While it owes much of its appeal and appearance to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Eragon can stand on its own as an enjoyable fantasy for younger viewers. Faithfully adapted from the bestselling novel by teenage author Christopher Paolini, this boy-and-his-dragon tale offers clean, fast-paced family entertainment without compromising the darker qualities of Paolini's novel (the first in what is known as the "Inheritance" trilogy). The plot centers on 17-year-old peasant farmboy Eragon (played by appealing newcomer Ed Speleers) who discovers a mysterious blue object that turns out to be an egg that eventually hatches to reveal Saphira, a blue-scaled dragon that quickly grows to full-size. According to prophecy, Eragon is destined to be a dragon-rider like those who once protected a benevolent kingdom, thus reviving an ancient conflict against the army of King Galbatorix (John Malkovich), a former dragon rider who turned to evil, now in alliance with a! dark-magic "Shade" sorcerer named Durza (Robert Carlyle). While the movie serves up familiar fantasy elements and offers little if anything new to fans of the genre (or anyone who's read the books of Anne McCaffrey and Ursula K. Le Guin), it's visually impressive (especially the dragon scenes, with Rachel Weisz providing the telepathic "voice" of Saphira) and full of timeless wisdom, much of it delivered by Eragon's heroic mentor Brom (Jeremy Irons), himself a former dragon rider with memories of past battles and hope for Eragon's future. Add a fair warrior-maiden named Arya (Sienna Guillory) and you've got all the ingredients for a worthwhile (if not particularly original) fantasy that points directly to a sequel. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is up to individual viewers to decide. --Jeff Shannon

one star for the CG!!!.......2007-07-04
I got this DVD in the combo deal for preview DVDs of Blockbuster: buy 2 get 2 free. I got this together with Pirate 2: Deadman's chest, Ice Age 2, and Happy Feet, all for $30 before tax. Had I read reviews here, I'd not waste time on this. The only thing I can say about this is BAD, BAD and BAD. If you want to view it, better rent it than buy. The actings were horrible, especially the main character Eragon. The guy smiled so much that it's annoying. If you saw Dragon's heart, and LOTR before, you will see a poor immitation in this flick. The special effect is not very much special. The directing is really poor. Remember the grand battle in LOTR: 2 Towers? You'll find something similar here but in a smaller scale and dumber. Why dumber? You'll find a scene when Eragon let his dragon fire everywhere on the ground as she's flying. Of course, lots of enemies are destroyed, but what about the allies engaging in the battle? Not only the screenplay was bad, the ending is really disappointing too! You'll ask yourself, "That's it?!?", since it does not end with an answer or a mystery that leaves a big question mark in your curiousity. It's more like the end of part one, and there'll a sequence (I hope not!).
The DVD was poorly made, not much special feature. I use closed caption of my TV not the DVD, but it did not cap right. This film is only worth for Sci-fi channel. Actors in this films will be in my No-No list.
Not a good movie.......2007-07-03
I had high expectations after reading the book. Far too many important concepts and ideas were left out of the movie which made for a lack of empathy for certain characters. The flat out lack of characterization destroyed the quality of viewing for the movie.
After 10 minutes i had already realized i would be dissapointed and tried to watch the film without relating it to the book. It was far to obvious though that there was major editing done that cut out sections of storyline. There were times i thought "hey, how did the characters get to this point from nowhere?" and there were scenes in the movie that merely wasted time. If they got rid of some of the pointless special effects and put in the simple important concepts then this could have been fantastic.
The acting was just plain horrid though. I consider myself lucky i did not pay the outrageous prices of a theatre to view the movie with friends.
???.......2007-07-01
The book was okay but you could tell it was from a 16 year old. The movie was weird with good special effects only saving it from destrction. Acting was bad. Story was out of there. It was not a good film
This movie was completely awful.......2007-06-26
This movie was nothing compared to the book. It sped through things way to fast and allowed abosolutley no time for character development I gave this movie one star because I thought that it was an awaful movie and would not recomend this movie to anyone.
Era-yawn.......2007-06-26
Honestly, this movie is beyond horrible. Normally I'm not one for the whole fantasy genre of films. The dragon movies of any time are often boring and tedious. One can tell a movie such as this was based upon a book written by an 18 year old.
It's funny how the author has stated he wrote the book because he had read a bunch of fantasy novels and wanted to write one for himself. So what did he do? As this film shows: he just took a bit of EVERYTHING and combined them.
