Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars A good independent old school kung fu movie.......2007-04-10

If you have seen movies like 'Big Rascal' with Chi Kuan Chun or 'Black Dragon' with Jason Pai Paio, then the story in this will feel familiar. Chen Kuan Tai and Jimmy Lee play brothers who end up becoming gangsters to earn money. Jimmy Lee loves his new job, but his brother turns into a righteous gangster. Jimmy Lee teams up with the big boss in town played by Chen Sing and his brother doesn't like this one bit.

The story is pretty slow, but the relationship between Kuan Tai and Jimmy Lee is very well done. The fights are not exactly plentiful and they are not great when they do occur, but there is a big surprise before the final fight that is definitely worth sticking around for. I didn't like this movie very much, but it is worth sticking around to the end.

The directing job is very good and Chen Kuan Tai's acting is outstanding. Not a great movie, but a must see for fans of Kuan Tai.

3/5

The picture quality is nothing special but more than watchable.
