          This movie was pretty painful to watch, and I am a huge Corey & Corey fan. There are some pretty ridiculous soft core porn scenes with corey feldman that are borderline disturbing... The movie is not funny, makes little sense (and I usually enjoy movies that dont make any sense), and it just plain terrible. Looks like something skin-a-max would show at 3am... Dont buy this unless you just have to have every corey feldman film.

          I was very disappointed with this movie. The box cover compares it to Airplane & Naked Gun which are funny movies. This movie is not funny it is stupid. They TRY to be funny with crappy site gags and over the top dialog that just annoy the viewer. And I mean everyone I let watch it. Save your money and buy a good comedy that you can laugh at cause this one ain't it. It's about a Z grade at best. I gave it one star because that was the lowest number I could set it to but it should be a minus 10 star movie

          Being labelled as "The Definitive DVD," Alien Ant Farm's "BUSted" attempts to collect each and every thing Alien Ant Farm related, since their beginnings in 1996, all in one place. From their music videos -- of which, there are plenty -- to the obligatory on-the-road/in-the-studio documentary, to a complete concert, all you could ever want is in this one disc.

          "Road To Wreckage" is a lengthy documentary that spans the band's career up until this point. Despite lacking more recent footage (perhaps due to label problems and missing members), this section more than makes up for it, by capturing AAF's early years really well. Unlike most band doc's, however, this one doesn't have much of a narrative or a direction, and mainly feels like a big party -- complete with WAY too much nudity. The mood gets slightly heavy when the group's infamous bus-crash in 2002 is brought up, but not enough to kill the mood. Look out for cameos from James Hetfield (Metallica) and members of 311, Papa Roach (who helped sign the band) and Linkin Park.

          "Live In Germany" is a professionally-shot concert captured on February 13, 2002, and as such, it revolves mostly around material from "ANThology." The band does, however, break out a preview for the following album, "TruANT" in "S.S. Recognize" and even busts out the "Spider-Man" inspired tune, "Bug Bytes." As hinted at in the previous documentary, this DVD has been in the works for quite some time, so it's no wonder we don't have a more recent show to watch.

          Finally, we have music videos, of which, there are plenty. From the three versions of their first single, "Movies" to "These Days" -- which finds the band performing everywhere, from a Gay Pride Parade to the BET awards -- not a moment is missed. Three videos from the new album, "Up In The Attic," -- "Forgive And Forget," "Around The Block" and "She's Only Evil" -- are extremely low budget and almost seem to be a parody of how obsolete conventional music videos have become.

          Overall, it's an excellent little package, with few complaints. First off, maybe it's just my copy, but I could not get the subtitles off. At all. Which means, even during the music videos, I have the band's commentary being spelled out for me on the bottom of the screen. Also, as great as their sense of humor is, it would have been nice to see another side of the band. Regardless though, it's still a trip, and a worthy release. If you want to watch four guys have the time of their lives on the road and you really can't get enough Alien Ant Farm, you'll really dig this DVD.

          4 out of 5 stars A Good Bang For Your Buck.......2006-07-26

          I thought Alien Ant Farm were joking around by calling BUSted a "definitive" DVD, but they kid you not. This DVD (unlike most music DVDs I've watched) is absolutely FILLED with stuff, spanning the band's entire career, even pre-ANThology. The odd part is that it goes for a relatively low price everywhere I've checked. Some concert DVDs go for 35 bucks, but Alien Ant Farm gives you a full concert filmed in Germany, every music video they've made (including unreleased alternate versions and commentary from Dryden and Mike), and a documentary featuring recording sessions, live clips, and lots of footage of the band just kidding around. If you don't like seeing male nudity every 5 minutes, then you might want to skip this part...

          Anyway, the DVD is great and is a must-have for any Alien Ant Farm fan. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's missing some important television performances that are only hinted at in the documentary, the documentary feels unnecessarily lengthy at times, and Mike's commentary on the videos is almost impossible to hear. The only way you can tell what he's saying is by turning the subtitles on.

          To put it bluntly, the film is great. The story is about family and how nobody can pull these two (Terry and Ray) apart... at least that's how Terry sees it. Along the way, Ray's little UK Garage style dance group finally gets the chance to do a show at a big club but under what consequence? The story has great plot twists making you wonder who is really behind all the killing which is later revealed in a voicemail that Ray receives at the end of the film.

