Description
Meifon is tormented by the memories she has been having and by the realization of her true destination. In an attempt to escape from reality, she disbands the Angel Links and the Links Group and relocates to a small village on a remote planet. But the past cannot be escaped, and it comes looking for her. So, however, do her friends and comrades. The battles, the high emotional situations made me cry and sit at the edge of my seat until the end. The final moment of the series is terribly sad yet true. Meifon tells an old lady that if she could be reborn, she would be reborn as a cat. Then, we see her lying naked under the covers under her bed as the clock reads midnight. An angel feather lands on her as she smiles in her "sleep". This "sleep" can be translated as two things: Either her one month was up and she's dead or she's alive. Personally, I think the writers were trying to make her death emotional while keeping the fans thinking about the possibilites of what happened to her.
Even if you haven't seen Angel Links (I've only bought volume 1 and 4) the emotion content and action is WELL worth the buy. If you want a good cry (if you're the sensitive type :p ) and some good action, this DVD is well worth it. Bravo to a beautiful ending to a poor start.