But, back to the film:
The story involves a young boy who is sent a blue dragon egg which he cares for until it hatches. He then learns he's destined to become a "Dragon Rider" based upon some mumbo jumbo legend only Jeremy Irons is privy to.
So he communicates via telepathy with the horredously blatant CGI dragon which shares the screen with him. All the while, Jeremy Irons leads him into danger and either whispers or yells each and every line he's given.
Meanwhile, John Malkovich apparantely portrays a powerful king who rules the entirle land and desperately wants that dragon dead. So he enuciates as much as possible, then sends a half albino/half vampire version of Robery Carlyle to defeat Eragon (our hero boy) with magic.
And so, a legend is 'born' or something and adventure ensues. If I sound bitter, it's mostly because I attempted three times to sit through this movie. I should have taken a hint from my oldest daughter (who adored the book) when she said she fell asleep during the film and never bothered watching it again.
So, in essence, the film is vastly improved with Rifftrax.

Good Enough.......2007-04-03
This set is good enough. I mean, how can an old production be made to today's standards without altering the original content. Come on. This and Enter the Dragon is all I need to start with for my collection. Bruce is a legend, and to have a set like this is good enough in my opinion.
Good collection, but average........2007-03-27
Right off the bat, this collection loses a star for it's inclusion of Game of Death and Game of Death II. Both are insulting to the Bruce Lee legacy. While Game of Death II is just a REALLY BAD movie, the first Game of Death would have actually been a decent film had they not tried to capitalize on Bruce Lee. Instead, we see a bunch of cheap Bruce Lee acting imitations and some bad special effects. It's just insulting.
The other three movies, worthy of being part of this collection are: The Big Boss (AKA Fists of Fury), Fist of Fury (AKA Chinese Connection), and The Way of the Dragon (AKA Return of the Dragon). I've never seen them done so well. I've seen previous DVDs of the first two movies, but these remasters look marvelous. Most of it is clean. Up close, you might be able to see some small pixelization artifacts though. It seems like they took a high resolution image from the original tapes and then squeezed the picture down to standard definition. Looking a few feet away though, you may not notice the artifacts; and the improvement in picture quality is worth it.
The sound quality is also decent. I'm not a big sound buff, but the sound sounds alright to me. Ah, but wait. The Chinese soundtracks sound good, but the English ones are a different story. Another star was lost here because the English soundtracks on all but the Game of Death movies are junk. The voices are low and the sound effects sound super low quality and way over done. It's not even worth watching the movie in English. Therefore I suggest that to get the most out of this collection, watch it with Audio Track 3: Chinese. This is the original recording in Cantonese. Then select English Subtitles. While this is a bit of a pain, it's better than watching the movie with the English audio.
This is the first time I've seen The Way of the Dragon. I must say I was disappointed. I can see that Bruce tried to get his instructional points in and his humor. But the story seemed second rate and the fight scenes needed more work. Most of them had no punch to them; they looked fake. Although, an OK movie, this is his worst. The other two and the Warner Bros. release, Enter the Dragon, are the best, especially the latter.
What a ripoff.......2007-03-03
I do not know who wrote these reviews but after viewing this collection I was compelled to write this review. I am a fan of Bruce lee and his movies and to have someone come out with this low quality imitation of remastered videos is a disgrace to his legacy. The sounds were almost comical. The real insult is to put special features on each video and to see that there are none. I clicked on the special features on every video and there were no specials. I wish I could not give it one star but I have to in order to write this. Be very careful if you get this collection and know you get what you pay for.

The best Collection of Bruce Lee.......2007-02-15
I have truly enjoyed the copy of this collection.
I don't buy imports - this is the next best thing!.......2007-01-03
What can I say. I bought imports before and got burnt.
Suffice it to say, this is possibly the next best thing to own. Here, you get to actually watch the movies in the original languages, with the exception of Game of Death and Game of Death II, but they were always done in English and is not a big loss.
Having the original Chinese language is great on many fronts. First off, the dubbing that was done before in English was horrendous as it always has been. Plus, some things are changed from the story line when they translate it as they try to match the lip movements to the English words.
Also, because of the translation, this sometimes causes other scenes to be thrown out. Case in point is in Way of the Dragon/Return of the Dragon. When Bruce's character is standing outside the restaurant with his stomach growling, a man comes out and tells him to go on inside. In the American version, we see Bruce go in and then come out again, apparently after having eaten. Well, an entire scene was missed in where he goes into the restaurant to order food and can't speak a word of English, but that's what the waitress speaks in and what the menu is in. The entire exchange is hilarious. It also drives home the point that Bruce's character is out of place in Rome which makes more sense with many of the scenes in the movie which seemed strange when spoken in the English language.
