Slick to a fault, this glossy action flick takes place in sunny Florida, where Martin Lawrence and Will Smith play two cops--one married with kids, the other a swinging bachelor. The two are forced to trade places to foil criminal mastermind Fouchet (Tchéky Karyo) who has stolen $100 million worth of heroin from a police lockup. Violent, illogical, and filled with wall-to-wall profanity, Bad Boys was the last film produced by the hit-making team of Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer before Simpson's untimely death, and marked the directorial debut of Michael Bay who followed up with The Rock. Bad Boys will be of interest to action buffs and fans of Téa Leoni, who makes one of her early screen appearances in the central supporting role. --Jeff Shannon

No one goes to a movie directed by Michael Bay for delicacy and grace; you go because Michael Bay (Armageddon, The Rock) knows how to make your bones rattle during a high-speed chase when a car flips over, spins through the air, and smacks another car with a visceral crunch. Bad Boys II fulfills this expectation and then some. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence may be mere puppets amid all this burning rubber and shrieking metal, but they actually provide a human core to the endless cascade of car wrecks and gunfights. Their easy rapport makes their personal problems--a running joke is Lawrence's attempts at anger management--as engaging as the sheer visual hullabaloo of bullets and explosions. The plot is recycled nonsense about drug lords and dead bodies being used to smuggle drugs, but orchestration of violence is symphonic. If that's your thing, then this is for you. --Bret Fetzer

Bad Boys, Whatscha Gonna Do..........2007-06-15
Great movie! The second in the Bad Boys movies. Will Smith adds the comic relief parts into the movie while Martin Lawrence is the serious guy. Lots of action and excitement.
Yeah, its the sequel. Wanna make something of it?,.......2007-06-13
This movie was by far the best action of that summer it came out. Not quite as good as the first, however, in this second `Bad Boys" the action scenes are just ridiculously sweet. Eight years after the success of the first film, the creative talents responsible have reunited and produced a summer action film that delivers. `Bad Boys 2' not only improves on the action content but it sets new standards for buddy cop movies to aspire.
The film continues the adventures of Miami Narcotics cops Mike Lowrey (Will Smith), and Marcus Bennett (Martin Lawrence), as they battle the bad guys and each other to stop a dangerous drug trafficker named Tapia (Jordia Molla') from flooding the streets with his deadly version of Ecstasy and from smuggling millions of dollars out of the country.
While the plot may seem like any other taken from other films in the genre, `Bad Boys 2' benefits from the great chemistry between Smith and Lawrence and the steady flow of action from director Michael bay who keeps the action flowing but never lets it upstage the characters in the film. The action is nonstop and gripping and there are numerous chases in the film that will not only delight but also raises the bar for future films to follow. One such chase had Mike and Marcus in a high-speed pursuit of the bad guys in a stolen car hauler. The scene was awash in action, energy and humor as the two detectives traded barbs with each other and bullets with the bad guys while dodging a vast array of vehicles that had been dropped from the hauler in an effort to stop the pursuit. The stunt work was amazing and it was a scene of masterful creation that kept the adrenaline flowing and the effects were used to enhance the scene without taking center stage away from the human element. This is but one of three main chase scenes in the film and each one was spectacular as it offered something new to what has often become a tired cliché in action films.
The film also had some great moments of humor and a scene in a video store where a frustrated Marcus bares his soul to Mike unaware that there conversation is not private is hysterical as is the scene where the two harass a young man who has come to take Marcus's daughter on a first date. While the action is hot and constant, it should be noted that it is very violent and there are some scenes that upped the ante on graphic violence it is never gratuitous and often appropriate for the situation that it was presented in.It is a good ride the entire movie and the running time of over 2 hours was fine with me. I was waiting for a good action movie from Bay between that time since his latest movies and been somewhat dismal. After tremendous movies like "The Rock" and "Bad Boys, "I waiting for another one, and this was it. Only thing I missed in Bad Boys 2 was the movie theme from the first one by musician Marc Mancina, however, Trevor Rabin did a good job with the music for the action sequences. All in all, this movie kicked end.
What a classic.......2007-05-15
Wow, do I love this movie. I just need to get part I very soon. I got this one as a gift and then it must have gotten stock to someones finger, because it can't be found. But it is a great show and the quality is great, got it in very good time.
