Customer Reviews:
Great Workout.......2007-06-04
This workout is absolutely fantastic. It gets your blood pumping and the instructor is very fun...doesn't get annoying, like most fitness video instructors.
Fun!!!.......2007-05-15
This is a good, solid work-out. I have enjoyed Keli Roberts since the early 90's. It is fun and encouraging to see Keli still enjoying what she does, and being good at it! This is a pretty hard work out, and if you do all five 10-minute segments in a row, you will have worked every single muscle in your body. You will have that great feeling of accomplishment when you are done. You can also mix and match, or just do a few 10-minute segments at a time. This is great for me who easily gets bored. I can do a new work-out every time I use this dvd if I want to, or just pick a few and do it with another work-out dvd. The pace is pretty fast, and I would not suggest it for true beginners. I would list it as intermediate.
Keli's arm sculpture segment is great and I also enjoy the bootcamp inspired segment. It will kick your butt!!! I only gave it a 4 out of 5 becuase I did not sweat as much as I do with some other work-out dvds. That is my star gage, a lot of sweat...5 stars, a little sweat ...3 stars...and so on!!! Kelis instructions are clear and her kickboxing segment really tones your legs. Enjoy it!
My Favorite Workout.......2007-05-13
I love this video. Before I became pregnant, I did it 3 times a week. The 10 minute segments are great for picking and choosing when you don't have much time on your hands, like a break at work. All the workouts are completely doable and you really feel it when your done.
well design, effective........2007-05-06
the 10 minute solution series is my favorite workout program at home. I've purchased several workout dvds in the past, and these are the only ones I keep coming back to, as they can be customized to do a different workout every time, I can adjust how long I want/can workout, and most of the workouts are effective for an intermediate level. the quality of the dvd is good as well, and the trainer is not annoying. I'm new to kickboxing, and enjoy the lower part body workout in this dvd (lots of lunging and kicking, in the privacy of my home)
Excellent introduction to kickboxing!.......2007-04-14
I tried the 10 Minute Solution - Kickbox Bootcamp dvd this morning. I did 4 of the 5 segments. (I skipped the arms/shoulder routine because I seem to have sprained my right wrist and didn't want to deal with any weights, push-ups, etc. I might encounter.) I have to say, I *loved* this dvd! It was very similar to my kickboxing class in the kinds of punches, etc. she does. I like that she explains each move and does it slowly a few times before really getting into it. The only thing I really couldn't do was a routine in the abs portion that involved a plank position (my wrist can't bear weight right now). Instead of just watching, though, I did jumping jacks during that segment. Even after the first 10-minute bit, I was sweating and felt like I was getting a good workout, so I think this would be great thing to use just 10 minutes at a time, too, if time were extra tight. Bonus: the instructor was not at all annoying! Yay!

Quick Intro to Kickboxing.......2007-06-30
I'll state what is obvious first: This workout works pretty well if you are running short on time and want to get some "cardio" in.
I feel I can do this workout on any day, even when I am NOT in the mood to workout. And that is saying alot about the DVD.
Its broken into 10min segments. There three segments:
1) Upper Body
2) Lower Body
3) Core/Abs
Plus a bonus section, this one is a great finale.
Overall, my heart rate goes up to just about the right range.
The day I am looking to burn calories and want to "enjoy" a workout, I pick this up. This is my no excuse DVD.
Of course, for a balanced workout routine, you probably want some resistance training on other days.
Overall, I would say this is somewhere in between beginners and advanced levels, probably low end of intermediate.
Enjoy!
Love Quickfix Total Cardio Kick.......2007-05-27
Great DVD, watched it on ExerciseTV and I had to buy it. The routines are not boring and the instructor is motivating. I'd recommend this DVD to anyone wanting a good workout.
I love this DVD.......2007-05-15
I'm not an advanced exerciser and can barely keep up and I certainly feel it the next day, but Janis does a good job of keeping me motivated and I enjoy it despite the difficulty.
Love this Workout!!!.......2007-05-07
This workout - whether you do 10 minutes at a time or all 40 minutes together - will get you sweating and panting in no time. I absolutely love Janis Saffell -ever since I first did her Crunch workouts. She is personable and in great shape, which inspires me to keep going. My workouts need to have variety and this fits the bill. I get my cardio in and never feel cheated. I recommend this one highly!