Now, it would have been nice to have more "extras" other than the filler stuff they have here, which is basically slide shows, trailers and interviews with people. I understand the import versions have much more, but for me, this coupled with the 2-disc Enter the Dragon DVD makes my Bruce Lee collection complete.
With the Ultimate Collection, you get a new 5.1 English soundtrack but at times, it sounds funny during the fight scenes. Specifically, it sounds like the fight is taking place in a tunnel with the reverberation turned on a little too much I guess. It can be kind of distracting and disorienting with the way it sounds, but it's not a total loss. Still, the Chinese soundtrack is better. Different music and it just flows better.
The Chinese soundtracks are fine and make the movies much more enjoyable for me because you get to hear the true emotions of the actors. Some have complained about the subtitles being within the movie rather than in the black bars below. This is because these movies are in anamorphic wide screen, so on a HDTV, you'd have no black bars. To me, it's not that bad. That's how it would have been in the theaters to begin with anyways.
The picture for each of the movies are great, with the exception of Way of the Dragon. Early on, parts of it are fuzzy and out of focus. Now, this could be due to the camera shot itself because it's not the entire shot that's out of focus, but it's not enough to be completely horrible or unwatchable. But, after you get past that point in Way of the Dragon, the picture is great just like in all the other movies.
The only unwatchable things are the Game of Death (minus the final fights with the REAL Bruce of course) and Game of Death II and we all know why that is. If you really want to see how the Game of Death fights were, get the 2-disc Enter the Dragon DVD which contains at least 30 minutes of the fights in the order they would have happened, including his side kicks that were supposed to come along with him but were left out of the GOD movie for obvious reasons. It's a very interesting introspective on what Bruce was trying to envision with Game of Death and it's a shame it was never completed the way he wanted it. Plus, all the interviews up to that point are great, with Chuck Norris, Kareem Abdul Jabar and so many other former students and martial artists that knew and worked with Bruce Lee.
To me, this set is worth 4 stars. It could have gotten 5 stars with some extra content and the strange 5.1 sounds hurt that as well, but overall, this is worth having. Couple this with the 2-disc DVD of Enter the Dragon and it's completely worth 5 stars.
There is no better bargain in the states than this.

Let's face it: No one is usually checking a Jet Li movie for the verbal sparring. In Kiss of the Dragon, Chinese undercover agent Li chops his way through Paris after he's framed in some sketchily defined drug sting operation. The fight sequences are tough and quite brutal, and the over-the-top finale is arguably worth the price of admission, wherein an implacable Li takes on the entire Paris Police Bureau, working his way up toward police chief Tchéky Karyo's office through cops, a pair of peroxide-blond twin henchmen, and a whole class of kung fu cadets. Co-screenwriter Luc Besson (La Femme Nikita) should know by now what makes for a nifty genre piece, but the woeful dialogue is a shame, and there aren't nearly enough action sequences to get your blood boiling. Poor Bridget Fonda gives it the old school try in a thankless role as an ex-junkie prostitute from the Midwest whose young daughter is being held captive by duplicitous police chief/drug lord/pimp Karyo (who fairly inhales the scenery). Director Chris Nolan might have pushed further the strangers-in-a-strange-land camaraderie between Li and Fonda, but the script still would've sunk him. --Steve Wiecking
Description
Martial arts genius Jet Li explodes onto the screen with an intensity not seen since Bruce Lee. "Kiss of the Dragon" is not merely a thriller but a shocker. (San Francisco Chronicle) China's top secret agent visits Paris on a pleasure trip only to encounter government espionage at the highest level. "Li's action sequences are like an oil fire, spilling from one room into the next and lighing up in the interiors with heat and wreakage"! (The New York Times)
Customer Reviews:
An Absolute must for Jet Li Fans!.......2007-06-10
After seeying the for me quite dissapointing "Romeo Must Die", I saw this film: Kiss of the Dragon. This film I found way better than "Romeo must Die" and it was very entertaining. It is a very serious and dark film with an energetic Li who shows what he's got!
The story follows a Chinese Agent (Jet Li) who is sent to Paris, France to help the local cops there with an ivestigation. When on the mission he finds out that he is in a web of traitors who will try to kill him at any costs. Now, with the prove of a crime on a cassettetape, he has to run for his life!
