5 out of 5 stars Brutal Beating.......2007-06-17

Anderson Silva has arrived in the UFC, and dominated the champ. One of the worst title defenses in history. I respect Franklin but wow, shows holes in his game. Rest of card is good, not the best but solid. Anyways the picture is not that bad actually it looks pretty dope on my TV. In the end if you enjoy mma this is worth purchasing.

1 out of 5 stars Terrible Picture Quality.......2007-05-24

Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT buy this DVD. I think ever since the UFC switched to a different DVD distributor, the quality of their DVD's has gone through the floor. The picture is almost unwatchable because it is so blurry. I'm amazed that they even release stuff that basically has bootleg quality. I bought this DVD to enjoy watching Silva/Franklin over and over and over again, but I started getting a headache two minutes into it. Stay away from this. The UFC needs to do something about this because it's unacceptable for a company so successful to release such low quality garbage.

2 out of 5 stars More action would have earned more stars.......2005-06-20

The movie plot looked so tired and dumb that I assumed there would be a lot of good ass-kicking and people getting their heads blown off. So I rented it. To be sure, there were some cool fights, but long, tedious scenes of the "top bad guy" yelling at his inept henchmen and plot over-development kept the fireworks from happening until the end and even that was a little weak and stunted.

The plot device that kept getting in the way was the hallucinagenic drug theme. Snipes' character, Dean Cage, is injected with a drug that makes him believe he's in a past combat situation and his friend is in danger. Any suggestion is automatically believed - at one point he's told "You're on fire" and immediately we see his legs burst into flame. That was sort of neat, but they bang on this drum and rely on the theme that Cage is a poor hapless dupe so much - so sad for a renter who expected to some serious ass-whooping. Should have read some other reviews first, I guess!

3 out of 5 stars SNIPE HUNTING.......2005-05-25

In spite of its derivativeness and lack of true cinematic flair, UNSTOPPABLE is enjoyable and has some good things to recommend it:
*Mark Sheppard and Kim Coates as an Abbott and Costello-style hit men duo, whose stone faced seriousness adds unintended camp;
*Jacqueline Obradors does well as a gritty cop who doesn't take guff from bad government agents;
*Wesley Snipes who will more than likely enter the aging action hero group of stars like Steven Seagal, Jean Claude van Damme and others, doesn't require much suspension of belief in his hallucinogenic stupor;
Stuart Wilson is fun in his "Let's try and act like Rip Torn" villain role.
It's all mindless froth but it kept me interested in spite of its flaws.

4 out of 5 stars PROBLEMS, PROBLEMS, PROBLEMS - GREAT.......2005-03-17

Dean Cage has so many problems -
He is trying to deal with the emotional trauma of causing his friends death.
He is mistakenly identified as a CIA agent at a set-up so the twit injects him with a revelutionary hallucinatory drug that ends up killing its victim.
Cage then explodes into action as he puts the make on the would-be kidnappers and goes on the run.

Hey, I still like that truck, especially those lights. Even I was hanging on for dear life.
It took his friend, Scott's sister, a while to piece together the clues to Dean's new problem. The fading in and out of his vision was a bit distracting but made for the realism of what he was seeing.

Oh yeah, his memories were helping to block the suggestions being made to him. And confusing his tormentors.
Finally, an actress I could really like in her role, she was not overpowering, but feminine and persistent in pursueing Dean to help bring him in safely and determined to save his life.
Where is that dang antidote?

I greatly enjoyed all the actors' in their roles and will be watching it again to see what I missed the first time around.

Will recommend but it is still just a matter of taste. I enjoyed it.

2 out of 5 stars Wesley Snipes in Ordinary B-Action Film.......2005-03-06

Below-average actioner 'Unstoppable' (formerly called 'Nine Lives' under which title the film is released in some countries) proves that Wesley Snipes, the star of 'Blade' trinity, awfully needs a film with a decent script. I like him, but it is true that he might be heading for the straight-to-video land where many action film stars are gone, and never come back.

Snipes plays an ex-special agent Dean Cage who was in Bosnia, where his last mission went terribly wrong. He managed to come back alive, but is feeling guilty of the past, and his relations with his girlfriend (and a local cop) Amy (Jacoueline Obradors, 'Six Days, Seven Nights') are far from smooth. Sounds familiar? It is, and you have to wait a while for the actions to start.

