No Brains is more like it. Richard Gere stars in this slick action thriller as your basic tough-but-dedicated cop who goes to New Orleans to avenge the death of his partner. On the way, he becomes involved with an illiterate Cajun beauty (Kim Basinger in the kind of role that unkind critics would call her typecast in before Ready to Wear and, of course, L.A. Confidential) who's the property of a ruthless killer. It's paint-by-numbers nonsense with lines (such as "we come from a society where it is very pleasurable to be a man") that play as high camp--unfortunately, that's not intended. Gere and Basinger's relationship--they'd try again, equally unconvincingly, with Final Analysis--is patently silly. They spend the first half of the movie exchanging hilariously sultry meaningful glances, until they're on the lam together, where the burning question is which actor's hair will be more stylishly mussed. --David Kronke

Customer Reviews:
Down in the bayou.......2005-03-24
Richard Gere is the tough Chicago cop who goes to the Big Easy to track down the killer of his partner. This killer is a much feared hood in New Orleans named Losado. While down there Gere runs into Kim Basinger, a "slave" of Losado's, and he becomes determined to free her as well as kill Losado. This is all very typical thriller fare, although it can be pretty suspenseful at times--especially in the bayous and, of course, the big ending where Gere gets his man in a nail-biting shoot out and fire. But after you've seen this, ask yourself the next day how much you can remember. Note: There's a scene in the picture that's stolen directly from Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps": Gere and Basinger are handcuffed together as they make their escape through the swamps.
"I keeled yore freend...Eh-dee.".......2005-03-07
In the very small "Chicago cop livestock crawl swamp swimming crawfish headsucking revenge" genre this is by far the best of all time! haw haw
Richard Gere plays Chicago undercover dick Eddie Jillette who, along with his partner, were unwittingly being hired by Kim Basinger's rich New Orleans boyfriend to kill this really bad meanie Losado, played by the ultra-unlikable Jeroen Krabbe, who we find later has "owned" Kim since she was like 12 years old. Unfortunately, Losado gets wise to the deal and follows Kim to Chicago where death and mayhem ensue, particularly to Jillete's partner who was "guh-tted like a peeg."
Well, Gere goes down to New Orleans looking for clues to his partner's killer with predictable results. In the process, William Atherton the brother of dead murdered and killed boyfriend shows off his wimpy backhand, and then gets threatened and carwrecked by Jillette, probably because he was such a jerk in Die Hard. Anyway, because he's a Yankee and a lot smarter than us Southerners (yuk yuk) he only needs about 10 minutes to find Kim (Mee-chelle) in a club on the wrong side of the river in Algiers, a town highly reminiscent of Hell if you've ever been down there too. Now here's the good part.....Kim Basinger on the dance floor grooving to some kind of hybrid Cajun island funk, and I mean she is throwing down! Hair, boobs, lips...your basic winner of the Nordic Combined. And then she goes in the ladies room and DOUSES HERSELF WITH WATER TO COOL DOWN! Hey, somebody DOUSE ME TOO! OK, have you hit the "Add to Cart" button yet?
The rest of the movie is pretty silly but as romantic thrillers go, Gere and Basinger set the bar pretty high. They have terrific chemistry and that alone will keep you interested until the final showdown between Jillette and Losado to decide who gets title to the beautimous Mee-chelle.
The DVD has both Widescreen and Standard with 2 channel Dolby. No other extras but the transfer is actually pretty good. A Top 10 datenight movie. 4 Po-boys
Grade F+.......2004-07-12
A cop's partner is killed, and poor Richard feels he has to go and take care of the bad guy that did it. Richard's wife has left him and he now is divorced, so Kim, who is a white slave of the bad guy, ads more reason for Richard to go after the bad guy. Besides, Kim was there when Richard's partner was done in.
THE GOOD
Not much, Kim Bassinger is pretty to look at, and that is about it.
THE BAD
Richard and Kim along with rest of the cast, seem to be going thru the motions of acting. Richard has the same blank stare that he has in most of his moves. Living close to New Orleans, they did not take advantage of the local landscape. This movie could have been filmed anywhere. They do not know how to eat Crawfish in the movie, a southern treat. The Final fight scene is poorly shot.
C.P.O.V
The F word is used alot, along with other foul language. Kim's breast are shown thru her wet shirt as she poors water down blouse to cool off. The killings are pretty bloodless, compared to today's standards. Not a lot of killings in this movie anyway.-EJW
This is a 5 star!.......2003-12-11
this is such an incredible movie. We get to see to Oscar winning performances here. Both great bodies strut their stuff and intensify the moments in the movie with the dramatic impersinations of the charactors. Don't miss it!
Gere, Bassinger Have That Chemistry That Heats Up The Screen.......2003-04-05
A film that went unoticed in the 80's is a tight well acted thriller starring the incomparable Richard Gere as tough brash Chicago Cop who's on a revenge misson to the bayous of New Orleans to find his partner's killer and gets involved with a mobster's illerate mistress. Standard Script with a few good action sequences thrown in along with Gere's exceptional talent to hold the viewer's attention throughtout the entire film. Even though the viewer has been through familar territory with this type of script it is still a great movie. Memorable scene was when Gere & Bassinger are treding through the swamps handcuffed together Mouthing off to one another. First of two film this duo has done together the other film was released 6 years later in another steamy thriller "Final Analysis"

One of the Best Shows of the year.......2007-03-17
Matt Hardy v. Gregory Helms-- I never really 'got' this rivalry and what was so great about it, or even why I should care, but their matches were consistently average and entirely watchable. This is no different. The home town crowd really ate these two up and while it's not my cup of tea, it served it's purpose. **1/4
WWE Tag Team Championship
London & Kendrick v. Idol & Stevens-- I LOVE Londrick, but this was one of their lesser matches. It wasn't for a lack of effort that's for sure, but this was one of those tag matches that just when it seemed like it was going to 'release' itself from low gears, it never really did. This is far from terrible, just very average. **1/4
MVP v. Marty Gartner-- I love the whole concept of MVP's character. The absolutely terrible squash match was done purposely. *******3/4's. No really, this was a squash, * but still fun.
Undertaker v. Mr. Kennedy-- Yowzers, this was pretty great. Kennedy, while playing the semi-chicken sh_t heel for most of the program snaps a little bit and feeds it right back to Taker after taking a pretty nasty beating early in the match. Very similar to the Cena-Taker match at Vengeance 03. If you liked that match, you'll love this. Solid stuff ***.