Kiss of the Draghon features 5 energetic and well choreographed action sequences that gets the adrenaline pumping. Li is absolutely fantastic and kicks and punches his way through the movie with great speed. There is one scene where Li has to fight with about 25 men, which is a may it be short but spectacular scene to see. Next to being good in the fighting, he also succeeds in giving his caracther some dramatic depth. He acts good and gives a satisfying performance.
Bridget Fonda stars next to Li as the hooker with the golden heart. She acts good as well. She manages to stay on her feet and knows how to play the dramatic scenes well.
As the bad guy there is Tchéky Karyo, who plays his character with such evil and anger that you just can't wait till Li gets the chance to kick his butt good!
So overall, Kiss of the Dragon is a good film with good acting performances and great action. Action fans will not be dissapointed and Jet Li fans will love this film. So, an absolute must for Jet Li fans and a good film to see for action fans.
Lots of Action from Jet Li but bad acting from Bridget Fonda .......2007-03-28
This move was packed with action, includiing must see fight scenes. I watched it over and over again but only with the Spanish language selection. OK I admit that I only watched it so many times because I am trying to learn Spanish. But it was still fun to watch in any language. My only beef is that Bridget Fonda did a bad job acting as a drug addicted prostitute.
Jet Li's great.......2007-01-12
I really enjoyed Jet Li's performance in this movie. It's always refreshing to see unadulterated martial art. There were a few slow moments, but I liked the story line and Jet Li is always easy to watch.
"In the second it takes you to kill her, I will have all the time I need to kill you.".......2007-01-08
Based on a story written by star Jet Li (Romeo Must Die, Fearless) and adapted for the silver screen by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element) and Robert Mark Kamen (The Transporter), Kiss of the Dragon (2001) was directed by Chris Nahon, in his film debut. Also appearing in the film, along with Jet Li, is Bridget Fonda (Point of No Return), Tcheky Karyo (Bad Boys, The Core), Vincent Wong (Die Another Day, Batman Begins), and Burt Kwouk, probably best known from his past, reoccurring character role as the manservant Cato Fong from the various Pink Panther features.
Jet Li plays a character named Liu Jian, a highly decorated police officer/acupuncturist from Hong Kong who has recently arrived in France to assist local officials in capturing a Chinese criminal overlord. Upon arriving Liu hooks up with a French police official named Inspector Richard (Karyo), who's in charge of the sting operation, which is currently in surveillance mode at some swanky hotel. Here's the thing...turns out Inspector Richard is seriously bent and has ties to the criminal he's supposedly after, so much so he arranges for things to go down badly. Liu gets caught up in the middle of things resulting in some martial arts action as Liu battles Inspector Richard's corrupt police squad goons, but manages to escape with a key piece of evidence. Inspector Richard, who's about as oily as they come, twists everything around to make it appear Liu was responsible for the debacle, and brands him a killer. In an effort to clear his name, Liu finds himself saddled with a greasy, junkie prostitute named Jessica (Fonda), who's connected with Inspector Richard in that he's holding her young daughter, the intent being to maintain leverage to keep Jessica on the streets...which seemed an awful lot of trouble given she was the least productive member of the group of street tramps apparently controlled by Inspector Richard (through various intermediaries, of course)...anyway, things get progressively messy as Inspector Richard and his goons tear the city apart trying to find Liu. Eventually things come to a head as Liu battles his way into the belly of the beast in a final confrontation between Inspector Richard and his men at the police station in an effort to rescue Jessica's daughter.