Next Gen Lethal Weapon.......2007-03-09
I loved the first bad boys (1994). This movie kind of puts me in the mind of Lethal Weapon. Some may find that this film has tons more action than story and may find themselves in an unpleasant profanity and explosion overdose. But for myself...I love the way Jerry bruckhiemer puts his teams simple ideas into action. Bad boys 2 in my oppinion has a wonderful story and enough action to when you think it's over...it's not. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are hilarious in this movie. Bad boys 2 is very enjoyable...but it's you're looking for a family film...yeah...this isn't it. This one gets 5 stars from me.
We Ride Together, We Die Together...Bad Boys 4 Life.......2007-02-25
This movie was action from beginning to end. This disc was recently broken and I had to immediately replace it. I was rolling the whole entire time. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith have amazing chemistry and Gabrielle Union doesn't hurt the picture either. I can't wait until Bad Boys 3 come out whenever that happens, I will be sure to have my ticket.

A cheerfully over-the-top action film, Bad Boys is notable chiefly for the rapport between its two stars, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, as two Miami cops on the trail of a drug kingpin as they try to protect a witness (Tea Leoni). Smith is the swinging bachelor and Lawrence the family man, and both must juggle their personal lives as they baby-sit the one chance they have to recover a stolen drug shipment, save their jobs, and take down the drug dealer. While the film is almost always implausible and its story is something seen many times before, director Michael Bay (The Rock) keeps things moving stylishly and at a feverish pace, as Smith and Lawrence prove themselves a terrific comic pairing. Their odd couple banter flies at a faster clip than the bullets and explosions, and becomes the best reason to see this hyperbolic but entertaining action flick. --Robert Lane

The Original!.......2007-06-15
What can I say....Lights, camera and ACTION and LAUGHS! A great movie for a great price! The only reason I rated it one less star is that it comes automatically with american subtitles, so each time you want to watch it again (reload) you must go into the menu and turn the subtitles off, or actually it's already set to off, but you must click it.
But for the price I can live with that!
Bad Boys, Bad Boys Whatcha gonna do....,.......2007-06-13
I don't know who encouraged the creative teaming of comedian Martin Lawrence and rapper-turned-actor Will Smith in this big, loud, explosive action-comedy from 1995, but it's certainly an inspired team-up.
"Bad Boys" plays a lot like a collision between every buddy-cop movie we've ever seen, and since many of those ideas were exhausted in what seemed like eons ago, almost nothing here seems fresh. But what keeps the movie afloat is the dynamic interaction between stars Lawrence and Smith. This film, which in 1995 was the latest collaboration between producers Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, the team that was responsible for heavy-hitting Hollywood action vehicles such as "Top Gun" and "Beverly Hills Cop," brought audiences another big blockbuster to rake in the cash.
"Bad Boys," directed by Michael Bay, starred Lawrence and Smith as Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery, a pair of Miami narcotics cops whose careers had been made by a huge heroin bust from a few years earlier. As the film opens, a crack team of vicious thieves/drug dealers led by Fouchet (Tcheky Karyo) breaks into the Miami P.D. headquarters and steals their career-making bust. As a result of this Mess-up, Internal Affairs, specifically a bloodthirsty agent named Sinclair (Marg Helgenberger), comes down hard on the cops' Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano), who's afraid that this theft will become a public relations nightmare. To further complicate matters, Julie Mott (Tea Leoni), a witness to the murder of a close friend of Lowery's that was committed by Fouchet and his thugs, is forced to go into protective custody and results in having the two detectives to have to switch identities until the stolen heroin can be recovered. Burnett and Lowery then go to work to track down the bad guys, the dope, and protect Julie - and they only 72 hours to do it in. And then get ready for the explosions and the action that "Bad Boys" has to serve up to you.
Unlike many people, I like Michael Bay and enjoy all of his films. "Bad Boys" is a good combination of comedy and action. The enjoyment of this movie is mostly due to the great chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The two work so well together you get the feeling that they're real cops. Michael Bay handles his first film well with medium music video shots, and a lot explosion. For the dramatic scenes, he uses slow motion shots to help make the scene real. An interesting info is that pay gave $[...] of his director's fee to make sure he has an explosion at the end of the movie in the drug hanger. "Bad Boys" is an excellent action movie that's certainly entertaining and fun to watch again and again.
