Clint Eastwood plays a bounty hunter who helps out the wife (Bernadette Peters) of a bail-jumper after her child is kidnapped by neo-Nazi types. A long, entirely forgettable comedy with an uneven tone, this is purely for diehard fans of Eastwood's erratic work before Unforgiven bumped him up to the A list. Better Eastwood choices from around the same time as this film (1989) include Tightrope, The Dead Pool, and White Hunter, Black Heart. Little known at the time, Jim Carrey has a small part in this throwaway Eastwood film (directed by Eastwood's sometime-collaborator, Buddy Van Horn). --Tom Keogh

CLINT OH CLINT WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?.......2007-04-17
I cannot believe I have to give a movie that has the Man in it
one star, but if you go to buy this BEWARE! This is snore-bore
stage 101. And I love Eastwood films, even those bad ones that
are going thru your mind right now. This however is his worst
EVER! I mean while watching I defy you too not go a least once

worth a try.......2006-08-31
Contrary to some of the other reviewers, I thought this movie was decent. Not a real gripping story, I like putting this one on before taking a nap. The scenery and soundtrack are relaxing. If you are new to Clint Eastwood movies, I would go with pale rider or magnum force before buying this one.
Good Movie.......2006-04-19
I like this movie, I don't like bad movies, for example, Dead Man Walking, or anything starring Kevin Bacon. Thus, these other raters are all stupid and worse than Genghis Khan. Yeah go ahead click unhelpful but what I said is true.
Hox floppy can a flop be ?.......2006-01-19
All great film makers have their bad moments, and this film is Clint Eastwood's bad moment. The film could have been funny and it is just entertaining. The film could have been deep and thoroughly thought and it ends like a corny story for grown-up flunkies at the back of the classroom. Why did he miss all the potential of his situation ? Because he wanted to demonstrate something : extreme right racist ideas are bad and lead to crime, and nothing but crime, and crime leads to wasting one's life, and only wasting it. It is too obvious the film advocates staying right in the middle of the bull's eye of the squarest society one can imagine. Square and nothing but square. I must admit I prefer circles, stars of all types and golden rectangles, but squares are too simple for my complex mind. If you want to enjoy yourself somewhat without using your head too much, do watch this film and you will be able to noisily crunch many cookies without losing too much of the « lyrics ».

Pink Cadillac never starts.......2004-05-27
Although I like GM cars, Pink Cadillac stands as being the worst movie of Clint Eastwood's career. He plays a modern-day bounty hunter by the name of Tommy Nowak that uses skill rather then a gun to catch his suspects, although he does carry a gun briefly here. Bernadette Peters plays this little curly-haired blonde who lives in a trailer with her dead-beat husband and his speed-freak friends. Her husband owns a pink cadillac and she drives off in it with her baby and a bag of money. Nowak is then sent to bring her back from a casino before her husband's gang finds her first. When they do, and kidnap the baby, Nowak and Peters bond when they give chase to get it back.
The movie is red-neck and full of trailer trash stereotypes in every way. It also helps define the classic example of the woman that takes the bad boy, but then learns her lesson when she finds Nowak. But the movie has poor acting. Clint's chessy impressions, including an imitation of a drunken red-neck, do little to raise any laughs. The gang of army wannabe's don't make the film any more dramatic. The whole concept of "Don't mess with a man's automobile" is literally worn out.
Despite the semi-colorful cast of Peters, Frances Fisher, and even Jim Carey, and an expansive soundtrack, this romantic comedy falls short of anything close to a classic. It's a good thing that Eastwood didn't direct this himself. Buddy Van Horn took the rap instead. This is the only film of Eastwood's career that did not receive a theatrical release in the UK, and it remains his lowest-grossing to date. Sorry folks, but Pink Cadillac never starts. If you are an Eastwood fan like me, get it to fill in the gaps of your DVD collection.
Product Description
"Dirty" Harry Callahan was one of the first screen characters to embody contemporary fears about crime--and the uncompromising response to it that much of the audience would liked to have seen. Clint Eastwood's laconic rogue cop became an instant screen icon; his catchphrases ("Do you feel lucky?", "Make my day") were and still are endlessly quoted, and he even inspired a futuristic comic-strip counterpart in the person of Judge Dredd. Made at the time when the real "Zodiac" serial killer was terrorising San Francisco, the original Dirty Harry struck a frighteningly realistic note in 1971: aside from Eastwood, director Don Siegel's taught, pacey direction, Lalo Schifrin's nervy jazz score and Andrew Robinson's cackling psycopath "Scorpio" all make a strong impact. Such was the film's success that it gave rise to no less than four sequels, none of which are its equal but all of which get by on the charisma of Eastwood's anti-hero, even when he's increasingly trapped by the character's one-dimensional persona.