Great workout DVD........2007-04-11
I really like this DVD. The workout consists of 3 different 10 minute cardio kickboxing routines. There is a menu feature which allows you to choose one of the workouts or do them all together. The first 10 minute cardio segment emphasizes your upper body, the second cardio segment focuses on your lower body (and wow did I feel it in my legs) and the third cardio segment focuses on core and abs. It's a great overall 30 minute cardio routine that will let you get some problem area toning in at the same time. The routines will get your heart rate up, but are not hard to follow. The instructor is likable and in great shape herself. She has two background exerciser girls with her and one of them does the routine with modifications for beginners to follow along with.
There is another 10 minute workout in the bonus section of the menu which has some cardio and some floorwork toning as well if you wish to do a 40 minute overall workout. I liked this DVD.

Description
Want to burn carbs but no time to exercise? We have the solution for you - the 10 Minute Solution! Everyone can find at least 10 minutes in their day and we've developed five super effective, carb-blasting workouts, each only 10 minutes. Instructor Michelle Dozois has designed the segments so that you can utilize each individually, or mix and match the sets to create a completely custom workout. Or you can put all five sets together for an incredible 50-minute carb burning bonanza.
SLOW and STEADY BURN This is cardio at its best - easy-to-follow-, fun and effective! By keeping your heartrate and exertion level at an elevated, yet comfortable pace for the entire 10 minutes, you'll blast away carbs and feel great.
CARB KILLER Using kickboxing moves to knock-out extra carbs and calories, this routine really maximizes your weight loss efforts. Don't worry if you're not a seasoned kickboxer...the moves are easy-to-follow and inspiring!
POWER BLAST Get ready for a high energy, high power workout! This segment uses explosive yet controlled movements to really rev up your body's carb-burning engine. Feel the power...Feel the burn!
INTERVAL BURN It's back to basics with this 10 Minute segment. No nonsense, boot camp-inspired exercises are used to increase your muscular endurance and strength. You'll take your heartrate up and down throughout several intervals - a proven technique to really demolish those carbs and calories.
METABOLISM BOOSTER This unique segment will keep you burning carbs and calories long AFTER your workout is over! The secret is incorporating weights. By using light hand weights, you'll build lean muscle to increase your metabolism and burn more carbs, faster than ever before.
BONUS CARB CONVERSION CHART INSIDE This effective "cheat sheet" outlines the 10 Minute workout you need to do to burn off the carbs in everyday food items like bread, chips, pasta and even chocolate! Author and Nutrition expert, Cindy Whitmarsh of "Ultrafit Nutrition Systems", also gives 5 super effective tips on how to stave off carb cravings, AND 10 totally simple substitutions to replace "bad" carbs in your diet with good carbs - without compromising flavor!
Customer Reviews:
Very flexible.......2007-06-29
This is dvd provides a bunch of cardio options, from lower impact, higher impact and "cardio sculpting." While there are obviously five different segments, depending on the sequencing and the number of segments you choose, you can get even more variety. For example, a "lighter" workout could start with Slow and Steady Burn and then move onto the Carb Killer/Kickboxing segment, while a more intense, circuit/interval workout could be had by combining the other three. I would, however, recommend starting out with the Slow and Steady Burn segment if time allows because it has the longest ramp up to intense activity. Dozois does include a brief warmup and stretch segment in the first two minutes and a very brief cooldown in the last thirty to forty seconds, you probably want to warm up a little longer before you jump into, say, the Bootcamp segment.
My favorite segment is the Metabolism Booster- I can still feel my heartrate going up even though we're using weights, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pace was such that I could switch my weights for the different segments. So while anterior deltoids get five pounds, I could heavy up to my eights or tens for most of the other work and even my fifteens for lat rows. No pressure though- you can still get a great workout using your threes and fives. This is also a cool little section because she's using a bunch of functional moves, even though this isn't marketed as a "Functional Fitness" workout.
My next favorite segment is the Interval Burn/Bootcamp. It also uses sculpting moves, but done at a faster pace and without weights. The first half is three or four circuits of fast paced leg work (four exercises in each), and then we move to the floor for challenging upper body and abdominal work. My heartrate was up there throughout, maybe even more so than in the weights segment.
The Carb Killer/Kickboxing segment was fun, but I was hoping for a slightly faster pace. She teaches the usual punches and kicks, then puts them together for a very brief combination. This is still fun, but it's definitely got an upper body emphasis.