Falls Count Anywhere
Rey Mysterio v. Chavo Guererro-- A year after Eddie Guererro's death we're still watching this crap. This was pretty entertaining and followed the stip well, which WWE matches tend to not do, but there's nothing really that really sets it apart from the average falls count anywhere match. Again, decent and consistent with the stip, but not anything to really write home about. **1/2
Chris Benoit v. William Regal-- Oh joy. William Regal stole the show in this pay per view. He got punched in the zoinks and then chopped someone in the head. Honestly, this was excellent and from a quality standpoint, the match of the night. I could watch these two kill each other forever. Great way to bring Benoit back and Regal is his usually awesome self. ***1/2
World Heavyweight Championship-- Fatal Four Way
King Booker v. Batista v. Finlay v. Lashley-- Easily the biggest surprise of the night. Everyone got a chance to do their thing and look good. Finlay's sections were particularly awesome. Lashley played the plucky and game green horn well while Batista looked to be entirely desperate to win his belt back. King Booker is... just aweseome in this. Just looking for any opportunity to cheat and retain his belt. Great heelish stuff. And this was the first time he broke out the pinky on the entrance... Oh, the pinky. Super fun fatal four way match. ***
Overall-- Loved this show. All I ask when I plop my money down is that I am entertained. Smackdown's shows, even when their matches stink, you can at least take SOMETHING fun away from them. Super fun main event, great Kennedy-Taker match and we also got treated to Benoit-Regal without knowing about it prior to. Everything else is entirely passable and No Mercy's a show you might want to consider picking up.

A Surprisingly good PPV.......2007-01-10
Helms vs. Hardy
3 1/2 star match. Fast paced and really competitive, with some good false endings. Starts off a little slow, but by the end of this match I was hooked. Hats off to Hardy and Helms for also pulling off some innovative moves. It's good to see these two get a proper amount of time to show how they can operate together.
London & Kendrick (C) vs. James & Stevens for the Tag Team Titles
2 1/4 star match. This is actually a very basic tag match, but London & Kendrick are always fun to see go to action in the ring. KC James and Idol Stevens have potential as a team, though it now being a few months since this PPV originally aired, I can say that James and Stevens haven't done much since, unfortunately.
MVP's debut match vs. Some jobber
DUD. This wasn't much of a match. Pretty much just a squash, but still not a very entertaining one. However, this is MVP's first in ring appearance, which may be worth something seeing as MVP has gone on to show some actual in ring talent (which isn't displayed much here), and looks to have quite a future ahead of him.
Mr. Kennedy vs. The Undertaker
2 1/2 star match. These two have had better matches (including the Last Ride match they would have a couple months after this PPV originally aired) but this still isn't a bad match by any means. Taker's offense is actually pretty basic 'Taker stuff, which isn't really that bad, and Kennedy gets a chance to shine against an accomplished main eventer. The ending is a bit of a cop out, but it was obvious that this match was just the beginning of the feud between these two.
Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero Falls Count Anywhere
A solid 3 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed this match. These two are pretty much guaranteed to have a great match against each other and this match didn't disappoint. It's fairly brutal, as FCA matches should be. Rey Mysterio shows some pretty innovative offense, modifying his signature moves like the hurricarana and the 619 to work outside the ring.
Benoit vs. Regal
3 1/2 stars. These two could have an infinite number of matches and every single one of them would be good. This match was a great surprise addition to the card. Regal and Benoit put on a physical, intense match with some nicely done moves. And it gets a pretty good amount of time, so you can see these two go pretty much full on.
Fatal Four Way for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Finlay vs. King Booker (C) vs. Batista vs. Lashley
3 stars. A really fun match. As with WWE's usual multi-man matches, you don't see all four men in the ring at once very often in this match, but each of the four men involved get their chance to shine, and none of them have disappointing performances.
GREAT PPV FROM SMACKDOWN.......2006-12-11
I AM NOT GOING TO LIE I WAS 100 PRECENT SURE THAT THIS PPV WAS GOING TO SUCK THATS WHY I DID NOT GET IT A SO I SAID IT WOULD NOT HURT TO RENT IT AND BOY WAS I WRONG ABOUT THIS SUCKING THIS PPV WAS GREAT
MATT HARDY vs GERGORY HELMS
ALOT OF PEOPLE SAY THAT HARDY AND HELMS FOUGHT TO MUCH SO THIS MATCH WAS BORING WELL THEIR WRONG YES THEY DO FIGHT TO MUCH BUT THIS MATCH IS FAR FROM BORING GREAT MOVES BY BOTH MEN AND HELMS IS A GREAT WRESTLER AND YOU SAY HE DOSE NOT DEFENED HIS TITLE WELL THEIR ARE NOT THAT MANY CRIUSERWEIGHTS ON SMACKDOWN ANY WAY GREAT WAY TO OPEN THE SHOW 8/10
TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
LONDON & KENDRIK champs vs THE TEACHERS PETS { IDOL STEVENS & KC JAMES }
THIS WAS A REALLY GOOD TAG TEAM MATCH I LIKE BOTH TEAMS AND THEY DO A GREAT JOB MIXING TAG TEAM WRESTLING WITH NO LIMIT HIGH FLYING GOOD MATCH 7.5/10
MVP vs MARTY SOMTHING
I FORGOT THE JOBERS LAST NAME MVP OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS REALLY HASN'T PROVED ANY THING TO ME STUPIT MATCH SKIP THIS TRASH 3/10
UNDERTAKER vs MR.KENNEDY
OK FIRST OF ALL WHY IF WE GET SUCH A MESSED UP ENDING CAN'T THE TITLE BE ON THE LINE ANY WAY I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE SHORT AND A BASIC UNDERTAKER BEAT UP MATCH BUT BOY I WAS WRONG THIS WAS A REALLY GOOD WRESTLING MATCH I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED KENNEDY IN THE RING AND UNDERTAKER IS MY FAVROIT WRESTLER BUT I HAVE TO SAY KENNEDY TOOK IT TO THE UNDERTAKER AND THIS WAS MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUHT IT WAS OH BUT DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP ON A GOOD ENDING BECAUSE THIS DOSE NOT HAVE ONE 8/10
PIN FALLS COUNT ANY WHERE
REY MYSTERIO vs CHAVO GURREREO
I NEVER REALLY LIKED THIS FUED I LIKED THIER FUED IN 2003 BUT NOT THIS ONE BECAUSE OF EDDIE WHY IS IT EACH TIME SOMEONE THAT WAS REAL CLOSE TO EDDIE HAS TO HAVE HIS NAME IN A FUED AND THEIR MATCHS WRENT AS LONG OR AS GOOD AND THEIR MATCHIES WHERE BASICLY FIGHTS JUST LIKE THIS ONE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN GREAT BUT IT WAS MORE OF A BRAWL WITH SOME HIGHFLYING HIGH SPOTS THAN A GREAT HARDCORE CRUISERWEIGHT MATCH 7.5/10
WILLAM REIGL vs CHRIS BENIOT
GREAT MATCH THESE MEN CAN GO AND HAVE A GREAT WRESTLING MATCH WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I DID NOT LIKE THESE MATCH BUT NOW THEIR AWESOME AND FINALY CHRIS BENIOT & WILLIAM REIGL GET TO TO FIGHT ON A PPV I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A TITLE ON THE LINE BETWEEN THESE TO 8.5/10
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP-4 WAY MATCH
KING BOOKER champ vs FINLAY vs BOBBY LASHLEY vs BATISTA
THIS WAS WAY BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MOSTLEY A GOOD BRAWL BUT THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW HOW DID BATISTA GET BUSTED OPEN ANY WAY THIS MATCH WAS KINDA PREDICTBLE BUT STILL GOOD 8/10
OVER ALL GREAT SMACKDOWN PPV I WOULD PIC THIS ONE UP IF I WHERE YOU

1. The hardy Boyz vs. The hurrican and lance storm for the wcw tag team titles- This was a nice chocie as an opener. Both teams really put alot of effort in to this match. I would say that it was a nice fast paced hardy boyz trype of match and one that was given enough time to enjoy. WInners and stil wcw tag team champs the hardy boyz. Match Rating 7/10.
