Director Noriyuke Abe ably juggles battles, emotional scenes, and slapstick as the popular comedy-adventure Bleach continues. In a rare, gentle moment, Ichigo's father tells him he shouldn't blame himself for his mother's death, but should honor her memory by living in ways that would make her proud. Although his father's advice buoys his spirits, Ichigo vows to avenge his mother by slaying the Grand Fisher, the powerful Hollow that killed her. Ichigo and Rukia face a more immediate challenge at school. Uryu Ishida, the top student in their class, is a "Quincy:" a descendant of a clan of Hollow-hunters who despise their rival Soul Reapers. The icy Uryu challenges Ichigo to see who can kill more Hollows, and releases a potion that attracts the hideous creatures. When a Hollow threatens Ichigo's sister Karin, his muscular friend Chad unleashes his latent monster-fighting powers to save her. It's everything Bleach fans love and expect. (Rated "Teen," suitable for ages 13 and older: violence, grotesque imagery) --Charles Solomon
Description
Ichigo and Rukia continue their work as Soul Reapers, protecting the spirits and the living. But they are not the only ones with the power to defeat the evil Hollows. A rival called a Quincy appears with fearsome powers of his own--and a grudge against all Soul Reapers. When he issues a Hollow-battling challenge to Ichigo, it could spell the destruction of the world of the living!

Bleach.......2007-04-20
Bleach is the best anime/manga series I've come across in a very long time. The characters are well developed and lovable. The story has a real plot and keeps moving forward while other anime series simply fall apart in the middle leaving you feeling cheated but Bleach keeps you coming back for more. While I can't wait to see how this story ends I must admit that I will also be very sad to see it go. I've grown attached to this funny, charaming, exciting group of characters.
awesome show!.......2007-04-11
this is one of my favorite shows in long while. (I cheated and watched all of the japanese episodes so i want to tell you that it only gets better, as hard as that is to believe this show could get any better!) this is definatly worth every penny you spend on it!
Keeps getting better.......2007-03-29
I'm not the type of reviewer to just hand out 5 stars like candy. But Bleach is a series I'm just starting to love. Vol.3 is every bit as good as the last 2. There's a lot more action, comedy, and a deeper story is begining to develop. You also see there's actually a more serious side to Ichigo's father, he's not exactly a raving moron like he first appeared.
This volume also introduces a different type of Hollow hunter called the Quincies. The story behind them is pretty good and a lot of the other characters are being more developed and you actually start to care about them. This vol. is the same as others 4 episodes and a couple of extras. If your new to Bleach and must check it out. Then I highly advise you to pick up the first 2 vols. The best advice would be to just wait for the collection to come out because thats going to be alot cheaper. Bleach is a very long and addictive series. Dont be surprised if you purchase the first dvd then feel the need to purchase the rest as they comeout.

Good Action.......2007-04-03
This movie does keep your attention i do
recommend it has a good plot.
Like many series, gets progressively worse.......2007-01-20
The series gets worse and worse. Goes from an important problem (drugs) and somewhat decent movie, to a not so important problem (carjackings) and not so good movie to a really not important one (steroids? seriously, come on) and awful movie, to one that was a fraction of the first and second ones (Just gangs) and a movie you'd need a gun to my head to make me watch. I just hope they continue the series with a secret cd burning organization, or maybe just counterfeit purses. I'm sure whatever they do it'll go straight to video yet again.
The Substitute/The Substitute 3: Winner Takes All.......2006-07-06
Possibly a true dipiction of some schools in the world. Good movie that lets you root for the good guys from the beginning. Holds your attention throughout.Violence when necessary to the story line.
Substitute 3: Winner Takes All!!!!!!!.......2004-11-25
Treat is back in action, and this time he's after a bunch of steroid injected jocks who are supplied by the mafia. He doesn't have to take on this job, but Williams' character just seems to be an all around do-gooder this time around. He's also on a college campus this time instead of a high school. It's nice to see him away from the gang banger environment and taking on the rich jocks and mafiosos. His war buddie's dying request is that Treat gives his medal to his daughter. Naturally this guy's daughter happens to be a teacher who gets beat up by these jocks, thus giving Williams another opportunity to play teacher. He brings another crew with him along the way, including a black samurai, a rough chick and a heavy guy in a Hawaiian shirt. More of the same classroom fun as Williams beats, shoots, kills and maims the student body. One amusing scene has him lecturing the class on the Vietman war as he's engaged in a fistfight with a huge football player. Another classic has him slitting a guy's throat with a pair of eyeglasses. Ah, yes, Treat Williams is becoming the Charles Bronson of the new millenium. Will he get to the bottom of this barrel of steroid clams? Will he jump in the sack with that cute teacher? Will his students survive his English literature class? Watch Substitute 3 to find out.
SUBSTITUTE 3 Review.......2004-04-26
Second straight-to-video sequel to 1995's "The Substitute" has part-time mercenary, part-time substitute teacher Treat Williams taking over for a college professor who was brutally beaten by her juiced-up jock students. Williams and his new team of operatives are out to uncover a steroid scandal linking the university's football team to a local Mafia goon. Pretty good in a dumb Saturday afternoon movie type of way but the third act is more cheesy and full of holes then... well, Swiss cheese, I guess.