Standard fare formula cop drama.......2007-05-13
Nothing unique or original here. The family man cop and the loose canon ladies man cop bust the drug kingpin.A weak story with lots of over-the-top unrealistic gun fights.I expected some Profanity but when there is so much and it is used with such abandon, it becomes pointless. The rest of the dialog is composed of poorly done "ghetto english". 2 stars for the good photography work of Miami.
Enjoyable stuff!.......2006-08-11
Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay make an excellent team! When they work together, explosions rock the screen, profanity is spewed between characters, and corpses far outnumber the amount of lines spoken. This is one of Will Smith's early ventures in film, and to be honest, I think this is his breakthrough role as Mike Lowrey, a playboy cop with a taste for gritty gunfights. Martin Lawrence is hilarious as Mike's partner, Marcus Burnett, a family man whose gig constantly interferes with his family life. Tea Leoni is okay, but not great, and her role seems a bit weird, as though it was just randomly stuck in the plot. The bad guy is a typical villain, with few lines and a thick accent. The action scenes are, of course, Bruckheimer-worthy, and so you wont be disappointed. The cinematography adds to the film's good parts. Overall, a movie that is fun, brainless stuff.
pretty fun action .......2006-07-05
This movie is very fun and full of action. If you can get past the cursing, it's well worth it. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are almost too much fun as cop partners who go deep undercover to recover stolen police evidence (drugs). Tea Leoni is also hilarious in the film and serves as a great counterpoint to the cocky buddy cops.

Prior to starring in the hard-edged 1983 drama Bad Boys, Sean Penn had proven his early promise in the TV movie The Killing of Randy Webster, played a memorable supporting role in Taps (with fellow newcomer Tom Cruise), and created the definitive California surfer dude as the perpetually stoned Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. But it was Bad Boys that cemented Penn's reputation as a rare talent--an actor whose skill transcended his youth, revealing a depth and maturity that the majority of his acting peers could only aspire to. That gravity and emotional dimension is evident throughout Penn's performance here as Mick O'Brien, a chronic offender whose path to a Chicago juvenile corrections facility seems utterly preordained. The institution is hardly conducive to reformation--it's a jail for problem kids, and a cauldron for all the societal ills that sent kids there in the first place. Mick's there because he was involved in a shootout during a botched robbery of drugs from rival street gangster Paco Moreno (Esai Morales), whose little brother was killed when Mick accidentally ran him over with his getaway car.
Overcrowding results in Mick and Paco's being sent to the same facility (one of the film's few stretches of credibility), and this leads to a rather predictable showdown that will take the juvie prison's violence to its inevitable extreme. It's a shame this conclusion ultimately doesn't live up to the film's superior first hour, but Bad Boys remains a remarkably authentic, even touching portrait of troubled youth whose torment is conveyed through thoughtful and richly emotional development of characters. Director Rick Rosenthal (who had previously helmed Halloween II) maintains a vivid sense of setting within the correctional facility's cold walls, and through the performances of Penn and a superb supporting cast (including Ally Sheedy in her film debut as Mick's girlfriend), Bad Boys emerges as one of the best films of its kind, forcing the viewer to ask difficult questions about at-risk youth and the proper way to improve or at least preserve their endangered lives. --Jeff Shannon
Customer Reviews:
Bad Boy, Bad Boy Whatcha Gonna Do?.......2007-06-05
The first hour or so of this movie Kayos Will Smith's and Marty-Mart's later Bad Boy efforts. Unfortunately it does slow down once the charactor Horowitz is removed.
Unintentional humor is found throughout: Horowitz chowline scene whacking Viking with the tray, Willie-Man doing the stealth shotgun run in the beginning, Horowitz going to solitaire yelling "you can't do this to me" and another prisoner coming back with "Oh yes he can!"
Sean Penn gave us a preview of his winning portrayal of an Irish hood to come in "STATE OF GRACE". An excellent job of understated emotion (which anyone knows is how you survive while incarcerated) until the very end when the enormity of the situation appeared to finally wash over Mick.
Clancy Brown as Viking made a name for himself with me and my crew forever - No matter what else he's appeared in it's always "yo, that's Viking -- I wonder what happened to Tweetie?" Isn't that the essence of an outstanding acting job?
A winner of the 80's that because of the lack of flying blood, explosions and automatic weapons doesn't get as much credit in this decade.