Slow and Steady Burn is a nice little segment, more than an extended warm up, but not enough for my heart to be my only workout, unlike the first two segments I mentioned. This is classic aerobics-class cardio, with more step touches, v-steps and the like. It does get your heart-rate up, but again, probably won't be enough cardio for most people.
My least favorite segment was the Power Blast, only because between weak ankles and a second floor condo, impact makes me nervous. I would have liked some lower impact alternatives to be mentioned but, again, the ten-minute format limits what you can alternatively instruct.
Overall though, I really enjoyed this workout and have to stop myself from overusing it. This is fun and flexible, and I think beginners through high-intermediates will really enjoy this.
Loved it!.......2007-06-04
I loved this video! You cant just do one section and get a workout (im sorry...10 min is just not gonna cut it) but you can easily add a section to your other workouts and being able to alter the order is great. She does a good job leading (peppy but not annoying) and you spend most of your time moving as opposed to some of the other videos in the series. I do DVDs at home almost nightly and by alternating 3 sections from the DVD with strength or playing the whole thing through I have yet to be bored with it (4 weeks now). If you are more advanced you might want to add light leg or ankle weights to up the intensity
Fast paced workout.......2007-05-26
This video moves fast with lots of jumping and high energy workouts. It really helps wake me up in the morning. The moves are simple to follow and I love how the workouts are broken into 10 min segments. Great for when you only have a little bit of time.
Excellent Cardio Workout.......2007-05-15
I think she put together a great workout routine. The ability to pick which of the five workouts you want to do is really appealing to me. My favorites are slow & steady burn, interval burn and metabolism booster. It's challenging yet fun because of the variety of movements.
I crave it!!!!!.......2007-05-07
I really like this dvd! Be advised, it is not for beginners! This work out keeps me motivated and to my great surprise I started seeing a difference in my body after just a few weeks. I was already working out 5-6 times/week, and didn't expect that. I work this dvd into my exercise schedule 2-3 times/week. Michelle wastes no time and moves very fast in between her routines. I like that since I easily get bored. This work-out has kept me interested for weeks. I crave it!!!! The dvd is divided into five(5) ten (10) minute long work outs. You can do all of them in a row, and I tell you if you do you will sweat, or you can pick and chooose and shuffle between the five (5). Each 10 minute segment is an individual work-out, so if you are in a hurry you can pick 1 or 2 segments for a 10-20 minute full body work out. I like all 5 and usually do them all together. I own maybe 40 work-out dvd's and this one is in my top 5. I have one complaint though, I get enoyed with Michelle's reference to burning "carbs", but it is the name of the dvd, and when it was made...the thing that sold!! If you can ignore that, you will feel this exercise.

Customer Reviews:
Two thumbs down.......2007-05-22
One of the most ridiculous, unrealistic martial arts movie ever made.
Just look attentively at Eric Robert's stance in the ring. And that idiotic cowboy hat that Chris Penn wearing and sobbing:"What are you counting them for?" after losing the breaking match. Yeah! This is as close to reality as it can be. And the crowd at the bar rooting for the American karate team? Give me a break! Phillip Rhee and the Korean team are the only people who make any sense as far as martial arts in this movie.
Best of the best? No! Worst of the worst!
You want real action? Watch ISKA Strike Force K1.
Good classic martial art.......2007-05-15
If you don't like to always see fake martial arts movies then 'the best of the best' is a good choice to see some real life like fighting techniques, as three of the Korean Martial arts contenders are actually real life champions. Not that violent so you can watc it with your family
Winners in attitude and actions.......2007-05-12
Loved the movies action and morals. Winning means giving YOUR best, not for the recognition or glory but for your own strengths. They all are winners. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!
Definitely Best of the Best!.......2007-04-19
5 stars for entertainment...
5 stars for inspiration...
5 stars for enjoyment...
As a disabled martial artist inspiration for practice is essential- especially on those days when pain hinders practise. This movie fits the bill! It inspires me to do what I need to do even when things are difficult.
Too bad that 5 stars is the upper limit!
Best of the Best - Phillip Rhee & Eric Roberts.......2007-01-19

VanDamme's Best.......2007-04-03
I have been waiting for a long time for this movie to come out on DVD. I think it is VanDamme's best! Tung-Po is the best villian in all of his movies. He has made many sleepers but this is one not to miss. Great man made action!