This five-disc box set contains all the "Harry" movies: Dirty Harry (1971); Magnum Force (1973, with David Soul as a vigilante bike cop); The Enforcer (1976, with Tyne "Lacey" Daly as Harry's new and reluctant partner); Sudden Impact (1983, the weakest of the lot costarring Eastwood's then-partner Sondra Locke) and The Dead Pool (1988, a surprisingly upbeat end to the series).

As both an actor and a director, Clint Eastwood has had a string of unparalleled critical and commercial successes, from his trademark Westerns to the Dirty Harry action films. This set of six Eastwood films captures the actor as both cowboy and cop, from the 1970s to the '90s. Eastwood ventured into new territory with 1971's The Beguiled, a creepy and seductive thriller about an injured Civil War soldier who causes strife at an all-girls school. While there, he tempts an innocent girl (Elizabeth Hartman), and engages in an unnerving battle of the minds with the school headmistress (Geraldine Page, at her tortured best). The same year, Eastwood burst onto screens with Dirty Harry. This action blockbuster introduced the world to Harry Callahan while making waves with its aggressive violence and nonstop thrills. Eastwood himself helmed the vigilante Western The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) as well as the comedy Bronco Billy (1980), which films show Eastwood at different ends of the cowboy spectrum: a vengeful family man seeking revenge and an amiable traveling showman who runs a Wild West extravaganza, respectively.
With his Oscar-winning film Unforgiven, Eastwood showed himself as the master of the revisionist Western, crafting a morally complex tale of Western justice that turns the notion of good guys and bad guys on its head. And he proved he still had star status with the thriller In the Line of Fire, playing an aging FBI agent who takes on a cunning psycho (John Malkovich) determined to assassinate the president. While this selection doesn't feature any Sergio Leone Westerns or Eastwood's later acclaimed dramas, it remains a great snapshot of a long and illustrious career. --Mark Englehart

6 Clint Films, 5 star selection...But...Not a Big Bargain.......2005-05-29
Spanning 23 years of Eastwood's brilliant career as both an actor and director, this 6 film set is a fabulous representation of his work. If you are a big Eastwood fan though, you probably have most of these films in your collection by now. Even if you don't, I did the Math on the current prices of the individual fims, and there is no break for buying them in this set. Prices change though, so you should check it out if you are considering this at a much later date then this review. So if you don't own any of these already, or are thinking about this set as a gift, you may want to check the prices of the outside sellers, you would only have to pay the shipping fee for once.
Here is a recap of the films, and by the way, I own all of these, and each one has been given excellent treatment in the transfers, even the one's from the 70's look and sound great.
Please note that "Unforgiven" is the single disc edition(there is also a 2 disc edition available).
"In The Line Of Fire"
If he had moved a fraction of a second sooner he may have saved his beloved president Kennedy. But at what cost to him? He is Frank Horrigan(Eastwood), an aging Secret Service Agent, trained to do whatever it takes to protect the President of the United States. Now he has a chance to redeem himself in his own eyes.
A psychotic, but very clever, would be presidental assassin is on the loose. He calls himself Booth(Malkovich). He taunts Horrigan about the day Kennedy was shot. Lets him know that he intends to assassinate the president, even if it means dieing himself, and taking Frank with him.
Frank does everything he can to track down this killer and save the president. Most of the other agents feel Frank is too old to keep up the pace of the Presidental Campaign trail, but he feels he must persue this case.A deadly cat and mouse game ensues, and we are kept on the edge of our seats throughout the movie, waiting to see what Booth's next move will be, and if Horrigan will be a part of it. It's thrilling and chilling.
Eastwood as always gives a brilliant performance as the aging agent, and Malkovich is outstanding as the mysterious, chilling assassin. Also contributing greatly to the film are Rene Russo, as the field agent Horrigan takes a shine to and Dylan McDermott as his young partner, and we all know by now that it is not healthy to be Clint's partner in any film! Directed by the great Wolfgang Petersen( Das Boot, Air Force One), and scored by Ennio Morricone, you wont want to miss this thrill ride.