It was a good movie!.......2007-04-02
First of all, I wasn't a huge Sean Penn fan at the time. However, with that being said, this movie made me a huge fan after I saw it. Frankly, with the exception of "Mystic River" and "I am Sam" this has got to be my favorite right among those. Don't let me forget, Esai Morales also does a great job as well. I think this movie was ahead of it's time, and it opened the door for a lot of prison dramas of this genre. With that being said, I do think that there's a lot more to prison than what was shown. I don't think they showed all of the brutality in it's fullness that goes along with prison life. I think they showed just enough for you to get the point, but it wasn't as explicit or raunchy as a lot of other films. I wouldn't call this a classic, but it did show that Sean Penn has what it takes to be taken seriously after playing "Jeff Spicoli" in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" which was more teen comedy fun, and way less edgy or gritty than this.
Bad Boys.......2007-03-15
If you like prison, jail, or revenge movies then this is a good movie to watch. Sean Penn and Esai Morales are up-and-coming actors in this sad, but realistic movie about troubled teens growing up in the tough streets of New York who get caught up in a chain of events and eventually end up in the same youth corrections facility and are out for revenge on each other. I thought it was a good movie.

the stupid movies are in wide screen and it says nothing about that in the discription or on the boxes for that matter. bad boys 1 is not that bad tha ratio only dropes an inch on each end but 2 is horndus with about a 2.5" black stripe top and bottem
Bay! A Genius Emerges.......2006-09-28
While I thought this movie was silly ... and the script was particulary ridiculous ... also the performances were competent but not transcendant ... and the whole identity confusion thing was unnecessary, but I guess when the script and story are so thin you have to find something to fill the 90 minutes. So yes, this movie is severely flawed and not worth anyone's time to see it, but (and it's a big but) you can see the genius of Michael Bay working his way through the film. Little things: the placement of a trash can, the bangles on Tea Leoni's wrist, the use of slow motion, when it doesn't seem called for. The rest of it is really intangible and I don't know whether he did this before or after that terrific Lionel Richie video he did, but there's a certain uncomprehensible quality that just screams ... Bay = Genius. So again, I would see this only if you consider yourself a Bayophile. Even then, you'll not like it, but you'll appreciate what Bay tried to do, even though everyone else let him down.
Put Your Money on the Bad Boys!.......2005-11-06
The bad boy duo that you once witnessed took it there, and were back to take it there again. These thrillers are action packed from beginning to end. Bad Boys and Bad Boys II are must haves in every DVD collection.
In the premiering Bad Boys movie, detective Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) of the Miami Police Department partner up to take on a mission to retrieve 100 million dollars worth of missing cocaine and save the Narcotics Department from being shut down. When their jobs are on the line, a couple of murderers and a witness will only make them focus on putting their "bad boy" skills to work.
In the sequel, Bad Boys II, there is more action and a bigger crime to be investigated. Between the emotional and short fused personality of Marcus and the calm but aggressive behavior of Mike, negative issues in their partnership are on the rise. Issues hit a climax when Marcus is revealed a shocking secret about his sister Sydney, who works for the DEA, and Mike's affair. But not a bullet, some ecstasy pills, or a few crashed cars will stop these two detectives from fulfilling their prestigious bad boy reputation.
If you recall, when Bad Boys was released in 1995, Sony Productions made a total gross profit of $68,647,413. Bad Boys II opened in 2003 and made a total gross profit of $138,608,444. Director Michael Bay shot and hit the target of most American movie consumers. Both movies did very successful.
Some final words for all action seekers. If you have it, keep it. If you want it, go get it. If you've never seen it, rent it. Because once you watch it, you will not regret the purchase.
Actioned Packed Combo.......2005-10-14

These two movies are very good movies that should be in everyone's collection. There's a wesome action, great comedy, and 2 just awesome movies. They both involve Martin Lawrence and Will Smith as cops who have to deal with crime. They work so well together and that makes the movie even more likeable. They're just a great duo. Both movies delivered great laughs and explosive and memorable action scenes.
But, I have to say that I loved the 2nd one and liked it a lot better than the original. The second one had great humor and some of the most awesome action scenes and chases ever! I mean, you have no idea what cool is if you didn't see Bad Boys 2.
There are big guns, and sweet cars( Ferrari Marrinello, Caddilac, Hummer H2) in beautiful locations. Believe me, the action, chases and humor are great.
The only downsider to me and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the language and some unnecessary scenes. But I mean the language is pervasive with a lot of F words being used. But besides that, it's great. The opening scene of Bad Boys II is awesome!
Whit Guy: White Power!!! White Power!!!
