon this is a must!
Heart Warming.......2006-01-20
Next to Sailor Moon R The Promise Of The Rose , i'd have to say Hearts In Ice is the next best thing. Not only because it has the outter Senshi , But the story is a tear jerker, It teach's you about love and pain and hardships. I think its deff a movie to see :).
ok im actually 15 but dont feel like signing up........2005-03-26
Ok most of these people are talking about the wrong movie. There are no ice queens in the Sailor Moon Super S movie. That was the second movie. This one is all about the Black Dream Hole, created by the evil Badiyanu. Her wish is to take all the children of Earth and put them into an eternal peaceful sleep, which somehow feed her Dream Hole energy, which allows it to grow. The Scouts have to defeat Badiyanu before the Dream Hole gets so big it can swallow the Earth. Can they do it? Definitly watch it in Japanese cause the english doesnt explain much.
Great Sailor Moon.......2005-01-14
Such a cute and touching tale. Luna falls head over heals in love...not for Artemis (sorry man) but for a scientist. Guess she likes the intellectual types...especially when they save her life. Although love is in bloom in december, the scouts have a new problem and enemy on their hands. an evil ice queen is trying to freeze over the entire earth and add it to her collection of frozen planets...immediatly the scouts step up to meet the threat...but the only way to defeat her is my the legendary silver crystal power of love and friendship....will sailor moon use the silver crystal and forfeit her life to save the planet? Not if the scouts can help it!
Okay, thats a brief summary of the basic plot...but there is so muchmore to say about it, but sadly that would take up an entire page...not to mention i dont want to give away what will happen or what comes of Luna's new love. But here are some tasty tid-bits...THIS IS THE ONLY ANIMATED SAILOR MOON WHERE YOU WILL SEE LUNA IN HER HUMAN FORM...thats right...Luna goes homo-sapien and it gets better...not only are the original scouts in this movie...but so are sailor neptune, uranus, and pluto! The outer senshi fight along side our favorite sailors! Not too mention this plot is so enticing it literally sucks you in full force with suspense and action...making you sit on the edge of your seat wondering..."will luna get with her new fling....will artemis be able to steal her back...and will the scouts succeed in their endeavors?"
Here are some feature of the disk you may like to know
-Bi-lingual English and Japanese
-English subtitles
-Art galleries
-Character Profiles
-Uncut
-And more!
Running time is approx. 60 minutes with a 13+ rating, mostly due to violent fighting in the last battel scene, and seeing Luna a bit nude when she turns into a human. One note on the last battel scene, i believe it to be one of the best battle scenes ever made in sailor moon...it gets viloent and downright mean as it should...so of your into good battles....this is one of the best.
The best Sailor Moon movie.......2004-12-27
I get the Sailor Moon movies from Netflix. When I ordered this one, I thought it was the best Sailor Moon movie ever. I can't really remember it though. I've only seen it once. The Sailor Moon movies i'm dying to get are Black Dream Hole, Pegasus Collection volume 2 (I've seen the first already), Sailor Moon the series volume 2, and The Return of Sailor Moon (witch I can't get on Netflix). I am a big fan of anime my two favorites are Yu-Gi-Oh and Sailor Moon. This is a MUST see movie.

The adventures in this second collection of the Super S series (episodes 128 to 166) follow a single pattern. Zirconia sends out Fish-Eye, Tigers-Eye, or Hawks-Eye to find the person with the beautiful dream that will enable them to capture the Pegasus. Why they need the Pegasus to conquer the world is never explained. The trio flees the Sailor Scouts, leaving a "Remless," an evil spirit similar to the "Daimohns" in the S series, to fight them. Serena (Usage) and Rini (Chibiusa) save the innocent victims and destroy each Remless, with the help of Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina (Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako) and Tuxedo Mask (Darien/Mamoru). Rini continues to strengthen her psychic link with the Pegasus and to summon him in times of need with her "Twinkle Yell," but the villains from the Dead Moon Circus remain unaware of their bond. Rated 13 Up: Violence, grotesque imagery, brief nudity. --Charles Solomon

A Different Season.......2005-03-21
I disagree with some people on their opinions of the fourth season of Sailor Moon. This season, is the most different from all others because it changes its focus to Sailor Chibi Moon. I didn't think this was bad at all. There has to be someone other than Sailor Moon who will save everyone, and this season was a perfect opportunity for Sailor Chibi Moon to shine as the heir to the throne. Sailor Chibi Moon and Helios are one of my favorite pairings so I thought it was suitable that the story be based around Chibi Moon and Helios.
"Cute" is not your enemy........2004-07-17
I really loved this DVD. The thing that i absolutely LOVED about the dvd was episode 2, "Hearts That Communicate, Chibiusa And Pegasus". It's such a cute episode. What i really liked about it was the fact that Chibiusa gets the super-cute Pegasus-CommunicatorThingy. Near the end Pegasus ACTUALLY blushes!!!!! *Please Note That This Is The ONLY Episode When Pegasus Blushes.*
It's just ADORABLE!!!
There are plenty of other cute episodes on this DVD, too.
And it's worth the money.

