Hot movie. Beefs I liked were "50 VS Bang 'Em Smurf & Domination" and "Game VS Yukmouth" 50 Loses on every beef he comes up in, with exception of Ja Fool and Bitch-Zino (see Beef 1)
Only beefs that I hated were "Chingy VS Nelly" and "Twista VS Bone Thugs" Don't get me wrong I LOVE Bone Thugs music 2 death and Twista is iight but their beef was just stupid and almost nothing so there wasn't a point in showing it. AS for Chingy and Nelly, that is probably the next "NSYNC VS Backstreet Boys" type beef hahaha.
Go pick this dvd up now if you didn't already!

I guess what they say about sequels is true. Beef went downhill since the first one. This vol. as far as I'm concerned has nothin' to offer. I watched it 3x and tried to like it. High and drunk 1 out of 3 and still wanted to frisbee this s***. The 50 and Smurf beef was a waste of space. I hate the way it is so damn one sided. If they couldn't get 50 side of the story for this beef or the one with Game, then it should'nt have been included. You only got one side of the story. And just to prove how stupid them n****s is. How you gon pay to see 50 show start a fight and then get your a** arrested. That's why them n****s will stay in the ghetto and never make it cause they so damn stupid. Chingy vs. Nelly. A wack rapper dissin another wack rapper. Why was this even added? TI and Luda. Damn son, I don't know but if that was me I would have put out a big a** diss anyway. Lil Scrappy and the muthaf***in' COPS?! What the hell does that got to do with beef in the industry? What does that got to do with this DVD? Nothin', just a waste of time. TI and Lil flip was a good story. That had somethin' to do with hip hop. Flip said some s***, Ti got on stage and did his damn thing. The Yukmouth and Game was the best one. Them n****s got at each other and stayed on record. Game and 50 could have gotten way the f*** outta hand but it didn't. But once again the best they could do with 50 side of the story was a recording and a live tape. So what was the point of that? I heard 50 side of the story more from the NY daily news, and that's not a rap magazine, journal, or a free dvd comes with a free t-shirt type s***. This whole dvd is damn near pointless to include the features. And once again QD3 has yet to provide the story of beef between establish artist who have been around for more than 3-5 years. Such as MC Eiht vs. DJ Quik, Kim and Foxy, NAS and Cormega. Yo I just hope this is the last one. A complete disappointment.
Oooh, juicy.......2006-03-09
I always wondered why I never heard T.I.'s response to Ludacris' rhyme on Young Buck's album. Ludacris' response was dope though...especially the "t.i.p. of..." part. I'm scratching my head over the beef with Game and dude from "Five on It." If "Five on it" and him agreed that everything was cool, why did Game come at him like that? It sounded like they were telling TWO completely different stories...and nothing matched. The story about Bang 'em Up, Smurf and 50 Cent...wow. That was wild. Now I understand the part in 50 Cent's movie that Terrance Howard played. Sounds like Smurf was a little over the top, but still had his boy's back...so I have mixed feelings on that one. But as for the guy who said "his bodyguard TRIED to throw a chair"...yeah right, that guard THREW that chair HARD. I don't understand their purpose of coming to the concert to meanmug dude. If you're mad at him, you coming to his concert is only putting money in his pocket...how dumb is that?
What really interested me though was the beef between Royce Da 5'9 and Eminem. I bought Royce's album and I thought it was pretty average but after I heard the beef and his album played in the background, I realized I slept on it and plan to rebuy it again. The part about making sure the shooter can aim now makes sense to me, because when I saw it in Eight Mile I was lost. I'm assuming Bugs was the slow dude in Eminem's movie...anyway, I'm glad they could get past their differences.
As for T.I. and the Lucky Charms guy, you know, I thought Lucky Charms couldn't find his brain if his hand was right on his head, but from watching this interview, the dude got a lot more sense than I thought he did. I was shocked.
This whole tape was entertaining. I originally saw it on BET, but after Beef II and Beef III aired, I had to get 'em all. The first one is still my favorite because of Common, but they were all really good.
And as for Nelly, he was DEAD WRONG for that situation with Chingy. That rhyme was straight-up disrespectful. #1 You can't invent a slang term like "dirty" which was used WAY before him. Just because he didn't use it in a rhyme doesn't mean he didn't know the word. #2 Chingy came to him like a man and Nelly acted like a child. #3 Why is the tall dude even on that tape? Chingy wasn't even referencing him...and then the dude pronounced Kum-ba-ya wrong and I was threw! I laughed at him through the rest of the interview. Nelly's reaction made me not want to buy his next album...and judging from how wack "Sweat" and "Suit" was, I probably won't.

I just recieved my copy today and i already watched this DVD 4 times. Its for anyone that loves REAL hip hop music. This a definate must have for any true Bone fan it has exclusive music and performances with ALL of Bone (Bizzy included) You get to see them in the studio recording and performing live and just hanging out this really puts you behind the harmony. thanks Thugline for this GREAT DVD!