Martin Lawrence: Blue Power Mother Fu****

Good but, I saw all skits .......2007-03-23
in original episodes. even Chris Rock who is not often funny was funny in these skits. Would only watch once. No subtitles.
Bad Boys interactive.......2006-11-10
I'd purchased the VHS version a few years ago, and still decided to get the DVD version because this is a keeper! VHS doesn't keep well in 95% humidity all year round so the DVD was a welcome.
There's a little bit more on the DVD not seen on the VHS - wonderful surprises. I believe there are many reviews of this title from its VHS days, so I'll refrain from commenting along those lines.
Still, great to see the Bad Boy again and again and again... this time around - in a more efficient interactive way!
The're Bad To The Bone.......2005-04-13
As one revwer already pointed out, this is the first dvd to focus on more than one cast member from "Saturday Night Live". Here, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock and Chris Farley get some of their best roles represented. (Farley, Sandler and Rock also have their own individual best of's as well).
Since this dvd does not represnt the single best moments of one cast member, my review will be structured like my one for the "Halloween" dvd. Here it goes:
Total Bastard Airlines - Spade and host Helen Hunt play ride flight attendants who swiftly shun off their cast members with the phrase "ba - bye". It's a one joke premise, but it's still very funny and a great way to get the ball rolling. 10/10
Il Cantore- even as an Italian, I found this sketch to be uproarious. Spade, Sandler, Farley, Mike Myers and Dana Carvey play sex - crazed waiters at an Italian restaurant who get it on with Kirstie Alley, much to her delight but to the dismay of husband Kevin Nealon. This sketch proves that the old "SNL" theory "stereotypes are funny" works, and this is no exception. 10/10
The Gap Girls - out of these recurring characters' seven appearances, this one is probably my favorite. While Christy (Spade), Lucy (Sandler) and Cindy (Chris Farley) are having lunch at Tater Junction, their invaded by Tammy (Schneider) and Misty (Sarah Gilbert), who poke fun at the girls. This sketch was so funny the whole way through, and even the court tv jokes still seem funny today (and so do the Michael Jsckson jokes, which is agiven). 10/10
Def ER Jam - in this 1996 parody of Russell Simmons' "Def Comedy Jam", Rock plays a foul mouthed nurse who shouts out politically incorrect words at will. How sweet. 10/10
The Richmeister - my favorite "Saturday Night Live" character may well be Schneider's lovable office pest Richard Laymer. Here, he makes his first appearance, annoying coworkers Tom (Mike Myers), Randy (Kevin Nealon), Sandy (Julia Sweeney), Steve (Phil Hartman) and Sting (played by, well, Sting). My favorite sketch. 10/10
Schmit's Gay - a classic ad spoof with Sandler and Farley as housesitters who with one sip turn an old rundown home into a homosexual paradise. The shots of tight bulges andall male conga lines may be a little much, but it's still a 10/10 sketch.
Dick Clark's Receptionist - Spade's breakthrough role was as Dick Clark's snooty receptionist, who made every guest wait and shut them up with his condescending "and you are..."? Here, he shoots ut catty one liners to Roseanne, who proves to be an excellent foil. It got really funny when Phil Hartman came in as Jesus. 10/10
The Chris Farley Show - Chris stumbles through an interview with Jeff Daniels. It was this childilike attitude that made Farley so lovable, and why we miss him so much. 10/10
Canteen Boy - Sandler's recurring character, the 27 year old boy scout, is featured in the controversial scoutmaster sketch with Alec Baldwin. In it, Baldwin spills water on Sandler's sleeping bag, forcing him to share one with him. Baldwin tries to cajole Sandler into having sex with him. Bsldwin goes too far, and Sandler manages to escape by having Baldwin attacked by snakes. This sketch is so wrong on so many levels (the scen where Baldwin sodomizes Sandler may be a little much fro some people)
< yet it's so funny. 10/10
Big Toe Song - a tounge in cheek Boys II Men knock - off, Rock and Tim Meadows play lead singers of G - Spot, who perform their hit "Big Toe Song". The video for this song is raunchy as hell and it's hilarious. 10/10
Chris Rock On Update Highlights - bits and pieces of Rock's "Weekend Update" commentaries, all of which are raw and witty. 10/10