They start when Cage is mistaken for another man at a diner. Some corrupt guys in suits (and hiding in Baltimore City ambulance ... don't ask me why), misidentifying the target, inject some substance into Cage's body -- making him dizzy and half-unconscious. (Oh, and the film is set in Baltimore, and you see a diner with a big crab, but it was in fact shot in Bulgaria.)

Actions (all standard ones, like shoot-outs and explosions) are not bad, but all the scenes are shot at night, so you might dislike the continuing murky darkness. But the filmmakers seem to have spent most of the budget in showing the so-so actions, for the other parts seem badly neglected, when they should have been more careful about them. The strange, flashy cameraworks only reduce the tension, and in one scene, to express the nasty effects of the injected material, we are to share POV of the ex-agent Cage -- that means, we see the scenes quickly swtching between a hospital office and a military prison one after the other, That is surely unusual, trying to give us the sense of hullcination. But it's only irritating.

Director David Carson ('Star Trek: Generations' -- odd number entry!) throws in these gimmicks, but they cannot completely hide the familiar touch of the underdeveloped B film, or the sense of 'We have seen it before,' especially the last 20 minutes. The baddies played by Stuart Wilson and Kim Coates are just ordinary -- a bad guy in charge of the whole situation, and another bad guy who does dirty business. And as to Wesley Snipes, there is nothing that would remind us of the charisma of the vimpire slayer.

I still remember Wesley Snipes in Spike Lee films, and the entertaining 'Passanger 57' and 'Drop Zone.' And I didn't hate 'Demolition Man.' But watching him in 'Unstoppable' makes me think that he might (just, might for now, OK?) on the way to be the next Seagal. And once that happens, it's really unstoppable.

2 out of 5 stars Unstoppable.......2005-02-06

That Hollywood can afford to produce such rubbish and, talk quality Actors into submitting to the script, is amazing. Both Snipes and Jacquelyn Obradores are very talented actors wasted on this foolishness.

5 out of 5 stars It serves Vegeta right to get a serious smack down.......2005-11-05

Well in this that stupid bitch Vegeta is getting his ass whipped mercilessly by Cell.Serves the dumbass right, he had no right to allow Cell to absorb 18.Trunks even warned the pompous little man about Cell.Trunks goes ultra super saiyan to save Vegeta's pathetic ass from death but he is unaware that his mega buff new stage will slow him down.If you think that Vegeta is a serious ass who deserves to get the sh*t beat out of him or you just don't like him, then this is for you.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Cell Rocks.......2003-06-14

On this DVD feature, you have a whole lot of fihgting. It starts off with Vegeta getting his ass kicked like the dumbass that he is, as if. If he were to fight Cell while he was still in his second stage, none of this would have happened. While Vegeta was busy getting his retarded ass kicked, Trunks started to power up and save his father from death. In the middle, we learn a lot about Trunks and Cell and from the worlds that they've came from. After that, Trunks was starting to look good while he was fighting Cell, until he started to power up so much that it makes it hard for him to gain any sorts of speed as Cell said. then, Cell announced that he would revive the World Martial Arts tournament called the Cell Games. who has the [guts] to step up to the plate. Can Goku and Gohan, who just turned super saiyan, make a difference in Vegeta's mistake? Watch the beginning of the Cell Games Saga to find that one out!!!

5 out of 5 stars Don't mess with P-Cell!.......2003-01-30

This is an exciting DVD that contains the last 4 episodes in the Perfect Cell Saga. You should get this! Get this DVD if you are a fan of Trunks or Cell, because these episodes are centered around their great fight. This has Future Trunks' best fight in my opinion. You can watch all the episodes in Japanese w/ English subs if you want. Here are the episodes:

Trunks Ascends
Cell first uses his power, Vegeta getting a beating he deserves so Trunks has to step in against Cell, and hmmm...Goku lighting his hair on fire.

Saving Throw
Trunks has to save his Dad's life and try to defeat Cell at the same time by himself.

Ghosts From Tomorrow
Trunks doesn't want the future to be as bad as it is in his time, so he tells more about what the future was like before Trunks went back in the past, and we learn more about Cell's origin. After that, Trunks and Cell face off.