          The film features a good soundtrack, mostly UK Garage and breakbeat style tracks. It's too bad we didn't hear any DnB or Jungle. The image of the gangsters is quite solid with their nice armored black cars with bangin sound systems. Bowie's performance is good and in the intro you get to see his eyes in their true form and up close... one eye dilated and the other not.

          Overall, in this genre of film, it's top notch... especially if you can relate to the nuances and scene that this is placed in. If you're not all that into UK urban culture or gangster flicks, it might not make a good flick to check, but otherwise... HIT IT UP!

          Goldie and David Bowie star in this gritty crime thriller. The film opens with Ray (Andrew Goth) and Terry (Goldie) getting released from jail. The two are cousins, long-time friends, and fellow gang members. Ray wants to go straight, have a family and a real job. Terry wants to get back in the business and does so with a life of crime. He makes a killing selling drugs to school kids, enlarges his already sizeable arsenal, and intimidates all who encroach on his turf, especially a mysterious Chinese gang. During Terry's incarceration, gang matters were left to the button-down super-efficient dealings of Bernie (Bowie); after his release, tensions between the two thugs rapidly build. Seeing Ray's return to the straight life as weakness, the evil jealous Terry kidnaps and tortures Ray's girlfriend. Ray resolves to get revenge and an ultra-violent shoot out soon ensues.The ending shall leave you in suspense......

          5 out of 5 stars Ruff gangsta bizness.......2003-01-02

          This quintessentially British movie will prob. leave many Americans confused... but its a terrific film! Called "Everybody Loves Sunshine" in the rest of the world, Busted tells the tale of two half-brothers who start (or try to) new lives after prison. One returns whole-hog to crime, while the other gets caught up in the Garage-club scene and starting a performance group.
          There's a quasi-sexual tension between Goth and Goldie, but nothing overtly obvious... this is really not that kind of movie.
          Bowie plays his business-manager villain expertly. Cold, calculated and ruthless. It's brilliant!
          US audiences will undountedly find the ruff accents to be difficult at times to understand, but the movie captures the grim reality of UK gang wars very well - gangsta life is not a uniquely American thing, after all!
          The soundtrack is brilliant, featuring some really nice Jungle, Garage and Ragga sounds... its too bad that this is not available in the States. :-(
          Highly recommended for fans of British criminal movies.

          I watched BUSTED because I saw it advertised somewhere and so I went out to buy it. BUSTED is very good movie. The action, story line, and the music was good. I was a little disapointed that David Bowie's music wasn't heard. Because I watched BUSTED I am now a Goldie fan. I have most of his CDs. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes action, Goldie or Bowie. Oh and Andrew Goth is really cute he also directed this film.

          Stylish low budget UK gangsta picture set in Manchester: drum'n'bass and ragga soundtrack with bass at realistic nightclub/car audio volumes (at least on the DVD version). Expect your subwoofer(s) to get a good workout, and things to fall off the walls. Maybe the boy-band-ish dance act is a little cheesy, but the violence and bass make up for it.

          While the sound on the DVD is excellent, the video is full-screen (4:3) only, and not very sharp. Some of the text in the credits is nearly illegible. See the forum for this movie at IMDB for a transcription of the soundtrack listing.

              Wrestling Gold Collection 1: Busted Open, part I of a V part series, collects vintage wrestling matches from the 1970's and 1980's. This particular volume contains 11 matches.

              Along with the matches this volume also contains two biographical sketches, one for Shawn Michaels, a modern day legend, and one for Dave Meltzer, the noted wrestling journalist who hosts this video series.

              Though the collection is referred to as "Wrestling Gold" perhaps a better name for it would have been "The Best of Southwest Championship Wrestling" which is where it seems all of these matches were pulled from.

              Here's a rundown of the matches featured on this volume:

              1. Sheri Martel vs. Judy Martin: SCW women's match. Sheri Martel may be better known to contemporary fans as "Sensational Sheri," "Queen Sheri" (from the WWF) or "Sistah Sheri" (from WCW). It's a decent match given this time period. 3 ½ stars.

              2. Shawn Michaels vs. Ken Johnson: From Texas All-Star Wrestling. This is Shawn Michaels rookie season and it shows (tons of baby fat, and no where near as cocky as his later incarnation). Not a bad effort but it is obvious Michaels was VERY green. It's an interesting look for any Heartbreak Kid fan. 3 stars.