Spade In America - from Spade's last episode, he presents a clipshow of his "Hollywood Minute" bits. Hysterical, especially the MC Hamer joke, though I ish they had the Rick Ocasek joke (Hey Rick why the long face?) 10/10
Opera Man Highlights - more clips, this time Sandler as his popular "Update" characterwho sings about the news story. This is possibly the dvd's best sketch, other than the Richmeister. 10/10
Hanukkah Song - Sandler's three part holiday classic made its debut on Decmeber 10th, 1994 on "Weekend Update". This edition is my favorite, especially the line about Ebineezer Scrooge. 10/10
Nikey Turkey Commercial - a parody of those Nike pump sneaker with Rockas a rapping spokesman. Very good. 10/10
The Denise Show - Sandler plays Brian, a man obsessed with his ex - girlfriend and hists a tv show about itt. This sketch even in a rather disturbing sort of way. 10/10
Orgasm Guy - finally, Schneider appears again. Here he plays a man named Ron, a guy who's turned on by everything, from Jonathan Demme films to Setchuan foods. 10/10
Def Jam Magic Show - another Def Jam spoof, with foul mouth from Rock. The dialogue between Tim Meadows and Ellen Cleghorne is especially intersting. 10/10
Zagat's - this at one pint was my favorite "SNL" sketch. Sandler and Farley play the Gelfands, an old Jewish couple. Farley annoyingly reads restaurant choices for their 35th anniversary in the Zagat's guide, much to Sandler's annoyance. David Duchovny was really funny as Farley's sister. 10/10
The Dark Side With Nat X -Rock's most popular recurring character, militant Nat X, appears in a 1996 hosting stint, hassling Jesse Jackson (Darrell Hammond), Tori Spelling (Cheri Oteri) and Mike Tyson (Tracy Morgan). Great way to end it all. 10/10
The bonus sketches are really funny, especially "Sapde In America" with Jennifer Anniston.
There are some sketches that I wish were one here. For example, I wish they included the sketch where Schneider is the owner of the African artifacts shop who sells artifacts used to stash marijuana. Also, a Matt Foley sketch with Farley would have been nice. Also, the majority of these sketches are featured on other dvds, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it.
Overall, this is such a great dvd. Now here's the next dvd collection of "SNL" dvds I would like to see:
"Saturday Night Live: The Women". It would have:
"The Best Of Cheri Oteri" (this aired on tv in Spetember yet hasn't been released yet)
"The Best Of Jan Hooks"
"The Best Of Ana Gasteyer"
"The Best Of Gilda Radner"
"The Best Of Jane Curtain"
"The Best Of Victoria Jackson"
"The Best Of Laraine Newman"
"The Best Of Molly Shannon" (which I already have)
and
"Saturday Night Live: The Hosts":
"The Best Of Tom Hanks" (this aired on tv as well but hasn't seen the light of day on dvd)
"The Best Of John Goodman"
"The Best Of Alec Baldwin"
"The Best Of Christopher Walken" (which I have)
"The Best Of Steve Martin" (which I also have)
"The Best Of Buck Henry" (this should really please the old fans of the show)
"Saturday Night Live: The First Five Years":
"The Best Of Dan Akroyd"
"The Best Of John Belushi"
"The Best Of Garret Morris"
"The Best Of Chevy Chase"
"The Best Of Bill Murray"
"The Best Of Laraine Newman"
"The Best Of Gilda Radner"
"The Best Of Jane Curtain"
And here are just a few random best - of's:
"The Best Of Kevin Nealon"
"The Best Of Jon Lovitz" (this again aired on tv but is not on dvd)
"The Best Of Phil Hartman, Volume 2"
"The Best Of Will Ferrell, Volume 3" (volume 2 really blew)
"The Best Of David Spade" (which is coming out this fall)
Bottom line: pick up "Bad Boys".
Beware!.......2005-03-03
This is all funny stuff from some of the old-time SNL crew, but a word of caution; I bought this DVD specifically because I wanted a copy of the skit where Woody Harrelson incites other cast members to take their shirts off at the beach. This is one of the funniest SNL skits EVER, and is on the VHS version, but for some reason it didn't make it onto the DVD. I won't be sending my DVD back, but I was very disappointed at the inexplicable cutting of this skit from the DVD version.
Hilarious.......2004-04-03
When one sees the opening sketch, "Total Bastard Airlines", one is suddenly reminded of the wit and humor that "SNL" skits once possessed...This is the first "Best Of" dvd to be devoted to more than one cast member. Here, 5 cast members get their due: Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock and Chris Farley. And it stays true to the title, showing each cast member at their raunchiest.