Great DVD! Much better quality than the VHS that i bought along time ago, like years ago! This was my favorite band when i was young and i still like them, even tho they havent come out with anything new recently

Yea this is a bad ass DVD for the Bone Thug videos and what not with the clear picture and the awesome bass or whatever. BUT WHY THE HELL IS IT EDITED?!?!?!?!?! Man the Bone Thugs songs just aint the same if they're edited. Yea i recommend this DVD for anyone who is a true bone thug fan but i'll warn you this, the videos are friggin edited!!! I was hopin they wouldn't be but I new from the start they would be since there was no PA sign on the cover...i guess i'm really just wondering if everyone elses copies are edited too??? the biggest disappointment was Thugz Cry with Bizzy...don't watch this video its a complete waste...u probly only hear like half the words, if that...that video is a complete disaster. All in all tho the DVD is AWESOME...cept its FRIGGIN EDITED!!!!!!!!!

This is a real good dvd but there missing some vidoes like look into my eyez,if I can teach the world there missing the weed song as fear as mo thugs videos there just missen it's all good as fere solo's there on point with layzie but off with krayzie,bizzy there missing no body can stop me,paper,thug mentality,I still believe,hard time huslen.

This DVD is amazing. For anyone disin the quality of the shows, Im sure if you a fan, you'd realize that the shows were picked for a reason. The first footage, with Easy E up there with em', who cares about the quality, your seein history happen, and its on tape in your home. People just arent sasified unless its perfect to them, but you know, the dvd is perfect for me. I wanted a DVD that showed and really captured Bone Thugs at each pivot in their carrer, and this DVD shows exactly that. From the raw beginnings, to their fine tuned present, this DVD is sure to put a smile on the face of any real bone thugs fans....

This DvD is worth it for bizzys studio performance of 2 Glocks and footage of him talkin to the camer entering the studio where he proceeds with the conversation now to the beat the only one left keepin it real with pac (God Rest His Soul) anyone who listens to hip hop needs to see this dvd it also has interviews videos and studio footage of all members including flesh verse from 2 Glocks which is incredible

Bone's Second Collection.......2004-04-22
Bone's second collection dvd to go along with the album of the same name. The only videos it contains are the 4 from BTNHRessurection, Paper Paper, Can't Give It Up, The Weed Song, And Change The World(regular and extended). They are good videos, but the original collection contained 9 videos. It does contain a lot of backstage and behind-the-scenes footage, which makes up for the lack of videos.
The videos are great, the best is the extended version of Change The World. Also contains a live version of Tha Crossroads from FarmClub.
Definitely pick this up if you love Bone.

I enjoyed this dvd, it had some videos(about 4),Ressurrection(paper,paper), cant give it up,the weed song and two versions of change the world. It had a farmclub.com performance of tha crossroads and it had the recording of their album ressurrection . But over all 4 starz cuz it wasnt long enough and only was about one album, unlike the collection vol 1 which had videoz from 3 of their first albums .creein on ah come up, eternal 1999 and the art of war. I reccomend yall to check it out , it also haz more interviews than 2 and a freestyle by krayzie bone. It explains their message before each video. Jevon saba.

This is a great dvd, i own it, it was hard to find but i got it, i also own faces of death, another hard cd to find, this dvd has bone thugs n harmony in the studio recording there fourth studio album BTNHresurection, it is a grat dvd, that has videos, prformance of "Tha Crossroads" and much much more, if you are a big bone fan go out and get this dvd, it is off the hook, and always remember ~CLEVELAND ROCKS~

Good but could be better.......2006-07-15
This DVD has some of the most extreme brutal crowd violence I've ever seen which is a blast to watch. You won't see this footage on a court tv special. I've been interested in football hooligans for quite some time now. I've read Bill Bufford's book Among the Thugs and it was something else to see events described in the book taking place before my eyes. Being a yank who doesn't see this sort of sports violence very often, watching thousands of people swarm a football pitch gave me quite a rush.
I do wish they wouldn't have included the techno soundtrack. It rarely lets up and I found it annoying and distracting. It would have been so much better if they had included the audio from the riots and fights.
Also I would have appreciated a little more narration from Steve Jones. While it's funny to watch him commentate from a toilet, he remains silent for the majority of the DVD. Many times I was confused as to where the riots were taking place and who was involved.
Overrall though, this is a great DVD. I've been in a riot myself once (San Bernardino, March '06) and while it's impossible to convey on the television the sheer adrenaline high you get while being part of a mob, this DVD comes very close. I hope they release a second one, hopefully with footage from the 2006 World Cup.

This is possibly the greatest DVD i have ever purchased. Highly entertaining i watched it 3 times in one evening when it arrived. Everyone loves it. The only negative is that it is too short (60minutes)

The content is good, but the quality of the production is not the best. Every soccer fan needs to see this DVD though. I hope they release more footage and they make the next one of better quality.

Description
Until very recently this one's been hard to find outside of Japan and impossible to find with English subtitles, and it's remained quite obscure as a result. Now, with this release from Artsmagic all that will change, and it's a good thing, because this is one of Miike's finest. There's little of the violence which some people mistakenly assume is a given in Miike's work, but the director's unique sense of humor and reductionist approach to storytelling are fully intact. Even director Takashi Miike (AUDITION, GOZU) thinks this is his best film.