              3. Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez vs. the Grapplers: For the SCW tag team titles. Blanchard went on to achieve greater fame as a cornerstone member of the 4 Horsemen (along with Flair, Anderson and Windham) in the late 80's. Hernandez was a Texas legend. Overall, this is a great old-school tag match with a great twist at the end. 4 stars.

              4. Tully Blanchard vs. Gino Hernandez: SCW Grudge Match. No commentary in this one so it was a little hard to follow along. Decent match though. 3 stars.

              5. Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. vs. Adrian Adonis: For the Heavyweight Title. Special guest ring announcer is the legendary Lou Thesz (thought by many as the greatest champion of all-time). Both of these men went on to achieve greater fame in the mid 1980's WWF. Great scientific wrestling match. Again, no commentary on this one. 4 stars.

              6. Bruiser Brody vs. Abdullah the Butcher: Loooooooong before ECW (a good twenty plus years or so), these two brutal brawlers "pioneered" the popular hardcore style that ECW made famous. Here is an example of one of there legendary brawls, joined in progress. 4 stars.

              7. Larry Zbysko vs. Scott Casey: SWC vs. Georgia match. Match joined in progress. Zbysko (the Living Legend, known to many contemporary fans as the former WCW Nitro announcer) is representing Georgia and Scott Casey is representing SWC. Decent match. All-star post match brawl with Eric Embry, Tully Blanchard and Stan Hansen. 3 ½ stars.

              8. Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Bob Sweetan: Dubbed as a SWC "Piledriver vs. Piledriver" match. Lawler is of course a living legend in this business, known by most contemporary fans as the former "pervert WWF Raw announcer." This is actually your typical Lawler match, more mouth than action, believe me. DUD.

              9. Terry Funk and Ivan Putski vs. Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez: SCW tag team title match. Terry Funk (boy does he look YOUNG in here) is of course the living hardcore legend who is STILL at it today. Ivan Putski was one of the top stars back in the 70's (POLISH POWER!!!). This is an okay match. Big post-match brawl featuring Ricky Morton (of Rock N' Roll Express fame) and Ken Lucas. 2 3/4 stars.

              10. Dick Slater vs. The Mongolian Stomper, Guest Ref Bob Sweetan: SCW Cage Match. Really slooooow start but it picks up halfway through. Okay match. Big post-match beatdown afterwards. 3 stars.

              11. Bruiser Brody vs. Nick Bockwinkle, Guest Ref Lou Thesz: AWA Heavyweight Title match. Match joined in progress. Great old school match between defending champ Bockwinkle, the scientific genius vs. the challenger, old-school brawler, Brody. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is Bockwinkle's manager. 4 stars.

              Overall, this is a pretty decent DVD. Here's my rundown:

              Good: Seeing all the old-school superstars

              Bad: Only TWO biographies??? If they really wanted to immortalize the older legends of the sport it should have been THEIR biographies on the CD (ALL of them) as opposed to a contemporary star like Shawn Michaels or Dave Meltzer (the guy who promotes this DVD series), who comes off as simply "patting himself on the back."

              Ugly: The commentary by Cornette and Meltzer is overrated but okay. They do an OKAY job of introducing the matches and placing them in context of the feuds and time, BUT they neglect to mention important details such as the DATES of these contests. It's something they should mention, plus it should have ALSO been noted on the box.

              Uglier: Some of the matches without commentary were pretty difficult to follow like the Blanchard vs. Hernandez match. Also, I really didn't like the "match joined in progress" bit we got with several of these matches. It almost feels like we've been "partially gypped."

              Downright Pitiful: The countless shameless plugs on the DVD for Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, website and Internet radio show. (It's plugged at the end of the DVD and also under the special features).

              Overall, this is a great DVD if you are into old school style wrestling matches. The matches are more mat-based with little high-spots and the matches are a lot longer. If you are a wrestling nostalgist THIS IS FOR YOU. If you're a more recent fan (late 1990's onward) this may not be for you if you are more accustomed to seeing fast-paced, high-impact matches. Summed up though, I'd definitely say to give this a watch. You'll see many of the older stars of today back in their prime or when they first started out. Also, you'll get to see some of the legends that older fans like to reminisce about.