"Unforgiven"
This may well be the greatest of Clint Eastwood's works. It recieved four Academy Awards including Best Picture(1992) and Best Director.
The story revolves around a group of prostitutes living in the little western town of Big Whiskey. They are appalled that the town Sherriff does little in the way of punishing a customer that has cut up the face of one of the girls. They put up their own reward to any man who kills the offender(and his partner). Word of the crime(albeit exaggerated)and the reward spreads through the west and brings to town an array of killers. The tension grows throught the film as the Sherriff and his men brutalize these predators. Clint is magnificent as an ex-killer, turned pig farmer, who's character builds back up to one bad hombre. The story is filled with characters who are sinners and saints(mostly sinners), and will grab you with performances by Gene Hackman Morgan Freeman and Ricahrd Harris.
"Bronco Billy"
Watching this wonderful film you will come to realize that this was a labor of love for Clint Eastwood, who directs as well as stars. He had something to say and said it with this story. It is many things. It is entertaining, amusing, inspiring and poignant. The message is clear. You can do what you want to do, be what you want to be.
Eastwood gathers all the usual suspects together and casts them as a group a misfits who all have a special role as part of "Bronco's Billy's Wild West Show", a modern day attempt to bring the wild west back into the hearts of all the "young partners out there". Of course Eastwood is "Bronco Billy", the rootin tootin sharpshooter who runs the show. His problem (besides never having any money to pay the crew) is holding on to a good assistant. Enter one Miss Antoinette Lilly(Sondra Locke). A snobby, wealthy heiress that has just been deserted by her new husband, in the middle of nowhere and she is presumed dead. She reluctantly becomes Bronco Billy's new assistant and learns the hard way, that there is more to life than money.
It a great story and an inspiring one also.It makes you want to follow your dreams. Most of the actors are recognizably some of Clint's favorites, often working together and they do this well. The cast includes Geoffrey Lewis,Bill McKinney, Sam Bottoms, Scatman Crothers and William Prince. It has a great soundtrack and score, with music by Steve Dorff. Also watch for a cameo performance by Merle Haggard as our bar room buddies brawl in the neighborhood saloon.
"Dirty Harry"
In 1971 Clint Eastwood made a big move and switched genres from Westerns to make this unique cop story. And what a story! "Dirty Harry" soon became a household name along with all the famous lines that came from this first in the series. "Do you feel lucky? Well do ya Punk?" "This is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world. It'll blow your head clean off."
I Love that stuff,(can't ya just hear Clint saying that), and the taunting look he gives the recievers off these lines.
Inspector Harry Callahan, a loner, widowed due to a drunk driver, has no qualms about sidestepping the law to apprehend a criminal. He's frustrated and fed up with murderers and rapists getting away because of some pesky problem like reading Miranda Rights! He does it his way. Audiences cheered this at the time, and he became an icon for cop movies yet to come.
Okay so in this first of the Dirty Harry series, Harry is after a demented sniper.Scorpio(Andrew Robinson), as he calls himself, shoots his victims from the roof tops in San Francisco, (Based on the real life Zodiac Killer that was loose at the time), and has kidnapped and buried alive a 14 year old girl.Harry must deliver his ransom demand to this psycho before he kills again or lets the girl die.Harry is forced to go by the book, but alas things go wrong in the legal department and Harry decides it time to play it his way. He goes after this madman with a vengeance.
The Outlaw Josey Wales"
Josey Wales is another of Clint's Eastwood's bigger than life Western characters that you won't soon forget.Josey though, is not like the others that preceeded him. It becomes apparent throughout this film, that this tough loner, on the run from murderers, has a heart the size of Texas.(And of course in this one we DO know his name!).
Eastwood also does an artful job of directing this tale, that has everthing from action to romance, and even a little comedy.
The end of the civil war is nearing. The northern soldiers though, won't let up. The "Red Legs" as some of these notorious war criminals are called are still pillaging, and plundering the homesteads in the territory and...killing the families.Wales is a victim of these brutal attacks, his house burned to the ground and his wife and son viciously attacked and murdered. He joins up with a group of others who are out to avenge their families and they become a notorious group. When they are offered a deal at the end of the war, they all turn themselves in..all but one...Josey Wales!
Ride with Josey(everyone else does) across the beautiful western vistas, as he takes on the "Red Legs" that are after him, saves a family from "Commancheros", makes friends with the Indians, and wears his heart on his sleeve as along the way he seems to attract a group of outcasts, including a dog, that he just can't leave behind.