2. TEst vs. Kane- This was an okay match. I would sy that this was an aboveaverage big man match. I think that kane carried this match and i never thought test did much. Lots of near falls and lots of hard hitting action in this match. Big boot wins it for test. WInner Test MAtch Rating 7/10.
3. Torrie vs. Stacy in a lingera match- This was a horriable match. this was not a good wrestling match at all and the only two resons these women were brought in was because for looks. Saying htat i will rate this match in a half based on looks. WInenr torrie wilison. Match Rating 5/10.
4. Edge vs. Christian for the wwe itc title in a ladder match- This was tied for the match of the night. It mioght have been match of the night it was hard to decide. ANyway this was nice to see. They had had alot of ladder matches thsi year but this one took the cake. For one reason is because these two have been in so many ladder matches together they put on an awsome show with alot of high fling spots. WInner and new wwe itc champ edge. Match Rating 9/10.
5. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Big Show & Tajiri for the wwf tag team titles- This was an averag tag team match. I really could not get into this much as much as i should have. The reaosn being is that i think that the big show and tajiri did not mix well as a tag team. IT was okaty but not that good. Winners and still wwe tag team champs the dudley boyz. Match Rating 6/10.
6. Undertaker vs. Booker T- This was another up and down match. They had another one of these in 2004 at judgement dya and i wouldsay that this one was a little bit better. WHen u look at this match on paper it looks alot btter than it is. There styles mixed ok but i oculd not get into it as much as i wanted. WInner Undertaker. MAtch Rating 6.5/10.
7. The Rock vs. Chris Jericho for the wcw title- This was a god match. There series basically staeyd the same rating wise but i really liked this on.e One reason is ther match was set up beaytiful with a great storyline and great wrestling. Also lots of near falls int his match made this awsome. The othere great part about this match was we got to see them give y2J the respect he finally deserved. it was so nice for him to get a little bit of a push. Winner and new wcw champ Y2J. match Rating 8.5/10.
8. Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam for the wwe title in a triple threat match- This was another great match. They added rvd to the mix which was a great chocie. This match flowwed so good to the feud of austin and angle to the addittion of rvd it worked perfect. Great time gievn about 20 minutes. This was non stop action and even thought the no dq did not come into play that much it was still great and a nice ending invovling shane and vince. WInner and still wwe champ. Match Rating 9/10.
Well that raps up another. I would give no mercy 2001 a grade of 58/80 which is a 72% which means this is an awsome ppv. I would very much recomend this to anyone and get it right away. If u can tell me if my review was helpful or not i would appreicate that. Thanks for your time.
WWF and WCW in a WWE DVD.......2005-10-01

Rating: 9.5/10
WWF Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Edge vs. Christian
This match has lots of dangerous, high-flying and brutal action. Also lots of sick suddistic moves.Probably the best match of the night...I think! Also the greatest Ladder Match in the WWE!!!Edge wins
Rating: 10/10
WWF Tag Team Championships
The Dudley Boyz vs. The Big Show & Tajiri
For some reason, i didn't like this match cause it sucks.Big Show & Tajiri gave a hell of a fight but the Dudleys pick up the victory
Rating: 5.5/10
Undertaker vs. Booker T
One man from WWF and one man from WCW.An average match with some action and an amateur like wrestling match. But it is still brilliant.Undertaker wins with a Last Ride.
Rating: 6/10
WCW Championship
The Rock vs. Chris Jericho
Are you ready for the main event..well let's start it in the WCW Championship. These two men gave a hell of a fight and The Rock is
entertaining peoples.Jericho finally defeated The Rock with a chair shot.DAMN you Jericho!
Rating: 8.5/10
WWF Championship Triple Threat No DQ Match
Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam
One men from WWF, one man from WCW and one man from ECW, this match is great! They all do their signature moves and Vince kick's ass of Shane O' Mac.Austin wins with a sick stunner on RVD.
Rating: 9.5/10
Yet the best match of the night wasn't the main event, the ladder match is the best match of the night.Better than to remove the WWF Tag Team Championship match coz it sucks.2nd best PPV of 2001 after WrestleMania followed by No Way Out.

This Review is Very long so go to "see all my reviews" and look for it to see the full review !!!
1.WCW Tag Team Championship
Hardy Boyz vs. Hurricane Helms and Lance Storm
No Mercy kicked off from the Savvis Center in St. Louis with WCW Tag Team Championship action, as the Hardy Boyz defended against The Hurricane and Lance Storm. The Hardys were accompanied to the ring by Lita, while Hurricane & Storm were accompanied by Mighty Molly and Ivory. Hurricane showed off some of his Hurri-powers as the match began, but the Hardys battled right back with their high-flying, double-teaming tactics. But Hurricane & Storm roared right back with some double-team tactics of their own. Soon Hurricane put on his cape and leapt from the top rope all the way to the outside, taking out his opposition! The challengers isolated Jeff Hardy, but Jeff soon battled back, nailing Lance with a breath-taking corkscrew moonsault. Moments later, he tagged Matt, who cleaned house. Soon it was an all-out brawl in the ring, with several near falls. Matt went for the Twist of Fate, and the challengers hit a double thrust kick, but Jeff saved his brother from the pin at the last second. Lita got involved soon after, getting into it with Ivory and Mighty Molly. Jeff then hit Ivory, and Lance Storm snuck up on Jeff to get the half Crab. But Lita hit Lance with a hurricanrana. Matt then hit a Twist of Fate on Hurricane, and Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb for the win!
Winners and still Champions: Hardy Boyz
2.Kane vs Test
Two of the biggest, baddest dudes in sports entertainment went at it when Test battled Kane. The match marked Kane's fourth anniversary in the Federation, as he made his debut at the October 1997 "Badd Blood" Pay-Per-View, right in St. Louis! Test went for his flying elbow, but Kane moved just in time and came back with a neckbreaker. Kane then drove Test down with a suplex, but Test just got the shoulder up at the last minute. A Kane clothesline sent Test over the top rope, but Test recovered to ram Kane into the ring post and hit him with a big boot to the face! Once back in the ring, Kane narrowly escaped defeat. Test measured for another boot to the face, but Kane caught him in a chokeslam! The two then traded blows until Kane caught Test in a powerslam. Kane then ascended the top rope but missed a flying clothesline! Amazingly, Test caught the 300-plus pound Kane in a pump-handle slam, but Test again narrowly avoided defeat! Test then went to the outside to grab a chair, but Kane hit a dropkick against the chair and into Test's face! When Kane went to use the chair, referee Nick Patrick grabbed the chair and took it away! Patrick's interference opened the door for Test to finish the Big Red Machine with a big boot to pick up the win! After the match, an angry Kane chokeslammed Patrick not once, but twice, and then sent Patrick down with a powerbomb!