While I enjoyed the action sequences immensely, I thought the story not so hot, overall. The main problem I had was with Bridget Fonda's character in that I thought she was unnecessary, and her only reason for being in the film was to add a female element to the story. I found myself cringing somewhat anytime her character related various bits and pieces of her sob story as it all seems just so pathetic and manufactured. I suppose I was supposed to feel all sympathetic to her plight but I found it hard to do since so much of it was the result of her own actions (or inactions, as the case may be). Another thing...I've seen a number of real life, strung out street walkers and I can say not a one of them ever looked as good as Bridget Fonda (most of the time they looked like twenty miles of bad road). Now, the filmmakers did `dirty' Fonda up a bit, making her appear all greasy and such, but still, she relatively looked attractive, which made it hard for me to believe she was one of the least producing girls (in terms of turning tricks) of her group, especially given some of the lice infested street skags she was competing against. Another element of the story that sort of bothered me was Inspector Richard and his crew, all of whom were corrupt, and the fact they had a free hand to do just about whatever they wanted, including shooting up hotels, sightseeing buffet boats, and orphanages, regardless of the toll in terms of casualties or property damage (their motto seemed to be shoot first, shoot again, and then ask questions). Seems to me someone, at some point, would hold him and his flunkies responsible for their grossly negligent actions, but perhaps things are different, in this respect, in France than they are in other places...oh well...so what did I like about the film? Well, I thought the action was excellent as Jet Li displays why he's one of the best and most proficient martial artists performing in film today. Now I haven't seen many of his foreign made features, but of the western films I've seen him in, I think I liked this one the best in terms of displaying hand to hand and weapon based combat. The martial arts sequences are staggered throughout the film, but know the last fifteen minutes or so is all action, as this is when Li's character takes it to the Man by walking directly into the police station where Inspector Richard is located and begins meting out the punishment. There are a lot of great sequences here, but I think my favorite was where he accidentally walked into a room containing about 25 to 30 officers training in martial arts. The subsequent fight sequence is amazing, albeit kind of short. The extensive effort of the choreography, orchestrated by Corey Yuen, involved in this scene boggles the brain. As far as the performances I thought most were decent enough, although I thought Tcheky Karyo, who played the main villain Inspector Richard, was a little over the top, but memorable (seemed more often than not he kept trying to one up himself on showing us just how evil, rotten, and just generally despicable he was). Overall the story didn't do much for me except drag things down a little, but the intense martial artistry saved the day, making this a generally entertaining feature worth checking out if you're in need of an action fix. One last thing, I didn't necessarily appreciate the gratuitous rap music used during the fight sequences. It's not that I don't like rap (some of it is all right), but it just felt like it was stuck in there to be trendy, and not because it was appropriate.
The widescreen anamorphic (2.35:1) video on this DVD comes across strong and clean, and the audio, available in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround comes through very well. There's quite a few extras available including an audio commentary track with director Chris Nahon, and actors Jet Li and Bridget Fonda, along with four featurettes, some of which focus on Li's fighting philosophy and the martial arts sequences in the film. Also thrown in are storyboard to film comparisons, action gallery production stills, television spots, and the original theatrical trailer, as well as ones for the features Behind Enemy Lines (2001) and Planet of the Apes (2001).

a sharp movie from jet li.......2006-09-12
One of the cool things about Kiss of The Dragon is that it is a story that Jet Li wrote, and I'd say he did a fine job. The funny thing is its an American movie, that takes place in France, with lots of Asians. The movie is entertaining in both terms of story and action. This is a very believable film where all the action and fights scenes is supplied by the story. Its not one of those films where there are fight scenes thrown together just to get an action scene in so we don't get bored. Even without action in Kiss of The Dragon, the movie is entertaining. The movie is paced well and never felt slow to me. The beginning has agreat start that gets you engaged in the story immediately, and brings on some quick action right away.
In the end, even from a Jet Li movie, we want to see a good fight over story. The big fight in this film is between 2 twins (one is twice as big as the other, amusingly) and Jet Li. It takes place inside an office building with cubicles surrounded by glass, which gets constanly shattered during the nearly 4 minute fight scene. Its a great great great scene that is fun to watch.
I won't get into the story of Kiss of The Dragon, but know this: I found it to be highly engaging and high quailty work for an American Jet Li film. The fights are great too!

BURNT OUT .......2007-01-14
This would be an exciting film for children. For adults: Cheesy script, poor acting and campy stuntwork/camerawork/special effects.
Cheesy yet enjoyable..........2006-11-03
I first saw this movie on the Sci-Fi Channel when they were showing 'marathon' of movies featuring dragons. The subject of review says it all 'Cheesy yet enjoyable'. There are parts that are unintentionally funny: Silas' groomed hair, Princess' attire (lingerie and black pants), Girl who yells "Fire!" when operating the catapult (even though she is the one pulling the device). The movie does has its own charm and it is enjoyable (if you can take it for what it's worth -- Sci-Fi Weekend Movie).
I liked the movie so much that I bought from Amazon. Recommended if you like these kind of movies. =)
Ever seen a made at home movie? Nows your chance! .......2006-03-30
... Now how do you start a review of this kind of movie. Was it a movie? When all of a DOZEN towns people at the gate are waving farewell and sending the would be heros into battle against the (wonderfully computer rendered)dragons doesn't that just somehow seem sad. We six Heros will die so that the dragons won't eat the rest of you! Thats right all 11 of...oh Im sorry didn't see you there, ALL TWELVE of you. I especially like how in this town of twelve+heros there happens to be a traveling deadly martial arts guy, a beautiful girl with a huge crossbow on wheels,(talk about envy) and the robin hood guy, except he's actually from outside the town. So I'm going to stop now before I cry... Yes it was that bad. But as always watch it for the Heck of it and try not to be upset about time lost in a vigilant attempt to make sense out of the dragon storm movie thing..experience thing.