Cute, but that's all.......2004-06-18
I am a HUGE fan of Sailor Moon and I have to say that I was utterly disappointed when I got this. I received this, as well as Sailor Moon SuperS Pegasus Collections 1,3, and 5 for Christmas of 2002.
I had high expectations for the series at first, but those high expectations suddenly turned to low ones.
This has to be the worst Sailor Moon season by far.
It is completely boring and focuses mainly on Chibiusa and Pegasus.
If you want to watch a good Sailor Moon season, watch either the first season (Sailor Moon) or the third (S).
Good set.......2004-04-01
INTRODUCTION:
Sailor Moon is an anime series that first aired in 1992. It was based on a manga series created by Nakao Takeuchi, best known for her Sailor V series at the time. In no time at all, the series had become wildly popular, and in the mid-nineties it was ported to America. Unfortunately, it was severely edited. Some entire episodes were missing and the dialogue was butchered. Fans cried out for uncut episodes. And finally, early in the new millennium, uncensored DVDs were released. The entire Super S series, the fourth of five series, is now available uncut on DVD! Read on for my review of this set.
BASIC PLOT:
This is the fourth of the five Sailor Moon series. By now the Death Busters have been defeated, and Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus have left town. Sailor Chibi Moon has also decided to remain in the present time period rather than go back to the future. Unfortunately, the peace period is short lived. A new series of villains has arrived on the scene following the occurence of an eclipse. These new villains hunt down humans for their dream mirrors, in hope that they will find the one that their master desires. And all the while, Chibiusa keeps getting visits from a mysterious Pegasus in her dreams. What's up with this? This saga of Sailor Moon rages on for about thirty episodes.
SERIES OPINIONS:
Overall, this is a good Sailor Moon saga, but when compared to the other sagas of the series, it's strictly average. The Dream Mirror thing is pretty much a rip-off of the Heart Crystal thing from the previous series, the S series. Likewise, Chibiusa is an annoying character - although she's not QUITE as bad as people make her out to be. If you're a fan of the series, check this saga out. I think you'll enjoy it.
THE DUB:
The dubbed version of the series is in many ways better than previous sagas that have been dubbed, and worse in many ways. It's better in that it uses the original background music and that more of the character names than ever before are close to their originals, but it's worse in that some scenes are horribly translated, and many of them have been Americanized, often with horrible slang. Here's a little tip - while you're watching the Japanese subtitled version of the DVD, hit the Audio button on your DVD remote and switch to the dub track. This way you can watch the English dub with the English subtitles for the Japanese version - there's no better way to see how bad some of the translations are!
DVD:
Once again, DVDs featuring an uncut dub and an uncut sub have been released. This is great because you get both versions of the series. Unfortunately, these DVDs are severely lacking in the extras department. Why couldn't they give us things like production art and interviews with cast and crew? Those would have been great extras!
OVERALL:
Overall this is an excellent DVD set, but I remain confident that I could also have been done much better. Still, if you're a Sailor Moon fan, this is a strongly recommended release.

These episodes follow the pattern set at the beginning of the Super S continuity: the members of the evil Amazon Trio (Fish-Eye, Tigers-Eye, and Hawks-Eye) search for the "mirror of beautiful dreams" that contains the Pegasus, which will enable them to capture the magical animal. They attack a fashion designer, a young soccer player, a stern old woman, a ballet instructor, and Scouts Mina and Amy. Each time, the Sailor Scouts defeat a monstrous "Remless" with the help of Tuxedo Mask and the Pegasus. In episode 16 Serena (Usagi) and fellow Scouts Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina (Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako in Japanese) discover that Rini (Chibiusa) has a special bond with the Pegasus, and that the winged unicorn can give them the power to metamorphose into their Super forms, but for some reason, they don't act on that knowledge. Rated 13 Up: Violence, grotesque imagery, brief nudity. --Charles Solomon
Description
The Amazon Trio continues their search for the Pegasus by targeting fashion designers, ballet instructors, and others with pure dreams. Sailor Moon keeps struggling against the Nightmare Circus, but when they target Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury, are th ey closing in on Chibi-Usa? How long can Chibi-Usa keep her Pegasus dream a secret? Mean while, when a Pegasus begins causing trouble around the city, can they continue to trust i t?

SAILOR MOON SUPER S.......2003-02-19
If you are a new fan to sailor moon and japanese anime cartoons, let me fill you in on the deal. Sailor moon is about a 15 year old girl named usagi who is incharge of pretecting the world so that she may someday become the queen of the moon. It might sound weird now but let me tell you, the show is definitely worth a look. Anyways, this dvd was the first I bought and it most definitely acceeded my expectations. This dvd opens up with the story of the fashion designer and his dream stealer fish eye. In this episode we find out fish eye is really a guy and that the U.S. dub can not hide the fact o.0 but the most exighting episode on this dvd is the one showing the four inner scouts transformation into super sailor scouts. Hope this was helpful and I hope you don't just take my word for it, you check this show out ^-^