Winner: Test
3.First Ever Lingerie Match
Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler
The two sultry divas strutted down to the ring, ready to show off their stuff. Torrie unveiled her lingerie first, a mouth-watering red number. Stacy was slower to disrobe, instead stunning the crowd with some spins and kicks. Stacy then took off her robe to reveal a stunning black number, before slapping Torrie across the face. She then took out a whip, and whipped both Torrie and the referee! From there, the catfight was on, and the two women even rolled right over the ref! The women traded several near falls and then Torrie hit Tajiri's handspring elbow to score the pin, spanking Stacy after the bout!
Winner: Torrie Wilson
4.Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Christian vs. Edge
Two years after Edge & Christian battled the Hardy Boyz in the Ladder Match that put both teams on the map, E&C met up one-on-one in a Ladder Match for Christian's Intercontinental Championship, as it was brother vs. brother! With the title hanging above the ring, the fight started on the ramp way. It didn't take long for the ladder to become a factor, and the two brothers even battled into the crowd. Edge took the early advantage, catapulting his brother into the ladder, but Christian battled back, dropping his brother onto it. With the ladder propped up between the ring and the barricade, the brothers battled it out on top, and Christian fell crotch-first onto one of the rungs! Edge tried to bring the battle into the ring, but a Christian dropkick knocked the ladder right into Edge's face! That allowed the IC Champion to set up the ladder and try and get his belt. But Edge knocked him from the ladder, and Christian clotheslined Edge in the process. Christian then trapped Edge in the corner with the ladder, as the "Christian sucks!" chants began. Christian got a steel chair and went to nail his brother, but Edge caught his brother and tossed him from the top rope onto the ladder, spine-first! Edge set the ladder up against the ropes and put his brother on his shoulders. He then tossed him off, and Christian landed on the ladder in a precarious position! Edge set up the ladder between the top two turnbuckles, but Christian reversed a whip, sending his brother into the ladder! Moments later, Christian slingshotted his brother right into the ladder! Christian brought another ladder into the ring and set it up, as Edge started to come to. Edge then set up the other ladder and slammed Christian from the top of both ladders, with both men putting their bodies on the line! Edge was the first to come to, and he ascended one of the ladders as the fans cheered for him. Christian attacked his brother from behind, and hit the I'm Prettier from the top of the ladder! Christian went to the outside and got a pair of steel chairs. He set his brother up for the one-man con-chair-to, but Edge knocked the chair back into Christian's face. Edge then went outside the ring and brought in a third ladder, propping it up on the two chairs. He set Christian up on the ladder, and then went to the top rope and splashed his brother with a thunderous crash! Edge started to climb for the title, but Christian used a ladder to the ribs to knock Edge from the ladder. Christian then propped up the third ladder behind the other two. Christian started climbing a ladder, and Edge went up to the top rope and speared Christian right off the ladder! The brothers then began to climb the same ladder at the same time, and as they ducked it out, their ladder fell to the outside of the ring, knocking both brothers to the floor! E&C were very slow in getting to their feet, and Christian got back into the ring first. He started to climb, but fell a few times, and he was clearly very sore. Soon Edge was back in the ring, and he hit Christian with a chair below the belt. Edge then manoeuvred the chairs and gave Christian a con-chair-to on the top of the ladders! Christian's prone body rolled off the ladders, as Edge grabbed the title and became the new Intercontinental Champion!
Winner and new Champion: Edge
5. WWF Tag Team Championship
Dudley Boyz vs. Big Show and Tajiri
After putting Torrie Wilson and Spike Dudley through tables, the Dudley Boyz were wanted men in their title defence against Big Show and Tajiri. The Dudleys tried to isolate the Show, but the big man used his power advantage to gain control. Tajiri used his kicks in an attempt to score the Tag Titles, but Bubba soon nailed Tajiri with a Bubba Bomb. The Dudleys tried double-teaming Tajiri to soften up the smaller member of their challengers. Finally, Tajiri got the tag to Big Show, who dominated the Dudleys. The Show did his best Razor Ramon impression, and then signalled for the chokeslam, but the Dudleys knocked him out of the ring. Tajiri knocked the Dudleys down with kicks, and soon locked D-Von in the Tarantula. Moments later, he knocked the Dudleys down with a double handspring elbow! Tajiri went to hit Bubba with the mist, but instead hit the ref. Big Show then chokeslammed Bubba, but the ref was still out of it. Rhyno then ran to the ring and gored the Big Show to the outside. Tajiri then scored an enziguiri and a big kick to the face on D-Von, who barely kicked out of the pinfall. Moments later, the Dudleys hit the 3-D, and pinned Tajiri for the successful title defence.
Winners and still champions: Dudley Boyz
6.Undertaker vs. Booker T.
The most respected superstar in World Wrestling Federation history battled the most decorated superstar in WCW history as the Undertaker took on Booker T. The match started outside the ring with punches and kicks, as the two icons went at it. Taker went to work on Booker's left arm, and soon went old-school on Booker. Booker soon regained the advantage, as the fight spilled to the outside. Booker tried to hit Taker with the ring bell, but referee Tim White stopped him from doing so, and Taker regained the advantage as the fight spilled into the crowd. But Booker battled back as the fight went back into the ring. Booker went up top and nailed Taker with a missile dropkick. Soon after, he hit Taker with a big kick to the face, and a side suplex. Booker then telegraphed a knee to the face, and was about to go for the Spinerooni, until Taker got back to his feet. Taker rallied back with a big boot, but Booker reversed a powerslam and scored a near fall. Booker went to the second rope but was met with a big foot, and the two men slugged it out. A spinning heel kick by Booker was good for two, but Taker hit a DDT soon after. The fight continued, and Taker measured Booker for an avalanche. But Booker caught him, dropped him on the turnbuckle, and hit a kick, knocking Taker to the outside. Booker then hit the Spinerooni! As Taker went to get back in the ring, Booker hit him with a scissors kick, but Taker got his foot on the bottom rope. Moments later, Taker went for the chokeslam, but Booker powered out of it with a low blow, undetected by the ref. Booker punched Taker on the turnbuckles, but Taker nailed Booker with the Last Ride and pinned him to win the match.