Well-Done Fun!.......2006-01-17
This movie is just a bit of fun! The acting, directing and production values are very good. Maxwell Caulfield makes an excellent reluctant hero and John Rhys Davies injects humor into his villanous role. The medieval setting is more convincing and less glamorous than in many movies I've seen. The script is pretty good, as dragon eggs land like comets on the earth, but we aren't sure at first (and neither are the characters) what they are. Even though the movie is not a bloodfest, it is too scary for children. The dragons do kill people, there is a fair amount of suspense, and the dragons are frightening.
It just doesn't get any worse than this!.......2005-11-28
Oh my, this movie was God-awful. It has the feel throughout of a group of first time actors playing medieval dress-up and dragons for the camera. The special effects consist of computer-generated dragons and an extreme overuse of people's backs getting set on fire... that's pretty much it. The plot is also very weak and so typical. The fighting scenes are horribly choreographed and the acting is so bad that it looks like first time efforts for every actor except for the two kings and Theldag. Picture Ben Stiller with a slight beard, medieval clothes, and a wig. That's the hero in this calamity of a movie. There's also the typical trite and very poor attempt at humor spattered throughout also. This is definitely a low budget title. It's also in 4:3 full screen only. I consider this movie purchase one of the worst I have ever made, but it was cheap. You get what you pay for.

Love it!.......2007-06-27
This movie is very funny, Owl is hilarious!
There's lot of adventure and humor, the movie is also well animated.
Oh, come on!.......2006-04-05
Come on, it's a good movie. Sure, Lord Malice is cookie-cuter to the extreme, but it's an animated children's fairy tale, what do you expect? I actually always thought that Malice was the most frightening of all of the Disney villians (even though this isn't Disney). I was dissapointed that the original seven dwarves were nowhere to be seen, but their female cousins are cute and likable enough, espescially Thunderella and Critterena. And I know everybody hates the music, but I actually thought it was pretty good, despite the cliched lyrics in some of the songs. And the Ed Anser-voiced owl Scowl was pretty funny. Overall this is a great movie and your kids will love it. Very underrated.
Who Cares?.......2005-04-03
The graphics aren't bad! I Tell you! The pictures great! This movie is great! Staring an all star cast! Such as Irene Cara! This movie I ordered from my public library then I returned it. But I came across it with different cover art! Ugh. Thats why I searched for original cover art. Wala! Found it!~Buy this movie! For 6.00!
1999.......2005-03-27
It was aproximatley 1999. The ocassional trip to the video store, to rent a couple shows to watch that night. This time there's nothing much to rent. 5 isles of garbage. We thought...
Then we came across this isle. We picked up this movie. Happily Ever After...Yeah whatever. We decided to take it. And what a good thing that was! It was the best show I have ever seen. Believe me when I say the best! Lord Maliss was a wonderful character...Snow white was very good! The Dwarfells rocked! And mother nature was an awesome edition to the show! Then all so quickly the seven days were up. Time to return the movies. And I never got to see that movie again...until now! 2004 Happily Ever After was released! With brand new cover art. But I don't like it as much as the old cover art. But anyway never juf=dge a movie by its cover. Snow white and the seven dwarves. Not better then Happily Ever After! Buy this! For 7.99 you can own the movie that I thought I would never see again! Buy at Wal-Mart or Best buy.
Good for kids.......2005-03-16
I've seen reviews saying this movie might be a little scary for younger kids, and that is possible; it depends on the child. However, when I was little, this movie was a favorite. The video rental store at the place I lived in between kindergarten and second grade had a copy of Happily Ever After and my younger sister and I were constantly renting it to watch it over again. Keep in mind, we were seven and four, at the oldest. Even when we went back for a visit a few years later, probably when I was nine or ten, we rented it from the same video store to watch it in the hotel and with my dad's friend's little girls, who also enjoyed it thoroughly. Kids don't care about bad music or bad animation or bad acting. And this is a kid's movie. I loved it as a child. I'm now 18 and ordering it again for nostalgia purposes as I prepare to graduate from high school. It's just that memorable to me.