Clint surrounds himself with the most marvelous cast, including Sondra Locke, Bill McKinney, John Vernon and Chief Dan George who provides many of the lighter moments in this action packed western.
"The Beguiled"
Think of Eastwood, and you think of his cool, tough characters.Harry Callahan, Josey Wales, and The Man With No Name, are the first we envision. Cpl. John McBurney is probably not at the top of that list. Yet, this is a film in which Clint really shines, and one that will hold you from start to finish with it's superb Direction by Don Siegal("Dirty Harry"/"Two Mules For Sister Sara").
The rest of the cast is also outstanding in this psychological drama set in the south during the civil war. Cpl. McBurney(Eastwood) is an injured Union soldier, discovered and nursed back to health by the residents of an all girls school. The first impulse of the Head Mistress, Miss Farnsworth(Geraldine Page) was to turn him over to the Confederate Army, but Mr. McBee, as they have so affectionately come to call him, has charmed nearly all the members of the household from Miss Farnsworth, to the 12 year old Amy(played brillantly by Pamelyn Ferdin),leading each to believe that they are the one he loves. As each disovers the truth, they begin some mind games of their own. Has Clint finally met his match in this tale of jealousy and revenge. Find out in this very different film for Clint...no guns or badges to get him through this one.
The cast includes Elizabeth Hartman, Jo Ann Harris and Melody Thomas(Scott). The film is not one his better known blockbusters, but a must have for any respectable Eastwood collection, and I'm glad they included it in this set.
6 Films, Action, Romance, Thrills and Chills, a little comedy and CLINT! What more can a person ask for?..maybe a better price for buying them in bulk? 5 stars for the selection and DVD quality, 4 stars for the package deal...Laurie
Among Eastwood's Best.......2002-08-13
I can't quite decipher the complaints about this set. Some of Eastwood's greatest movies are collected here, or at least some of his most interesting. "In the Line of Fire" and "Dirty Harry" are considered classics of their kind. "Bronco Billy" is an oddity, sure, but one of Eastwood's most unusal, and sweetest, films. "The Beguiled" is a fascinating Gothic mood piece, almost a Tennessee Williams exercise about sexual repression and jealousy, set in a most unlikely time and place. "Unforgiven" is one of a tiny handful of truly great American films released during the past 15 years, and perhaps the most potent examination of violence since "The Wild Bunch." And "The Outlaw - Josey Wales" may just be Eastwood's best film. It's got an epic sweep, wonderful characters, terrific performances, and shows an almost incredible grasp of the camera for a man who, at the time (1976) had only directed a couple of movies.
why all the good movies were taken out?.......2001-10-19
I like Clint Eastwood both as an actor and as a director. Collection presented in this box set only touches his real genius. This is a great way to make you buy the movies that you really don't want to own. I'm more of his western part fan and I would prefer to see more such movies put in (accutally it does exists as a separate set). But if you are die hard Clint fan you would have to buy the unwanted movies anyhow so it's all good. Good set, nicely done with many options. Before you buy it just make sure that you really like all the movies.
MAKE MY DAY!.......2000-09-01
Clint Eastwood has a wide range of acting capability. IN this collection which includes: The Beguiled, Bronco Billy, Dirty Harry, In the Line of Fire, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and Unforgiven many of those abilities are represented. To answer comments below, I see Hang Ém High and many other of Clint's westerns on TBS - - they love them too. But this collection has ones that are not commonly seen: The Beguiled - - is a wonderful eerie western. Bronco Billy - - Clint with a sense of humor and circus entertainment. Dirty Harry - - the odes of a 44. magnum. In the Line of Fire -- great flick with John Malcavich playing a presidential assasin and Eastwood a special agent guarding the president. UNFORGIVEN - - a retired gunslinger is called upon to target two men who slashed a woman. It's not comedy but great story: Gene Hackman plays a proud sherrif. Great cast! Terrific collection.
Poor selection to represent Eastwood.......2000-08-18
This selection of 6 DVDs, The Beguiled, Bronco Billy, Dirty Harry, In the Line of Fire, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and Unforgiven, is a poor sampling of his work. Hang'm High would've better represented his earlier work. Bronco Billy is one of his worst films! Any Which Way But Loose would've been a far superior choice. The others are good works, but I will avoid this collection in preference of buying my favorite individual titles.