Winner: Undertaker
7.WCW Heavyweight Championship
The Rock vs. Chris Jericho
It was the biggest match of Chris Jericho's career, as Y2J challenged The Rock for the WCW Championship, looking to prove that he could indeed win the "big match." Rock -- who lost the Federation Championship last year at No Mercy -- was looking to defeat his motivated challenger. The two popular superstars laid into each other from the get-go, as the fans were clearly split in who to cheer for. Rock looked for the Rock Bottom early on, but Y2J powered out and went for the Walls of Jericho, but Rocky got to the ropes. Y2J then hit Rock with the second-rope dropkick, pulling out all the stops for this unique opportunity to snare WCW gold. He also hit Rock with a top-rope reverse elbow for a two-count. Y2J also scored a near-fall after a flying forearm.Y2J gained the advantage, and assaulted Rock with various manoeuvres, trying to wear down the People's Champion. Rock roared back with a clothesline, but Jericho hung Rock out to dry on the top rope moments later. After a bodyslam, Jericho went up top, but Rock caught him and crotched him on the top rope, and then superplexed him down! The men slugged it out, and Rock tossed Jericho down, and then nailed Y2J with a Samoan drop for a two-count. Running on adrenaline, Rock knocked Jericho over the top rope to the outside. On the outside, he knocked Y2J's head off the announce table, before tossing him back into the ring. Rocky continued to pound on The Rock, but Jericho battled back. Rock floored Y2J with a clothesline, but Jericho kicked out of the pin. Moments later, Rock tossed Jericho to the outside. Back on the inside, Rock scored another near-fall. Rock then tried to wear down Y2J with a sleeper. After battling out of the sleeper, Y2J went for a dropkick but missed. Rock hit Jericho with a slingshot into the top turnbuckle, and then hit a clothesline. Rock continued to dominate, and went for another top-rope superplex. But Jericho pushed Rock down, and hit Rock with a missile dropkick! Both men were slow to get back to their feet, and when they did, they slugged it out. Y2J scored with a neckbreaker and a hurricanrana for two. Moments later, Jericho hit Rock with a Rock Bottom! He then nailed a Lionsault, but Rock kicked out at two, much to Y2J's shock! Y2J then hit a bulldog on The Rock, and went for the People's Elbow, but Rock moved! Rock battled back, putting Y2J in the sharpshooter! Jericho screamed for dear life, and after what seemed like minutes, Y2J finally made it to the ropes, forcing Rock to break the hold! On the outside, Rock took the top off the Spanish announce table, and he and Jericho ascended the table. He then nailed Y2J with a Rock Bottom right through the table! Rock stared down his challenger, and brought him back into the ring. He set Y2J up for a Rock Bottom, but Jericho battled out of it. Rock then hit a spinebuster on Y2J, and went for a People's Elbow of his own. But as he was about to hit it, Jericho caught Rock's foot, and locked Rock in the Walls of Jericho! Rock reached for the ropes for all he was worth, but as he was about to get there, Jericho pulled him away! Suddenly, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley ran to the ring and threw a chair in the ring, Y2J let go of the hold to knock Stephanie from the apron, and when Y2J turned around, Rock nailed him with a DDT. Rock then threw Stephanie into the ring, and hit her with a Rock Bottom! The distracted ref didn't see Y2J knock Rock's head into the chair! Three seconds later, Chris Jericho was the new WCW Champion! After the bout, Y2J mocked Stephanie. Rock grabbed a chair and snuck up behind Y2J. When Jericho turned around, Rock presented him with the chair, and Jericho held up the title belt and the chair!
Winner and new Champion: Chris Jericho
8.WWF Heavyweight Championship
Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam
This match was made all-the-more interesting by the fact that Commissioner Mick Foley made it a no-disqualification bout on HEAT, and also by the fact that there were many question as to what role Vince McMahon would play. Austin had some words for RVD prior to the bout, as Angle snuck up and nailed both men with suplexes. Austin & RVD soon battled back and double-teamed the Olympian. They knocked him from the ring, and Austin talked some trash to RVD, even giving him the middle finger. RVD gave it right back, as Angle snuck up behind RVD and attacked him. The Rattlesnake pounded on both men, even hitting Angle with a low blow. He went for the Stunner on Angle, who reversed it into an ankle lock before RVD kicked Angle, breaking the hold. RVD nailed Austin with a series of kicks, before Angle attacked RVD from behind. But RVD hit Angle with Rolling Thunder for a near-fall, broken up by Austin. As the "RVD" chants heated up, Austin hit RVD with a spinebuster, threw Angle to the outside, and gained a near-fall on RVD. Austin went to work on RVD's knees, and also pounded on Kurt. Stone Cold locked RVD in a half Boston Crab, until Angle broke it up. Austin threw Angle to the outside and locked RVD in a STF, until Angle broke that up too. Outside the ring, Austin slingshotted Angle into the ringpost, and then wrapped RVD's legs on the ringpost. With Angle and Austin down, RVD went up top. He went for the Five-Star Frog Splash, but both men moved out of the way. Moments later, Austin hit the Stunner on Angle, but RVD broke up the pin. RVD set Austin up in the corner, and hit the split-legged moonsault for two. Angle hit the Angle slam on RVD, but Austin broke up the pin. Austin knocked Angle from the ring, and then Stone Cold went outside the ring after him. Austin and Angle ducked it out on the outside, and Stone Cold took the top off the other announce table. He went to piledrive Angle, but Angle backdropped him onto the announce table, which did not break! RVD then scored with a leap to the outside on Angle, as all three men lay on the outside! Suddenly, Vince McMahon strutted to ringside. RVD & Angle were the first two men up, and they slugged it out inside the ring, where RVD hit Angle with a reverse heel kick. RVD then went up top, but Angle caught him with a top-rope belly-to-belly suplex! Austin finally got back into the ring, and hit another Stunner on Angle, but Angle fell outside the ring, so the Rattlesnake turned his attention to RVD. Mr. McMahon then got in the ring and nailed Austin in the back with a steel chair! RVD went up top and nailed Austin with the Five-Star Frog Splash, but an injured RVD couldn't go for the pin right away. When he finally did, Angle broke it up. Angle hit RVD with four belly-to-back suplexes and an Angle slam, but as he went for the pin, Shane McMahon ran down and threw Angle to the outside and into the ringpost! Shane and Vince then started going at it! Back in the ring, Austin hit the Stunner on RVD and pinned him to retain his championship, much to Vince McMahon's shock!
Winner and still Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin

WWE No Mercy 2002.......2007-06-03
This product was in excellent condition. Any wrestling fan would be happy to have it. Especially if you are a Tajiri fan!!
Great PPV With Stupid Storylines.......2007-04-04
I remember this PPV really showcased here RAW & SmackDown were at this time as SmackDown showcased "sports" while RAW had the "entertainment" aspect. This was also the PPV where they had good matches there were overshadowed by the crappy storylines going into it and we ended up getting a classic tag team match from four singles wrestlers. For those remembering Kane & Undertaker's storylines at the beginning, you'll get a chuckle out of the opening skit.
World Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Christian vs Booker T & Goldust - This was a good opener as both teams worked well with each other here. There's a moment at the end where Jericho goes for the lionsault and the rope breaks for him to land on his face.
Torrie Wilson VS Dawn Marie - The beginning of the "Al Wilson" storyline and just like the storyline, the less said about this...the better.
Rob Van Dam VS Ric Flair - RVD's chance for revenge against Flair for what happened the month earlier at Unforgiven. Two men with two completely different styles actually meshed well here to give us a good match here.
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jamie Noble w/Nidia VS Tajiri - This was just a decent title match as the aftermath with Nidia was more entertaining than the match.
Unification Match: World Champion Triple H vs. Intercontinental Champion Kane - This was the brainchild of someone's STUPID idea to get rid of the Intercontinental Title so there would be only 1 single's title on RAW. And to top that, they did this horrible controversal storyline regarding Kane & "Katie Vick" that honestly I'm still trying to forget to this day. The match itself was average by main event standards but Lawler just would not get off the whole Katie Vick thing throughout the match to the point that you didn't give a damn about the unification & were just glad that the match was over.