Surprisingly good because it keeps things simple; a "B-".......2007-02-19
I just watched this again recently and was actually quite glad I did because it was better than I remembered it being. The movie actually succeeds *because* of its simple plot. Helping the film also is the cheesy (but still cool) 80's music, one mean villain in Tong Po (who is, for a film like this, quite masterfully characterized), and a few moments of true tension and emotion. My knocks against the film - Xian Chow has one too many moments of silliness and the story tries to do too much toward the end in terms of attempting to raise the stakes; still, 'Kickboxer' is worth a look as a Saturday afternoon action flick when you consider that it has relatively humble intentions and goes out and achieves it in a humble way.
Van Dumb.......2007-02-02
I thought this movie sucked for one reason: It's called kickboxer but, lo and behold, there's no kickboxing in it!!!! I practice martial arts and can say with certainty that Jean Claude was doing a hybrid of Shotokan karate (which he has a black belt in in real life), hapkido or another korean style that uses high flashy kicks, and some form of tai chi he was using while doing all the slow-movement scenes. The only muay Thai done in the movie was done by Tong Po, Van Damme was training with a muay Thai teacher but must have been watching karate tapes at night in his hut or not paying much attention in his lessons. As with his other movies, his Eurotrash accent and horrific acting make this film almost painful to watch, and the only good parts in the whole movie were the ones showing that cute Thai chick who was the teacher's niece.
The Rice Warrior.......2007-01-21
I watched this film for the first time since living in Thailand and I have to say that it is plain awful to watch. I loved this movie as a teen and in some respects still like it but it is by no means a quality film.
This is the the story of Kurt Sloan (Van Damme) avenging his brother's brutal loss and subsequent paralysis to Tong Po, the Thai Kickboxing Champion. Sloan enlists the help of Xian to train him to beat Tong Po. In the process Sloan start falling in love with Xian's Niece Mai Lee (translated from Thai means Don't escape). Sloan gets caught up in the Thai underworld and eventually gets to fight Tong Po in the ancient style where the hands are tied in ropes and dipped in glass (this was the actual custom and was not made up for the movie).
This is one of those really awful cookie-cutter plot movies that made lots of money on low budgets because of the popularity of martial arts and exotic places. This is not too be overly critical on the movie here because I understand all that was involved. I just find it funny for a movie about Thailand and Kickboxing that this has little to do with either. When Xian and his niece start the chant Nawk Soo Cow (White Warrior in Thai) they are actually chanting Rice Warrior which is similar but has a different tone. The Thai crowd is chanting correctly obviously. As for the kickboxing nothing really resembles the kickboxing seen in Thailand. Instead it is scripted so that Van Damme can show of his martial arts skills and physique. None of the names in this movie are Thai and neither are any of the actors. I was amazed at the fact that everyone was able to speak English so well and that they called Sloan an American insted of a farang.
the white warrior.......2006-08-19
Kickboxer came out a year after the highly popular "Bloodsport" and like Bloodsport, Kickboxer is no doubt a "Van Damme classic". There are plenty of fights and lots of good training sequences, however the acting suffers - worse than Bloodsport in that department. As for the plot - revenge - go figure. But we don't need good acting and plot to enjoy this movie. Hey, it came to the point a good american martial art movie strives off of bad acting and weak plots so you can focus more on the action. Fortunately, Kickboxer delivers it well. The movie begins with a couple of good fights right away. About 1/2 of the movie is training sequences, but many are enjoyable to watch. The final fight is between the villain, Tong Po (played by Michel Qissi) and Kurt Sloane (Van Damme). Its a rather lenghty fight, about 10 minutes, which is nice. Above all else, they fight with hands wrapped in rope with broken glass glued on, and yes the result is some blood during the fighting. Kickboxer is the only martial art movie I know of that used this "ancient Thai style of fighting" (with the exception of Kickboxer 2 and a small scene in Ring of Fire). I really enjoyed this. I also enjoyed Michel Qissi. He had maybe one line in the movie, but still succeeded in making Tong Po a great villain, who also will return in the sequal. Lastly, we can't forget to mention the Van Damme dance - Napoleon Dynamite would be proud. Also keep an eye out for Ong Soon Han (main villain in both Bloodsport 2 and Dragon:The Bruce Lee Story), who has a short fight against Tong Po about 1/2 way through the movie.

Good Workout.......2007-05-29
I love this DVD it has such a variety of workouts & the 12 week program on it is good. I'm currently on week 3 & have lost 2" off my waist.