Sandler seems to get the most coverage, appearing in about half the sketches. His are probably my favorite. I enjoyed every minute of his sketches, from "Operaman" to "Canteen Boy" to "The Hanukkah Song", I laughed my pants off. I only wish they'd included "Cajun Man" and "The Present Song".
Spade gets some coverage as well. In addition to a well - thawed "Hollywood Minute Montage", he captures the audience with his witty sarcasm in "Total Bastard Airlines" and the one in which he plays Dick Clark's snotty receptionist who is able to absorb catchy comebacks from Roseanne Barr.
Scheider does not appear that often, but when he does, you can't help but laugh. He seems to be at his best when he is doing his famed Richmeister (makin' copies) sketch with Sting. But he's even funnier in "The Gap Girls" and "Orgasm Guy".
Unfortunately, Rock and Farley do not get as much coverage, but when they appear, they steal the show. Rock's "Nat X" and editorials are some of the freshest and rawest humor "Saturday Night Live"'s writers ever came up with. Farley outshines the rest with his interview wuith Jeff Daniles and his chubby Gap Girl.
It's especially funny when more than one cast member works together in the same sketch. Schneider and Sandler have a ball playing sex - crazed Italian waiters pining for Kirstie Alley at "Il Cantore" alongside a showstoppingly funny Dana Carvey. And Sandler and Farley are just to funny for this world in the uproarious "Zagat's".
I recommend this dvd to just about every "SNL" fan in the world. It features some extremely funny stuff, some of which is all too underrated. I hope to see a dvd in the future devoted to women of "Saturday Night live", like Jan Hooks, Molly Shannon, and Tina Fey.

Customer Reviews:
Bad Boys, Good Comedy.......2006-10-05
I really thought that Diddy's attempt at a stand up comedy show would fall to its knees but I thought wrong. One thing that Sean Combs does well is picking out good talent. Some of the talent he picks doesn't make it for example the 1000 or so bands he's tried to complete but he and his team were pretty much dead on. Best of all these guys are comics on the come up and they're hungry to make the crowd laugh though some of them I've seen on Comic View. Even better the comics seen in other shows like Comic View use different material and if by chance they use something you've heard before they spice it up a little bit. Diddy doesn't discriminate though there isn't that many female comics, he uses comedians with all types of backgrounds but it doesn't matter as long as they're funny. I love that Doug E. Fresh is the host because he does it properly. One thing I hate is that every comic is wearing Sean John but the comics crack some jokes about that mostly because they don't care if they wear it because it's free. I gave Bad Boys Of Comedy 4 stars because there are a couple comics that weren't cutting it but not enough people to keep you from enjoying the show. Overall this is a hilarious series it's hard to give examples of the jokes cause the ones I remember most cant be said.
P. Diddy does it again!!!!.......2006-03-24
Funny!!! Funny!!! Funny!!! that's what I can say... this is a great look at future comics in the international scene. Many of the comics viturally unkowns, but deliver a great time... I watched it with my friends and they loved it...
I hope HBO continues this series.... much like the early DefComedy Jam, this one delievers... These are your up can coming cemedic greats....Keep it up Diddy!!!
Nice up and comers.......2006-01-26
I saw this series on HBO and it was hot. First just to say, everyone won't laugh at all the comedians...that's just the way the business is. My favorite was Will E. Robo who you will laugh at nonstop, as long as you don't mind risque content. One guy does an awesome Ruben impression, and the Denzel guy was good too. Look closely and you can see Babs and the other singer from Da Band in the audience. Hot
Diddy suprised me.......2005-12-06
First off, let me say that Diddy's last ventures have not been good. I saw this DVD in the store and walked by it a few times but then I decided on getting it and let me tell you that i was shocked. It was actually funny and Diddy doesn't even host it (Doug E. Fresh is the host). The show is taped in Brooklyn, N.Y, and the audience is just as much fun as the actual comics. Now some of the comedians weren't all that funny but it wasn't like there was ever a silent momment. There was even a comic who bought a slice of cheesecake from Junior's in a spoof to make fun of a episode from Making the Band where Diddy made the contestants walk all the way to junior's for a slice of cheesecake. There were comics on there that I had never seen or heard of before but they were so funny! I would definitely recommend this especially with Christmas around the corner. I gave it 4 stars because there were no female comics other than that, I enjoyed it.
