Former rodeo star Roy Rogers decides to help his old friend, ex-rodeo champ Sam Bennett (Shannon), when he discovers that Sam bragged to his East Coast daughter Sue (Ryan) that he actually owns Roy's prosperous and large ranch, wanting to impress her.