AWESOME postnatal workout!!!.......2007-05-13
This video is awesome! I am an avid runner and needed some motivation to do abs and toning, especially after giving birth almost a year ago. This video gives you an all-over workout in as little as 18 minutes. If you think that you are in the best shape or just starting, try this workout. You will be surprised at how great you feel afterwards. I am anxiously awaiting Brinn's new video working mainly the core that's due out this month.
AWESOME!!!!.......2007-04-07
This a a great work-out. It's short in duration but gets the blood pumping and the sweat dripping. I've always been active and this one really works my muscles! Very convenient for a mother of two who finds it difficult to make time to work-out. The best part is that you can customize your work-out - shorter if you wish, or longer if you have the time.
Super way to get back into shape.......2006-09-29
With so many postnatal DVDs on the market, it was hard to know which one to select. I chose this one because it offered so much variety ... so many ways to mix and match so as not to get bored with a routine. There are hours worth of routines, so you can change it up quite easily. And if you prefer a set routine, she also offers four of those, of varying lengths.
Let me tell you, this is one really great workout! I do the 28-minute routines while my kids are napping and I feel as exhausted afterward as with my 1-hour StrollerFit class on the weekends. Thank goodness she has Amy on there to provide the example for beginners like myself. I'm huffing and puffing even to the beginner workout! (Note to beginners: Keep a towel and glass of water handy ... you'll need both!) What I really like about this DVD is that you don't have to be particularly coordinated. I tend to be "aerobics-routine-challenged," but even I can catch on to the routine. However, I think postnatal moms who are already in great shape and who are very coordinated would still get a good workout, because there are advanced and intermediate models to follow on the DVD.
I also like the fact that she doesn't talk down to you as new moms. The routine isn't "dummied down" in any way to make it easy on you. If you are serious about getting the weight off and regaining a normal shape, this is a serious workout. She still reminds you to follow the beginner model if you need to, but doesn't make this workout any easier than a normal exercise DVD.
Highly recommend this one!
A Powerful and Safe Workout for Moms! Great Idea!!.......2006-04-11
I have worked out with Lindsay in her AM bootcamps for three years and love it!! When Lindsay told me about this DVD I thought I have to try it and you know what it is AWESOME. Lindsay's Moms into Fitness Exercise Series is the only series that will guide you through each trimester of your pregnancy and post natal. The DVDS are challenging for beginners and advanced woman. Lindsay is very knowledgeable about the working out aspect of pregnancy as well as the nutritional aspect. During the programs Lindsay always makes modifications for the exercises (i.e. something hurts or is too difficult.) Lindsay highlights in her videos the importance of exercise and nutrition before, during and after pregnancy which is key to a healthy pregnancy. I would reccomend this DVD set to anyone pregnant or not. My youngest child is one year old and I find it very motivating and difficult!! Two thumbs up.

good.......2007-01-04
i have enjoyed this movie since i was a child and its a great movie.
Seriously Lacking..........2005-12-29
I was extremely disappointed with this movie. This movie really sucks compared to the first one. First a kid named Justin becomes a Power Ranger after another one is injured and the character and the acting just doesn't cut it. What also sucks is that Kimberly and Jason from the original Mighty Morphin PRs are there and it is clear that Tommy still have feelings for Kimberly and as a fan of the Tommy/Kimberly romance Kat being there just ruins everything. Divatox is cool as a villian but doesn't compare to Rita and Ivan Ooze as she is too conceited and superficial which gets annoying after a while. Overall, at this point the series Power Rangers has changed so much that what made the Power Rangers popular is completely GONE. I can't even identify with the characters anymore. EVERYTHING has changed. The only thing I did like was the technological advances in their Zords and their gadgets. Thats it.
NOT for young children.......2005-12-19
My 3 year old son got so bored watching this movie, although he is a big fan of power rangers (he has to see every dvd he owns every day at least once) his complain was that the power rangers only wear their costumes in 2 or 3 scenes.
Power Rangers DVD.......2005-08-27
For the product being used, it was in perfect condition. Very pleased with my purchase!