As Sailor Scouts Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina (Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako in Japanese) continue their routine battles for the magic pure heart crystals with Professor Tomoe's assistant Mimet, Sailors Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto reveal the true nature of the struggle. Alien "Death Busters" are conspiring to destroy the Earth, through the Messiah of Silence. The Outer Solar System Sailor Scouts recognize Chibiusa's seemingly fragile friend Hotaru as the reincarnation of Sailor Saturn, who will become the Messiah of Silence. Chibiusa, who doesn't seem to notice that Hotaru commands formidable destructive powers, greets this revelation in the best "magical girl" tradition by whining that they're friends. The good-natured silliness of the Sailor Scouts clashes with the dark urgency of this plot twist. Serena may be funny, powerful, and even endearing, but she's an unlikely choice to forestall the apocalypse. Rated 13 Up: Violence and brief nudity. --Charles Solomon

Nearing the end of the S series.......2004-06-20
Well, this is almost the end of the S series. This DVD volume mostly focuses on the arrival of the Messiah of Silence, as well as the relationship between Hotaru and Chibiusa. There are a lot of funny moments, as well as touching moments, on this DVD. However, that's only if you are watching the original Japanese verison with subtitles. The dud is just annoying. If you want to get the REAL Sailor Moon S experience, watch the original with the subtitles. Also, the extras are ok. You get a picture gallery of Sailor Mars/Rei and a bio on her. Oh yeah, and parents worried about the whole "lesbian" thing between Haruka and Michiru (Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune) can give a sigh of relief. Even in the original version, you really couldn't tell that they were lovers.....on this volume anyway. However, it should be known that they are lesbians, and that may frighten some of you, but that makes this series all the more touching. To me, they have the most heartfelt and touching relationship in ANY anime that I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of anime in my time. So, if you're a fan of Sailor Moon, or you just want to catch up on some old episodes you might have missed, this DVD is worth every penny you pay. Do yourself a favor and get it.
Must Get This DVD!!!.......2003-09-27
If you like sm then get this DVD. This is almost the end of the Super Series. Volume6 is the best one. The dubbing is better then the 1st two seasons.
Sailor Moon S.......2003-07-21
This Uncut Version is great! Six great episodes in one DVD that you'll truly enjoy! One of my favorites is "The Battle in a Demonic Dimension! The Sailor Soldier's Bet" because its funny and interesting to watch, like its funny how the Sailor Scouts play all these games just to get out,and I really enjoy watching this episode in japanese. These episodes also explain alot more about Hotaru not only that she might be Sailor Saturn, but also the Messiah Of Silence.
The story in depth.......2003-06-17
This video has a great and particularly emotional trio of episodes. In the first one, Dr. Tomoe's slightly geeky assistent (her name's either Annete of Mennete) adds to many items in the Heartsnatchers oven and creates a warp in the house while Rini and Hotaru are inside playing cards, making a strange, funny, and confusing adventure for the Scouts when they come to the girls' rescue. The second episode, Rai, Michelle, and Trista keep having disturbing dreams of the end of the world and the Soverign of Silence, who may be Hotaru! Finally, the last episode is definately a tear jerker at the beginning for senseitive Moonies, dealing with Rini and Hotaru's relationship. The rest is the outer Scouts search for info on Hotaru and Dr. Tomoe's past. This original uncut version is really cool, with a beautiful ending theme at the end (sung in Japanese). The only bad thing about this video is you have to buy the one following it because the final episode just cuts you off! But all in all, this video is great. I definately recommend it!
Tensions Build!.......2003-06-04
In this volume, the Senshi discover that Hotaru is Sailor Saturn! It's an exciting volume, I bought it from Amazon.com about a year ago. The entire season of Sailor Moon S is awesome, it's my 2nd favorite Sailor Moon season. Mimet is also dead by the end of this volume, which may cause some of you to jump for joy. I, personally, love Mimet and hated to see her go. The volume kind of leaves you at a cliff-hanger, be sure the get Heart Collection VI!

The entire S series, the third of five series, is now available uncut on DVD! Read on for my review of this set.
BASIC PLOT:
This is the third of the five sagas that make up this series. The Black Moon family has been defeated and Chibiusa has returned to the future. However, a new series of villains have arrived on the scene - the Death Busters. These new villains are considerably stronger than any the girls have faced in the past. They go around taking people's pure heart crystals, hoping to find the three that have the legendary artifacts that will cause the Holy Grail to appear - a treasure that grants its user an unrealistic amount of power. There are a number of plot turns and twists to keep things interesting, as well.
SERIES OPINIONS:
The S series is, by far, the best Sailor Moon saga. I'm glad they decided to do uncut DVDs for it first. This saga features mysterious and deadly villains, plot twists and lots of them, and some of the most interesting characters ever seen in the series. If you're a fan of the series, this is a must see.
Likewise, the episodes only use the last of the intro sequences, and this spoils some surprises. Why did they do this?
OVERALL:
Overall this is an excellent DVD set, but I remain confident that I could also have been done much better. Still, if you're a Sailor Moon fan, this is a strongly recommended release.
