Description
Starring David Warbeck of Lucio Fulci's The Beyond and Razor Blade Smile! Randall (Paul Murphy) is a small time crime boss with his eye firmly on his rivals cocaine stash and criminal empire. Randall and his right-hand henchman Jimmy, (Andy Ranger) hire legendary hitman Walker (Nick Rendell), to take out his nemesis Harris. With Harris out of the way, Randall plans to take over the sole distribution of cocaine for the whole South Coast of England. It soon becomes apparent to Walker that Randall never intended to pay for this work. With his plan compromised, Randall pulls out all the stops to have Walker killed, but is it Randall who should be worried? Double crossed and betrayed, the underworld better get ready for Walker!

If you are into drama, thrillers, or suspense, this movie is a must see. The producers couldn't ask for a better actor than Neil Patrick Harris, he truly displayed an excellent performance. This movie, which is based on a true story, is so disturbing that it will make you cringe. It is so heart felt that it will make you cry. Sudden Fury opened the door for people too see that every family that seems loving and every parent you wish to model are not necessarily what it seem to be. Sudden Fury exposes the truth that mental, emotional and verbal abuse takes place in all types of environments and if not attentive many of us may never know of its existence.

I can't believe there is no review about that awesome Gangster flick.

To me Darren WARD has made one hell of a movie : the English answer to FULCI 's classic CONTRABAND.

As you can read on the Amazon's description, the plot could hardly be simpler. Basicaly it's all about betrayal, revenge and Gangsters shooting each other. The acting, exept for David Warbeck, Nick Rendell and a few others, is quite weak but OK. It also is seems to be shot on a cheap camcorder ( wich is allright to me ) but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, could keep SUDDEN FURY from being succesful.

First of all, it is VERY GORY. The shoot outs are the best I've ever ever seen in a such a low budget movie. You see people's body parts explode when bullets hit them and bloodstains all over the place. I think the production has spent most of their money on squibs and it shows. The body count is extremely high and the deaths always enjoyable to watch. Oh yeah... You also got graphic torture. On top of that it is well shot.

The bottom line is : if you're sick of fancy, classic Gangster stuff where it's all clean and only Joe PESCI is insane. if you love HK ACTION, Italian CRIME, GORE and Movies with Guts And Guns in general and don't mind the low budget. JUST BUY SUDDEN FURY, you'll thank me later.
