Description
Nick McCallum works as a mechanic in the family's garage, but dreams of one day making it as a professional surfer. With his friend and mentor Dane Sanders (real life pro-surfer JARROD DEAN), Nick trains to ride massive walls of water, despite knowing that the waves could leave him wheelchair-bound and bitter as they did his own father.
When Nick decides to break the shackles of his over-bearing father, he teams up with a manager with ulterior motives. Nick's manager uses him to smuggle drugs while traveling to the world's surfing competitions. When the scam is discovered, Nick takes the fall and winds up in jail. Behind bars, Nick realizes that the only thing holding him back is his own doubts.

Customer Reviews:
How Could They?.......2005-01-27
Beautiful Waves, and the French gal could likely have her way with me. Other than that, you cannot believe how bad this film is. If you can view Liquid Bridge as a comedy, it's actually pretty good. Hey, I watched the whole thing! It's got more plot twists and turns than a grinder at Rincon. Pretty radical stuff. The lead character and his development is so unbelievable, again, gotta go for the comedy eyes. Some really beautiful surf photography though, I must admit. There will be times, however, when you will say, "I can't believe I'm sitting here and watching this thing......how could they?" Aloha.