A MUST FOR FANS!.......2000-06-16
Being a huge fan of both Spike Lee and Martin Scorsese this is a great set to own. Plus, you get to have it on dvd, what more could you ask for?I managed to get a sneak peek at this set from a friend of mine and let me tell you its worth every cent. The picture quality is ok but who really cares its a documentary about Scorsese and Lee! The sound is average but the real meat is of course the information about the making of their films, and bios of their life. I really loved hearing about Goodfellas. This set goes into much more detail then i thought it would. So, i really think that if your a fan of these two guys then their shouldn't even be a thought in your mind except to buy this great dvd. Its worth being in your collection. Trust me, and before I go:"Are you talking at me."(I just had to do it,hee-hee).

Air Force One
You know that old dramatic principle of suspension of disbelief? You'll have to rely on it for this box-office smash, but you won't be disappointed. Harrison Ford plays a U.S. president who single-handedly employs his rigid antiterrorism policy when a band of Russian thugs hatch a mid-flight takeover of Air Force One. Gary Oldman, who chews the scenery as the lead terrorist, will shoot a hostage at the slightest provocation. Glenn Close plays the sternly pragmatic vice president who negotiates with Oldman from her Washington seat of power. If you can believe that the aircraft's pressurized cabin can sustain hundreds of rounds of machine-gun fire, you'll buy anything in this entertaining potboiler, especially thanks to Ford's stalwart heroics and some nifty special effects. Director Wolfgang Petersen (Das Boot) keeps the action moving so fast you won't be sweating the details. Don't forget your parachute! --Jeff Shannon
Das Boot
This is the restored, 209-minute director's cut of Wolfgang Petersen's harrowing and claustrophobic U-boat thriller, which was theatrically rereleased in 1997. Originally made as a six-hour miniseries, this version devotes more time to getting to know the crew before they and their stoic captain (Jürgen Prochnow) get aboard their U-boat and find themselves stranded at the bottom of the sea. Das Boot puts you inside that submerged vessel and explores the physical and emotional tensions of the situation with a vivid, terrifying realism that few movies can match. As Petersen tightens the screws and the submerged ship blows bolts, the pressure builds to such unbearable levels that you may be tempted to escape for a nice walk on solid land in the great outdoors--only you wouldn't dream of looking away from the screen. --Jim Emerson
In the Line of Fire
Between his directorial duties on A Perfect World and The Bridges of Madison County, Clint Eastwood starred in this pulse-racing 1993 thriller. In the Line of Fire was directed by Wolfgang Petersen, the brilliant director of the World War II U-boat masterpiece Das Boot. Eastwood gives one of his best performances as Secret Service agent Frank Horrigan, who still feels responsible for the death of JFK 30 years earlier. Horrigan gets a shot at redemption when challenged by a psychotic but highly intelligent assassin (John Malkovich) who intends to kill the current U.S. president. Tension builds as this intellectual cat-and-mouse game reaches its climactic confrontation, but not before we've seen the killer at work, covering his trail with ruthless precision. Tightly scripted by Jeff Maguire, the film cuts Malkovich loose as one of the most memorable screen villains of the 1990s, and costars Rene Russo as Eastwood's sharp Secret Service colleague and romantic partner. --Jeff Shannon
The Perfect Storm
Setting out for the one last catch that will make up for a lackluster fishing season, Captain Billy Tyne (George Clooney) pushes his boat the Andrea Gail out to the waters of the Flemish Cap off Nova Scotia for what will be a huge swordfish haul. While his crew is gathering fish, three storm fronts (including a hurricane) collide to create a "perfect storm" of colossal force, and Billy's path back to Gloucester, Massachusetts, takes them right smack into the middle of it. Wolfgang Petersen's adaptation of Sebastian Junger's seafaring bestseller is a faithful if by-the-numbers true-story account of a monster storm that rocked New England in 1991, specifically Tyne's commercial fishing boat and its crew. Junger's tale fashioned a compelling if staid narrative out of seemingly disparate events, but this film adaptation tends to flatten out the story into a conventional if absorbing story of man vs. nature, as the crew fights for survival against the awesome waves the storm kicks up. The central part of the film, which cuts between the Andrea Gail's fight to stay afloat and the attempts of the Coast Guard to rescue a yacht in peril, is suspenseful action of the first degree, aided by some awesome computer-generated waves. Still, it's a long way to that action, with an extended first act that consists mainly of stoic men, crying women, and a fair amount of "don't go out into the sea" dialogue--in other words, a compelling story has been shoehorned into standard summer movie fare. It's too bad, as Peterson assembled an excellent cast--including Mark Wahlberg, Diane Lane, John C. Reilly, and William Fichtner among them--but seems to opt for only a surface exploration of these characters, though Clooney seems to have a touch of Captain Ahab in him. You may still be won over by the movie, but for a more in-depth portrait, go to Junger's book for the missing details. --Mark Englehart