It was....funny..........2005-11-25
Yeah, it was funny. You have over 30 comedians stand before a LIVE audience and deliever their material. First of all, I am a big fan of stand up comedy so I bought this DVD without hesitation. There are a few comedians featured on here who you never heard of or seen before. Some of them, you probably have seen them on Comic View.
I must admit, all the comedians on here wasn't all that funny. At the same time, none of the comedians WASN'T downright terrible. Every comedian at least made me smile or chuckle and some others made me LAUGH OUT LOUD!
I was going to give it 3 stars but 3 stars is Average and it's just a tad bit above average but it wasn't worth 5 stars, maybe next season.
So, if you're in the mood to laugh, go ahead and check this out or rent it from your local Blockbuster or somewhere. It has some behind the scenes footage too, which was interesting but I'm waiting to see how Season 2 will turn out.
P.S. All the comedians brought energy to the stage so it really doesn't get dull, just some of the comedian's jokes didn't go over too well with the view audience.
P.S. There is one guy on here named Reggie Reg who does a Denzel Washington impression and he sounds just like the real Denzel. He has the voice and mannerisms to the t. You have to see to judge for yourself.

Customer Reviews:
A rare treat.......2007-06-03
I can't understand why this nifty DVD has gotten so little attention. It seems like it's been rare since it first came out, has no reviews but mine on here, and is already discontinued! But if you like seeing beautiful women playing basketball and football in their birthday suits, this is great stuff! There don't seem to be many DVDs out there where women are actually playing sports nude, either. As, the recent "Playboy's Women of World Soccer" has got lots of sexy segments of posing, taking showers, and so on, but the only soccer going is is a little kicking around in the yard for show. But on NUDE FOOTBALL/NUDE BASKETBALL, they're really playing those sports about 90% of the time. Nikki Nova is the only lady on here I know by name, but I recognize several of the others, and they're all plenty hot. If you saw NUDE POOL PARTY, another good one by DGD, several of them here are on that one too.
Both games start with warm-ups, where the players are topless, then they get totally nude during the games. The basketball segment is the better of the two. The football segment has a lot of shadows in much of the picture, which causes lighting problems as the cameras try to compensate for the contrast. And on the football part, the girls take a lot longer to get totally nude. Well, in both games they DO keep tennis shoes on, so technically they're never TOTALLY nude. Both segments have hot female announcers, who gradually shed their clothing too. Also on both parts, the camerawork is not top-notch, with too few cameras in use resulting in a lot of jittery panning, uneven zooming in and out, and not much choice on which film to use for a shot. Still, it's fairly decent camerawork and picture quality. The whole DVD runs nearly 2 hours, which is very generous for this type of program. The slide show bonus is fair.
In sum, NUDE FOOTBALL/NUDE BASKETBALL is far from perfect, but if you like seeing ladies play sports in the buff, this is one of the best I've seen, and I sure wish I had been there to join in the fun!!

Bad Boys PSP UMD Movie MODEL- 11836 VENDOR- UMD MOVIE FEATURES- Bad Boys PSP Movie Miami cops Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are two loose cannons who tear up the Sunshine State in search of stolen drugs. Co-starring Tea Leoni. Explosive direction by Michael Bay (Armageddon). Former video director Michael Bay had his first big hit with this action comedy, which also returned producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson to the big-budget, high-violence movies that they successfully churned out in the 80s. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are two Miami cops who watch as 100 million dollars in heroin, from the biggest drug bust of their careers, is stolen out of the basement of police headquarters. This puts them hot on the trail of French drug lord Fouchet (Tch ky Karyo), who leaves a trail of bodies in his wake and only one witness, Julie Mott (T a Leoni), who quickly teams up with our heroes. Comic hijinks ensue when plot complications force Mike to impersonate the married Marcus, to the point of moving in with his wife and children, while Marcus takes over Mikes bachelor pad and lifestyle. Car chases, snappy one-liners, and nonstop pacing fuel this umpteenth variation on the cop "buddy" formula. -- SPECIFICATIONs ----------------------------------- MPAA Rating : R Genre : Action Comedy, Action Thriller, Buddy Film Theatrical Date : 1995 Run Time : 119 minutes Distributor/Studio: Sony Pictures a http://sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_BrowseCatalog-Start;sid=IM9RrHcFL1dR2jXO_2Bbp