Great film, reminds me of Fellini.......2005-01-09
YOUNG THUGS: NOSTALGIA is Miike's personal favorite movie, but is it one of his best? That depends on the viewer. If you're primarily looking for some of his hyper-violent, ultra-cool, and beyond-bizarre characteristics in this movie you'll only get them in very minor and subdued doses.
This is meant to be a sweet movie, although not exactly family-friendly, and manages to lovingly capture the times and circumstances of a particular era. Miike is known for lauding the virtues of child-sight and invoking bundles wonder in his movies, even if they are meta-weird and brutal. YOUNG THUGS is no exception, and all the traditional Miike-isms are here if only sparse, but it's enough to raise it above the typical coming of age story.
NOSTALGIA concerns Riichi, a boy gradually emerging from the magic of childhood ignorance into an even more absurd and comical adulthood, and how he and his friends deal with it. You get scenes of little kid gang wars, a STAND BY ME-esque sojourne, family conflict, and the usual school competition where everyone bands together to win. During it all Riichi is discovering the world and through Miike's direction it seems just as strange and magical to us as it does him.
The kids are fantastic and a joy to watch due to how cool Miike portrays them. There are definite elements of his Yakuza movies in the suave character of these children, even though we're exposed to a vulnerable wonder within them. His humor shines here as well, both subversive and otherwise, and I found myself laughing out loud during several scenes while grinning stupidly in between.
Additionally, if you're familiar with Federico Fellini's later nostalgic movies, this will all seem familiar to you. Narratively, stylistically, and thematically this is Fellini's AMARCORD done Miike style, even mimicking the tangential vignettes of parallel life in town, for no other purpose than to broaden the world in which it's taking place.
As for the DVD, the picture quality is great, the audio is fine, and the packaging and artwork is stylish if a little minimal. There's a short but sweet interview with Miike and a strange yet informative history of Osaka's people that makes the DVD a little more worth it. My only gripe is that the subtitles only appear for as long as there's dialogue, meaning something that sounds like a single syllable word in Japanese but is translated as an entire sentence in English appears on screen for a split second. It's not too terrible, as you're able to follow the story anyway, but it can be a little frustrating at times.
Overall, a fun time and a worthy addition to anyone's Miike catalogue.

Despite their name in the title, Cypress Hill was actually one of six groups featured at this all-day festival--and they didn't even headline. That said, this pro-pot event is their baby and this disc captures 2002's edition. The West Coast-based bands at the fifth annual "Smoke Out" range from punk (Circle Jerks--still going strong after two decades) to hip-hop (Bone Thugs N Harmony) to rap-metal (Kottonmouth Kings). Although billed as a co-headliner with Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg closes the show with eight numbers, including "Murder Was the Case," following up on the Hill's mere three (the shortest set next to Bone Thugs N Harmony). Overall, this is a rousing document of a big day filled with monster beats, shredding guitars, and ample tributes to the leafy green. Your mother is sure to disapprove, but just try keeping your little brother from putting this DVD on an endless loop. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

i want to give this dvd 5 stars so bad ya know, but the audio is soo bad i was gonna give it 3 but i gotta do at least 4.
the sound sounds mushy like they cut out all the ambience, like one of thoose people who listen to stuff with the treble way down. man, thoose people. you can barely hear the crowd and the music sounds louder than the actual artists, a little frustrating, specially to thoose with good home systems. this is the dvd that convinces you to buy a seperate graphic eq for your theater setup. youd probally solve some of this by just using your stereo preset because everything sounds better in
stereo. though when you have a surround setup you dont have it cause you like listening to only 2 speakers. great concert, i
will say that the kottonmouth kings at the beginning were in daylight all the rest of the dvd is dark all of the sudden.
what happened in between i don know. you see a couple motorcycles jump, thats it. would of liked more daytime
footage. i think snoop dogs gangster party with 2 pac in the
backtrack was good. love dvd, audio sucks, thats it.

Cypress Hill does not disappoint. Their set is good enough to make you want to watch it over and over again! Those of you lucky enough to have seen them live will get a chance to relive a good helping of the magic, 3 songs is not nearly enough though and I hope they put out a full concert DVD someday. Everlast is okay but he needs a throat doctor. Bone Thugs n Harmony didn't impress me much but I'm not a fan. The most pleasant surprise to me was the Circle Jerks set. If you dont fast forward thru their set and keep an open mind about it, I think you'd have to be dead not to be tapping your feet at some point during their show. Forget Fugazi and Rancid, the Circle Jerks take the crown when it comes to punk groups who could have been great but shunned the mainstream and I give props to Cypress Hill for putting them on the bill. Snoop Dogg, well, I'm a huge fan of his but he should realize things like saying "we're gonna blow the roof off this joint now" should not be followed by still more shuffling around the stage unexcitedly reciting lyrics along with 10 other people who do nothing but shuffle around...how about some instruments or special effects, Snoop. The sound is occassionally great and occassionally bad, and the audience could've been a little livelier, they -acted- smoked out. The extra segment showing B-real and his buddy Bobo working the crowd is hella funny. Bobo's like stoned putty by the end of it. Buy it if you dig Cypress Hill...