WWE Tag Team Tournament Finals: Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit VS Edge & Rey Mysterio - This was the classic match I was talking about earlier as they put on a wrestling clinic. Rey did his high flyin' lucha libre while Edge held his own in the ring and we all know Benoit & Angle are two of the best in the world. They would go on to have better series of matches involving themselves & Los Guerreros but this was worth the price of admission alone.
WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus VS Victoria - The match itself wasn't much as it was short & sweet as Trish won but Victoria attacked afterwards to setup their Survivor Series rematch.
Hell in a Cell Match: WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker - Another great Hell In The Cell bout as they kept it inside the cage while Taker bled like crazy & sold his wrist injury in a brutal match that saw Lesnar put over as a monster. And unlike the World Title match, they didn't concentrate on the crappy "Undertaker cheating on his pregnant wife" soap opera storyline and concentrated on just the match in itself.
In the end, the good heavily outweighed the bad and you also can see two classic matches on this DVD set. I recommend if you can get past the Katie Vick thing.
No Mercy, Yes Awesome.......2007-02-18
WWE No Mercy 2002
One of the greatest WWE PPVs of all time. Most of the card is decent, and you have some awesome matches in it as well. This PPV is topped by next months Survivor Series though.
World Tag Team Championship
Chris Jericho/Christian(c) VS Booker T/Goldust
Not bad. The rope breaking on Jericho is pretty funny. Nothing really great, kind of slow.
RATING-7/10
Torrie Wilson VS Dawn Marie
Waste of time. I am not one to hate on women's wrestling. This match is just lame though.
RATING-2/10
Rob Van Dam VS Ric Flair
This is proof that RVD can work with anybody. Him and Flair are very different in style. They put on a pretty good match though.
RATING-7/10
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Jamie Noble(c) w/Nidia VS Tajiri
Decent Cruiserweight match. Some good action.
RATING-7.5/10
Winner Take All Match-Intercontinental/World Title Unification
Triple H(World Champion) VS Kane(IC Champion)
Have you ever heard of the Katie Vick storyline? This is it. The worst storyline ever. The match itself is really good. The storyline is just terrible though.
RATING-8/10
WWE Tag Team Championship-First Ever Champions Decided
Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit VS Edge/Rey Mysterio
I didn't like this match as much as everyone else. It was an awesome match, but not 10/10 in my mind. Still really awesome though. Also, this is the first match for this title. So, this match is a big deal.
RATING-9/10
WWE Women's Championship
Trish Stratus(c) VS Victoria
Again, I do not hate women's wrestling. This match wasn't very good though. There match at Survivor Series was much better. Victoria looked lost in the ring at times.
RATING-3.5/10
WWE Championship-Hell in a Cell
Brock Lesnar(c) w/Paul Heyman VS Undertaker
Awesome match. They tell a story so well in this match. Unlike previous HIAC matches, not many weapons are used. Undertaker has a broken hand, and it plays into the story very well. This is the first cell match that they don't go to the top of the cell either. They stay inside the cell and beat the hell out of each other. Both are busted open. Taker is bleeding like crazy. Great ending.
RATING-10/10
This gives this DVD 68% out of 100%. This is mostly because of the Diva matches, the rest of the PPV is great.

No Mercy shows No mercy.......2006-07-02
No Mercy 2002 was a great pay per view and i believe it is one of the best of 2002. the matches are out of 5 so here they are in order.
World Tag Team Championship Match: Chris Jericho & Christian (C)vs. Booker T & Goldust: A good tag team match with a lot of action. Winner: Chris Jericho & Christian 3/5
Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie: A match based on Dawn Marie's love for Al Wilson. Not a very good match, but what would you expect. Winner: Torrie Wilson 1/5
Rob Van Dam vs. Ric Flair: This Match was good and it really doesn't dissapoint. RVD fans will enjoy it. Winner: Rob Van Dam 3/5
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Jamie Noble (C) w/ Nidia vs. Tajiri: An ok cruiserweight match with Noble winning. Winner: Jamie Noble 2/5
WWE World Heavyweight and WWE Intercontinental Championship Unification Match: Triple H (WHC) vs. Kane (IC): This match was pretty good but the story line of Katie Vick is just rediculous and stupid and makes wrestling look even more fake and simple. Overall, a good match with Triple H going into his bag of tricks to get the win. 3/5
Finals of the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament: Rey Mysterio & Edge vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Beniot: This match and the main event stole the show, but this one had it all. Great action and wrestling skills and finished 3rd for match of the year. No one gives up in this one. Winner: Angle & Beniot 5/5
Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Undertaker: This Hell in a Cell match is one of the best with tons of blood, action, and powerful moves. This is one of Lesnar's best performances and he deserves to be put in a class with the best wrestlers of all time. A masterpiece. Winner: Brock Lesnar 5/5

WWE No Mercy 2003.......2007-06-03
Good product to have. The earlier years are fun to have if you are a collector.
BIKER CHAINS, HANDICAP WRESTLERS, AND FAMILY FIGHTING IN ONE NIGHT.......2007-05-10
Crusierweight Champion Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio - This was back when there was actual focus on the crusierweight division as these two were allowed to go out there & have a great match with plenty of time to execute.
Chris Benoit vs. A-Train - You know your bad when you have a BORING match with Chris Benoit & that was the case here. I'll be honest & say I fast foward though this because A-Train does nothing for me in the ring.
Zach Gowen vs. Matt Hardy - This was the last SmackDown appearence of Matt Hardy for almost 2 years & the last appearence of Zach Gowen period. It's amazing the stuff Gowen can pull off with only one leg & Hardy had to really sell for this kid and the match was kept pretty short so it's watchable.
APA vs. Basham Brothers - This was one of the better APA bouts I can remember in recent memory as they matches up well with the new team of the Basham's. The ending resulted in the return of Shanquia with her chest "swelling" from the Closeline from Hell by Bradshaw.
I Quit Match: Vince McMahon vs. Stephanie McMahon - If you take one thing into concideration, this match isn't as bad as you think as it was revealed on the McMahon DVD was that Stephanie was getting married in less than a week from this match so they went light so she didn't have a bruse or scratch on her. This was a better "sports entertainment" match than a wrestling match.
Kurt Angle vs. John Cena - This was one of Cena's best showing in his entire career as he & Kurt always seem to work well with each other. This match & fued with what made the fans take to him more than ever to the point where he was turned babyface weeks later. Match of the night.
United States Champion Eddie Guerrero vs. Big Show - This match played to Eddie's weakness as he was selling the beating Show gave him on SmackDown so it was mostly a "david vs. goliath" type match with Show dominating for the most part until it was just too much for Eddie as Show won the U.S. Title. Check out the part in the end when he tried to put the belt on his wait to realize it's too small.
Biker's Chain Match: WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker - Out of their 3 series of matches, I would say this was my least favorite. That doesn't mean it was bad but there's no way they're going to top Hell In The Cell last year and this just wasn't as good as their first encounter at Unforgiven last year. They do work well together & had a nice match between the two with them getting very physical (and I think even stiff at times) with spots such as the tombstone on the steps. The chain wasn't even a real factor in the match and the ending was to set up the match next month because Undertaker & Vince McMahon.