Turbo Power Baby!!!.......2005-06-03
ok at first I didn't think this movie would be any good, I wasn't a big fan of katherine and don't even remember tanya but forgetting that It actually turned out to be a really good movie especially seeing as how not only was there there the now infamous
"Shift Into Turbo" line but more importantly fans of the kim/tommy relationship will be very happy seeing as how there was the definate look of love when he find out what happened to her not to mention the times he's calling out to her and desperatly tryin to find her [don't want to give away those scenes]. Also, with a great plot that was a little better than the first movie and an awesome soundtrack there was just a hint of a little somthing going on with kimberly and jason so hopfully fans of the show will find somthing to talk about and find scenes in there that their gonna end up loving for a long time...my only problem was the end because they spent a fair amout of time on buildup with k/t -{{ remember the end credits anyone? he so wanted to hug her amoung other things}}- and to bring in the kat thing was a bad move, it lacked any feeling what so ever and was just fake in having it in there buy in spite of that I loved it alot.
PS- take not as i'm sure one of the only reasons why it ended that way was because with the series 1-3 and this alpha's magical christmas thing that i've just heard about and the stupid "letter" that i won't bring up i'm sure that they had it in there because ppl were asking about a possible reunite and it wasn't going to happen whick s#cks! I could go on but it's suppsed to be a review so i won't. But it was cool to see ernie in the end fight scene.

Customer Reviews:
Love Keli!.......2007-03-28
I bought this DVD in January, and I've done it about 3 times a week since. I am losing weight and feeling great! Keli is so motivational without being too perky or in your face. The music is also perfect; not too annoying. I still sweat every time I do this video. I'm looking into buying another one of her videos, too!
Kickboxing made easy.......2007-03-27
I've never kickboxed, and am by no means overweight. I'm actually more toward the underweight side, but have my problematic areas. (That's what happens when skinny girls are too lazy to work out: they develop love handles and get flabby in problem areas). Well since I've been doing this DVD (4-5 times a week) for the past 2 weeks, I have noticed amazing results. I'm losing my problem areas rapidly, toning up, building stamina, regaining my balance and feeling so much more confident about myself. I'd say Kelli Roberts is a genius! DO IT!
Great instructional video.......2007-03-23
Kelli Roberts never disappoints. This is a great instructional video that will give you the basics to move on to Janis Saffel, Guillermo Gomez, and even Billy Blanks. She teaches you the proper way to do the basic punches and kicks so that you can work out safely.
Not for those with kickboxing experience. .......2007-03-09
This video should be labeled geared for beginners. I would give it one star based on how bored I was, but, I have a few kickboxing classes under my belt and think someone who is new to the workout might benefit from this DVD and enjoy it.
Therefore, I encourage beginners to use it! Just don't expect a challenging workout if you are more advanced.
Hey Excercise Experts... It's "For Dummies", Lighten Up!.......2007-02-05
I guess I am not in as great of shape as some people who bought this DVD... because I loved it! I didn't expect it to be expert/advanced since it was from the "For Dummies" series (a reasonable assumption), like some people seemed to think it should have been. This DVD has some favorable points:
1) Keli Roberts is a great instructor! As a whole, I am NOT one for fitness videos. I find the instructors too perky and annoying (like Denise Austin), even if they do know their stuff. I only bought this one because Fitness Mag tested it to rave results and I have enjoyed kickboxing in the past. Roberts is upbeat, but not too bubbly. Doubt me, watch the instructional portion of the video when she is demonstrating the upper-cut.
2) Great pace! Before my fav local gym closed, I went to the kickboxing classes there. This was a great replacement! And Roberts goes through the moves slowly enough you can get used to the combos without getting overwhelmed.
3) It is so easy to squeeze into your schedule! The way it is set up, you can do one or all three sessions, as time allows. Believe me, even just doing two of the three gets you sweating and, more importantly, gets those muscles burning.
4) Once you have done it enough times, you can make it a little tougher while she is doing the easier parts by adding moves(like actually punching instead of pivoting) as you go through the motions.
In the few weeks I have been doing it, I have lost inches off my thighs, arms, and hips! I am not severely overweight, but needed toning (and to lose some a few pound), and this is doing the trick nicely.

A little break from the routine.......2007-06-03
This routine didn't add much in terms of intensity and may even detract compared to the two mile walk with 2 pound weights, but it breaks up the monotony a little when the walks get boring so it's worth a try. The group is made up of instructors so you can compare your coordination and ability to theirs (favorably, I bet!)
A Feel Better DVD.......2007-03-23
I have done several of Leslie's other exercise DVDs but this one I feel really gets my heart rate up and when I am done I feel good. I like the way Leslie Sansone teaches. I can always keep up with her and always know what she is doing. I think this is definitely a must have.