I would recommend this if you are a fan of Petersen's work, because this is the best collection of it. Four of Petersen's best works are here: Das Boot, In the Line of Fire, Air Force One, and The Perfect Storm, all in special edition DVDs. A great collection from a great director. First, you get Das Boot, Petersen's harrowing and suspenseful film on a German U-boat during WWII. This movie started his career. (Jurgen Prochnow, the captain, also has a small role in Air Force One). From the naval combat sequences to the character development scenes, Petersen shows his directorial brilliance, makes the film memorable, and carries home an Oscar for his trouble. A very well-made film, I would recommend reading the subtitles, the dubbing is not so good. Next you get In The Line Of Fire, Petersen's magnum opus. Everything is right here. Eastwood steps away from the tough guy role here and plays a very vulnerable, hurting Secret Service agent named Frank Horrigan. The acting is great all-around, with Malkovich playing an ex-CIA man with a mean streak a mile wide who wants to kill the current president. He brings a lot of energy to the table. Rene Russo is Horrigan's fellow agent. Unlike most movies these days, this film has only one love scene, and it doesn't even progress into intercourse. This is good, because whenever a movie has a sex scene, it loses focus. This movie is perfect, an excellent cat-and-mouse film with lots of wit. Love it or leave it, Air Force One is great entertainment. Harrison Ford takes up the old action hero role and, once again, plays it to perfection. The story is about terrorists who take over the Presidential Aircraft, and Ford, as the President, must stop them. A fast-paced, adrenaline filled movie, and very entertaining, Petersen's work should show Hollywood that a movie can be exciting and full of action and smart at the same time. As soon as this movie came out, the Secret Service rushed to say that the situation in the movie is implausible, but how implausible can it be? And finally, The Perfect Storm. I had mixed feelings over this one. Sure, the production values were high, and the camerawork was amazing, even to the point of nausea. The acting was fine. I am not a big fan of Clooney or Wahlberg, but both turned in fine performances, and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio was great here too. The movie took a bit long to set up, and the character development was forgettable. It cannot stand up to Petersen's earlier work. People say you need to suspend your disbelief for Air Force One, but you need it more for this film. How do you keep a blow torch lit in Gale-strength winds? You cannot find someone who falls overboard at night. There's more, but if you don't think too hard, you can have a good time. Conclusion: Four good DVDs at a great price. If you like action or Petersen, this is a must. Action films with a brain, a real rarity these days. If you liked these movies, try Outbreak as well. Another of Petersen's excellent films.

Five--count 'em, five--chances to wallow in the shoot-first, ask-questions-later ethos of San Francisco cop Harry Callahan, who became a signature character for actor Clint Eastwood. The first one, Dirty Harry, is the best, a Don Siegel film in which Harry flouts rules about police brutality to capture a serial killer. In Magnum Force he tracks rogue cops and utters his "Do you feel lucky, punk?" speech. In The Enforcer he gets a female partner (future Cagney and Lacy star Tyne Daly). Sudden Impact featured him tracking a female serial killer and offered a new catch phrase: "Go ahead. Make my day." And The Dead Pool, aside from offering a smart little chase involving a radio-controlled model car, brought him face to face with Liam Neeson. You can't ask for much more firepower in one box than this. --Marshall Fine

I love films like these.Only have the first two though. Hoping for a new box set in the near future with more features.
Husband loved it!.......2007-05-07
They just don't make cop movies like they used to. My favorite part were the 'making of' films for the first three movies. They were narrated by the guy from Dragnet.
Do yourself a favor -- you may find this set cheaper someplace else on the web. But you should buy it here. This was originally my hubbie's Valentine's Day gift. He didn't get it until a month later because I was trying to be cheap. Two other online vendors couldn't deliver (and getting refunds was a nightmare). I ordered it here and three business days later I had it in hand.
Magnificent "CLINT".......2007-01-10
Clint Eastwood as Harry Callahan has style. All 5 movies watched in a sequence are a treat for action fans. Plots are well set & keep you gripped throughout. Never a dull moment. A must buy for action lovers.