The DVD extras I can remember from this were Cena having a rap battle with a fan outside & the ending of SmackDown two weeks earlier when Eddie sprayed Big Show with raw sewage.
Overall, this was an average No Mercy with nothing really special standing out besides the Angle/Cena encounter so I would suggest this as a rental & judge for yourself.
i wish i could have saw angle vs cena at nm 2003 but didn't c their first ever match together at smackdown 2002.......2006-08-25
Kurt Angle vs John Cena (his debut match) Smackdown 6/27/02
this was a very good match especially da fact that this was john cena also surprised me because it is rare that wrestlers who have their first match deliever a good performance john cena did not look like da color of grass he kept up with angle nicely da match length was ok around 11 to 12 minutes long i would not have been annoyned to see another 5 minutes to see what else john could do in the ring against this is one of many matches angle took wrestlers with potential to the middle and upper card status john cena being the first illustration edge and rey mysterio being the other example which is y many considered angle wrestler of 2002 with benoit being the runner up i thought john cena was going to win the match because angle gave him so much offense but it end up being kurt angle i heard their match at no mercy and no way out is a little better than this match i cannot to see both of their matches i rate their smackdown match at ***1/4-***1/2 after watching this match i realized that john cena was a good wrestler who is capable of being a triple h or rock in the future who is on his way to that level because he has had a lot of *** star matches and some **** ones this year

1. Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio for the crusierwieght title- This was a very good opeenr. This is nothing that we have not seen before out of these guys but non of the less still good. Lots of high flying moves in this match and near falls. It was given enoiugh time at 12 minutes to work.Soild match. WInner and still wwe crusierwieght champ tajiri. Match Rating 7/10.
2. Chris Beniot vs. A-Train- This was your typical a-trian match. I think that it was abovious to me that beniot carried this match the whole way through. It was dominated by train for part of ti but when beniot got inb cotrol is where thew match picked up . WInner Chris Beniot. MAtch Rating 6.5/10.
3. Zach Gowan vs. Matt Hardy- This was a different type of match. Now i am not one to bag on zach goawn but this result was redicioulds.first off i htink hardy should have come out on top in this match. Second offf opne thing good i would say was they kept this match 6 minutes. I will cut this in half but i did not enjoy this match. Winner Zach Gowan. Match Rating 5/10.
4. The basham brothers vs. The apa- this was an up and down match. The up part was i really liked the bashams as a tag team and they looked good here. Second was that io think the apa really stepped it up and i think the should not always lose as i see that they ussulay do. They bad part about this match was u knew we were in trouble when the bashams camne out to absoulte silence. Not horriable but not great. WInners the basham brothers. Match Rating 6/10.
5. Vince McMahon vs. Stephine in an i quit match- Alright now this was a differtent match. There were so many things right and so many things wrond. First off i liked how this match was built up with a good storyline. I did not like the part of the match wrestling wise but it achived it purpose by having it no dq. Not that bad of a match. Winner Mr. McMhaon. Match Rating 6.5/10.
6. Kurt Angle vs. John Cena- This was a good match and in my opioion this was the second best match of the night. I would say that this is tied with alot of there matches in there series which are always behind the no way out 2005 in kurts home town. Given the right amount of time at 18 miutes and not only did angle carrie this match i also felt that cena stepped it up and i caould c cena going face from here. Not the best ending but i would say this is good. WInner kurt angle. Match Rating 7.5/10.
7. Eddie Guerrero vs. The big Show for the us title- Nice 11 minute match of big man vs. small man action. I think that this match had a nice flow to it and it was one of big shows btter matches. NBot to say that this was awsome but it was above average. WInner and new wwe us champ the big show. Match Rating 6.5/10.
8. Brock Lesner vs. Undertaker in a bikers chain match for the wwe title- This wa a nice main event. This was not there best match together like there hell in a cell match a few years ago but it did beat out there unforgiven match. Not that bad not a blooody nmatch by any means but some niuce spots were taker tombstones lesner on the stpes and other nice action., Decnt main event. Winner and still wwe champ brock lesner. Match Rating 8/10.
Well that raps up antoher. I would give no mercy 2003 a grade of 53/80 which is a 66% which means this means is a good ppv. If u can tell me if my review was helpful or not i would appreicate that. Thanks for your time.

A Farewell to Guerreo.......2006-08-16
This PPV will primarily be remembered as Eddie Guerrero's last. Unfortunately he delivers a lackluster main event on a lackluster show. His match with Batista never got off the ground, and as cute as the friend/not friends angle was it did nothing to enhance the match. Many people will point out that as WWE champion Guerrero was a financial failure and seemed to crack under pressure, but at least he became champion. Who would have really thought that he would ever attain those heights back when he was in ECW and WCW? And in the ring he will always be considered a legend. Anybody who has not yet seen his matches with Dean Malenko in ECW should really check those out.
For me, the Casket Match that pitted the Undertaker vs. Randy Orton and Bob Orton was much more useful than the main event. This is especially surprising considering that the match involves two senior citizens. The first ¾ of the match is as slow as you would expect it to be, but the ending had virtuoso booking that actually had me guessing (and I've been a wrestling fan for 17 years). In the end the casket was set on fire with the Undertaker "inside." While that angle is totally played out it did give the Undertaker another opportunity to take an extended vacation. As we learned ten years ago from the Hukster, when you get to be the Undertaker's age your feet don't leave the ground.
My favorite match of the night was Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. JBL. I was against the JBL title reign just like every other self-respecting wrestling fan, but I am now ready to admit that that reign may have done him a boatload of good, wrestling wise. It's still my contention that McMahon gave JBL the title simply to rile up the smart/internet fans. You can make the average fan hate anybody. But it took JBL's lack of wrestling skills, lack of charisma, and lack of street cred to take internet hatred to a new level. Still his match on this PPV was spot on and nearly saved the show.
Other than that the usual suspects, Benoit, Christian, Melina, showed up to try and save the show, but like so many other Smackdown PPVs it's going to get a no vote from me. The Hardcore Holly vs. Mr. Kennedy match was filled with stiff wrestling and missed spots. They also used the opening match to crap all over the legacy that is the Legion of Doom. I don't know what was more of an abomination: Heidenreich pretending to be Hawk, or the size of Animal's gut. Simon Dean gave a very mediocre comedy act, then spent the night eating hamburgers (which grew very old by the end). The announcers were, as always, way too eager to give away the match endings by very enthusiastically proclaiming the opposite to be true. Still, feel free to avoid this PPV. ***

1. HEMANIMAL, HEIDENREICH & CHRISTY HEME vs. MNM- This was a okay tga match to kick off the show. I would really wish that mnm could have had a win on a ppv this year over lod but i guess not. It was a fats paced match and i would have to say the most improvement was showen by christy heme. Good stuff but nothing awsome. Winners HEMANIMAL, HEIDENREICH & CHRISTY HEME. Match Rating 6.5/10.
2. BOBBY LASHLEY vs. SImon Dean- This was bobby ppv debut. I would say that this was not a good match as it was basically a 2 minute squash and u cant expect more than that when you have a man like lasheys size go up against simon dean. He looked inpressive excpet at the end he messed up the dominator. THe segments after were dean had to eat 20 hamburgers was funny. Winner bobby lashey. Match Rating 3/10.