Keep on Moving.......2007-02-24
This video adds some new variety to ones workout. It takes it up a notch as far as energy expended in a short time. Is a good one to do on opposite days with one of her regular walk videos. I had some trouble hearing the beat so I just turned up my subwoofer.
Easier Leslie Sansone workout - good for beginners.......2007-01-18
I own several L. Sansone videos and I found this one to be fairly light intensity. It's a combination of her standard walking workout plus some kickboxing moves. But it's only 30 minutes and whenever she transitions into some of the kickboxing moves, she slows the tempo way down. So if you're used to working harder/at a higher intensity for 30-45 minutes, you'll probably find this too easy. But if you're just starting out and want to try something else besides just walking, then this is a good choice.
Beginner Kick Boxing.......2007-01-15
If you are looking to add a little kick boxing to your workout, this is an excellent way to start.

Great body workout.......2007-04-11
Great workout, you cover every area of your body with intensity. No body part is left alone. Most workouts sometimes you feel as though a body part was neglected, not this one. A great buy that converted me to the Firm Series.
One of the longest Firm workouts but one of the best .......2007-04-10
Enough people have given this video a glowing review that I probably don't need to add my voice as well ... but in case anyone needs more convincing, buy this video! I own nine Firm videos and this is probably my favorite.
Emily does a fantastic job and this is absolutely one of the hardest Firm videos -- but it's also one of the most fun. More than any other Firm video, this one leaves my muscles (especially the legs) feeling like jello by the end.
Emily keeps things moving along, which is really key, especially since the workout comes in at just over an hour long. Just when you think you can't possibly take more of a certain exercise, she moves you to a new muscle group. Her cardio and step segments are very fun and help the time go by very quickly. This is one video where I feel like it's over not too long after I've begun. The step moves do take some getting used to but I've had a harder time learning moves from other videos (such as the "box step" from Allie Delrio's Transfirmer video -- I've given up on ever getting that right and just march in place instead).
A quick word on The Firm in general: I have been doing The Firm off and on for about five years and religiously for the past four months. It is an awesome exercise program and has helped me improve my fitness enormously. It actually is fun, and it's efficient enough that you will see results quickly and thus remain motivated to continue. In the past four months I have made absolutely no dietary changes and yet I have lost almost ten pounds. I think this is especially significant because I have gained a lot of muscle, which weighs more than the fat I have lost.
If you are new to The Firm, expect to not finish a workout the first time through. Just watch the video and walk in place until you are comfortable and then pick it up again. The good news is that a) it works, b) you'll get used to it and be finishing workouts in no time (for me it was less than two weeks), and c) because it's so tough, you can continue using these workouts for months and even years without plateauing. Good luck!
Just a Beginner.......2007-02-13
I bought this and tried it out today. I have been using The Firm Fanny Lifter for only 3 weeks. I enjoy the 3-in-1 DVD that came along with it, but I needed variety. Talk about a good cardio and weightlifting workout. WOW!! I am not what people would consider overweight, by any means, but if you are looking to tone up THIS is the DVD for you.
The cueing is a little shaky at times, but overall it is excellent.
Great workout that continues to challenge me!.......2007-01-10
The FIRM is without a doubt the best workout series I have ever used. My best friend got me started with it and my cousin has even become an instructor at their studio in Columbia, SC!
I have owned Complete Aerobics and Weight Training for almost three years, and I continue to find it challenging. The aerobics portions are fun and invigorating, and the weight training leaves you feeling stronger.
Besides enjoying the FIRM's effective choreography, I find the cuing in this series very easy to follow. The instructors never suddenly throw something new at you. You always have plenty of time to prepare for the next move.
I'm pooped by the end of the hour, but I know I've done something great for my body.
"Gettin' down with the fanny lifter".......2006-07-09
This is an excellent workout. I love the Firm workouts. I have lost 60 pounds and counting doing Firm workouts 4-5 times a week along with eating a healthy diet. It uses light, medium, and heavy dumbbells, the fanny lifter, and the sculpting stick. Its a cardio + sculpt video. I really enjoy the step aerobics segment. Emily is a great leader. She cues well and she is energetic. This video has an extra long stretching part (i think its about 12 minutes) in the end which is very relaxing and really soothes your muscles after working them so hard in the workout. Highly recommended!