3. CHRIS BENOIT vs. Booker T vs. Christian vs. Orlando Jordan for the wwe us title- This was a good match. All of these guys did a good job including orlando who is usually waful. A nice place for this on the card and really shows all of the talent in the mid card for smackdown. Alot of the action was between beniot and bookerbut lots of fast paced action and a soild match. WInner and still wwe us champ chris beniot. Match Rating 8/10.
4. KEN KENNEDY vs. Hardcore Holly- This was also mr kenndys ppv debut. Not as much of a squash match as lasheys was but still very predictable. I think kenndy looked a little better only becuase he got a little more time and his oppent was a little better. Okay match and just passable but a good fit on this card as a filler. WInner KEN KENNEDY. MAtch Rating 4.5/10.
5. Jbl vs. Rey Mysterio- this was a good match. Resembled more of big man vs litttle man action. I was hoping for a litttle more out of these two but this was okay. Jbl controlled alot of this match but than rey fought back with alot of high flying action. Ended out of knowwere but i liked this match. WInner JBL. Match Rating 7/10.
6. Undertaker vs. Randy orton and bob orton in a casket match- This in my opion was match of the night but there were alot of others really close to it. This was given the right amount of time at 18 minutes of soild action aand believe it or not i did not think the bob orton slowed down this match. There were some wepaons used including a fire estiger and a chair. A really sick chair shot at the end of the match that puts taker in the casket. Nice after math. WInner Randy orton and bob Orton. Match Rating 8.5/10.
7. NUNZIO vs. JUVETUD GUERRERA for the wwe crusierwieght title- This was a nice was to filler up the card but at the same time ai really enjoyed this match. JUVETUD as champ was awsome uintill he blew it and got in troubl agian. ANway there was alot of fast paced action and when u give them 7 minutes they deliver. WInner and new wwe crusierwieght champ JUVETUD GUERRERA. Match RAting 7/10.
8. Batistia vs. Eddie Guerrero for the WHT- Interesting match & definitely worth a watch. I personally don't think it quite came off, but I could see why some people might have really liked the bout. 19 minutes in length, the entire duration of the match was methodically paced. It was for a reason though, as both men did well in telling a story. To that effect, I commend the WWE for the rather brave booking & also the 2 men for their performances. But the inability to change gears at any stage of the bout hampered it. As did the weak ref bump, the over-selling of Eddie's refusal to cheat & the anti-climactic ending (I think the Batista Bomb was required). The door is now well & truly open for what could be a fascinating rematch. And against my initial reaction, this storyline may indeed work. WInner and still WHc Batistia. Match Rating 8/10.
Well that raps up another. I owuld give no mercy 2005 a grade of 52.5/80 which is a 66% whcih means this is a good ppv. This was alright it had its ups and downs but i would try and get it at walmart or off ebay for a cheaper price. If u can tell me if my review was helpful or not i would appreicate that. Thanks for your time.

One Of The Best SmackDown PPV's Of The Year.......2007-05-11
Eddie Guerrero vs. Luther Reigns - This was Luther's best match in his short WWE career as this was a good opener to get the crowd going. It's slow at times but overall, enjoyable & the ending with Eddie "lyin', cheatin', and stealin'" is just classic Guerrero.
Spike Dudley vs. Nunzio - The DVD I rented had a scratch on this part & kept skipping so I can't comment.
Paul London vs. Billy Kidman - I must be dreaming because there are two crusierweight matches on the same card! They actually had a good storyline going into this match along with Kidman having a personality for the first time since his fued with Hulk Hogan (which I'm sure most of us would like to forget). These two mesh well together & is actually one of the best matches of the night & the aftermath with the shooting star presses were something to see.
WWE Tag Team Champions Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupri vs. RVD & Rey Mysterio - Just like this PPV gave Reigns the best match of his career, this PPV also gave Kenzo Suzuki the best match of his career. It was very fast paced which works well in the favor of RVD & Mysterio. Watchable & solid.
Big Show vs. Kurt Angle - This was one of the best Big Show matches he's had in his career as he's going for revenge after he was "raped of his dignity" (tribute to Andre The Giant). It was a great performance out of both since Angle sold his "fear" of Show while Show looked ruthless.
United States Champion Booker T vs. John Cena - This was the last match of their series and this was another solid encounter as Booker T was one of the guys who brought out the best in John Cena. Back & forth action here and was another enjoyable performance for the night.
Dudleyz & Dawn Marie vs. Rico, Charlie Hass, Miss Jackie - This was based off a storyline where Dawn Marie was implying that she was having an affair with Charlie Hass...who was engaged to Miss Jackie. The match itself was suppost to be a filler but turned out to be very enjoyable as Rico's gimmick made the match comedic at times such as begging for D-Von to give him the "Whazzup!" headbutt to his crotch. Good solid match up.
Last Ride Match: WWE Champion JBL vs. Undertaker - This was a brutal brawl including chair shots & steel steps between the two that heavily makesup for their lackluster SummerSlam encounter. One of JBL's best encounters and a good way to end the show.
The DVD extras that I can remember were a post match Cena interviews with Luther Reigns & John Cena along with a pre-match interview with Booker T. Overall, this was one of the best SmackDown PPV's of the year (the other being No Way Out earlier that year) and is a solid PPV from top to bottom that I recommend.
Great PPV but dont pay to much for it.......2007-01-25
Wal-Mart just put this out in a special end-cap. the cost.. $3.88!!!! So dont pay more than that for it!
No Mercy 2004.......2006-06-13
This was a great paperview and its definitly worth the money. Heres my ratings for each match out of 10.
Eddie Guerrero vs. Luther Reigns
Rating- 7.5/10. This was a good match, slow at times but still enjoyable. Good choice for an opener.
Cruiserweight Championship
Spike Dudley vs. Nunzio
Rating- 8/10. I loved this cruiserweight match. It was fast paced and never slowed down with good counters. Exciting match.
Billy Kidman vs. Paul London
Rating- 9/10. This was an awesome match. WWE should really have more cruiserweight matches like this and all of their paperviews should deliver.
WWE Tag Team Championships
Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree vs. Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio
Rating- 9/10. This was a great tag team match. Rey and RVD work so great together as tag partners and it makes this a great match.
Big Show vs. Kurt Angle
Rating- 8/10. I actually liked this match. Big Show's ruthlessness added to this match and it was a great big man/small man match.
United States Championship
Booker T vs. John Cena
Rating- 8.5/10. This was a great match and these two work real well together. I didnt like the FU outta nowhere though cuz there was no build up to the end of the match whatsoever.
Dudleyz and Dawn Marie vs. Charlie Haas, Rico, and Miss Jackie
Rating- 8/10. This was a very enjoyable match. Nothing spectacular but a good match before the main event.
Last Ride Match for the WWE Title
Undertaker vs. JBL
Rating- 9.5/10. This match was brutal and i loved it. This really wasn't a wrestling match it was more of a brawl with several highlights.
Overall, i would give no mercy 04' a 9/10. It was a great paperview with no bad matches. Buy It!