The Cell Games
Trunks is stronger than Vegeta, but There is one weakness that Trunks has and Cell exploits it. Cell gives Trunks a second chance and will start a tournament called the Cell Games.

5 out of 5 stars Very good DVD.......2003-01-28

HI. I live in england and the dragonball z here is different. i prefer the dbz in america but the dbz in england is more like the japenese version. So anyone that likes that japanese version i think you should check out the dragonball z in england.

This DVD has 4 uncut episodes with both the dubbed version and subbed version:

episode 147:TUNKS ASCENDS
Vegeta doubles as a punching bag as Cell demonstrates his amazing power. But the Saiyan Prince never surrenders! Tapping into the deepest wells of his energy, Vegeta leaves Cell with one last hit, the Final Flash! All the while, Trunks struggles to decide whether or not to help his father. Vegeta's pride is at stake, but so is his life!

episode 148:SAVING THROW
Vegeta lies unconscious after an intense battle with Cell, and Trunks unleashes his hidden powers to save his father's life. With Goku and Gohan still training and the other fighters clearly out-leagued, Trunks is the only person standing in the evil android's way. Just how far can the young Saiyan's power go?

episode 149:GHOSTS FROM TOMORROW
As apocalyptic visions haunt his mind, Trunks vows to stop his horrible future from repeating itself. But Cell remembers those dark days in a different light, and can't wait for history to follow its course. It's all up for grabs as the two warriors prepare for battle. Only one future will survive. Whose will it be?

episode 150:THE CELL GAMES
Trunks quickly realizes that his Super Saiyan powers are no match for the mighty Cell. Trunks accepts defeat, only to be given a second chance when Cell proposes a tournament! Is Cell really interested in competition, or does he have a more sinister plan in mind?

TNA WRESTLING:BEST OF SAMOA JOE-UNSTOPPABLE (DVD MOVIE)

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Mostly all great matches...........2006-12-28

-Samoa Joe is a great talent, not just for his appearance, but for his uniquie style and for the fact that he can move as fast as he can for his size, 6' 2" to 6'-3" and about 280 lbs.

-This DVD is a great showcase of Joe in 11 matches against opponents like Sonjay Dutt, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jushin "Thunder" Liger and more.

-Slammiversary '05-vs. Sonjay Dutt: Joe's debut and what a debut it was, he destroyed Dutt, despite Dutt getting in some quick offense. This showed some of Joes' best offensive manuvers, including his muscle buster and kokina clutch for the win in about 6 minutes. 8/10.

-Impact-June 24 '05-vs. Delirious: Weird opponent for Joe, but a fairly quick match. Delirous barely got any offense in at all. Not bad, but a basic squash that lasts just over 3 minutes. 6/10.

-No Surrender '05-vs. Chris Sabin: Great match, Sabin gets in some good moves (a great looking tornado DDT and a second rope running powerbomb among them) and even tries to beat Joe with the Cradle Shock. Joe's four move combo, (powerbomb, STF, crossface and double ring stretch) looked awesome. Sabin almost wins, but in the end Joe hits his Muscle Buster and Kokina Clutch for the win in about 14 minutes. 10/10.

-Sacrifice '05-Super X Cup Tournament Finals-vs. AJ Styles: Hard hitting battle, great back and forth action for a while, AJ even bodyslams Joe early on. Joe gets another combo going in this match, (powerbomb, boston crab and STF, all in fluid motion). Loved when Joe used Terry Funk's rolling tumbleweed, great classic move. AJ like Sabin almost wins, even uses a toture rack into a slam on Joes, but Joe wins, thanks to a run in by Christopher Daniels, with the Kokina Clutch in about 15 minutes. 10/10.

-Unbreakable '05-X Division Title 3-Way-vs. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels: The best match on the disc, maybe one of if not the best match I've seen in a long time. This is a great showcase of the three man with each getting in an equal amount of offense. Joe and AJ team up on Daniels in the beginning, with dueling kicks and chops, but things quickly break down. Tons of fantastic moves by all three men, but some of the best are a great shooting star press by AJ to the outside on both men, a twisting suicide dive by Joe on the other two and so much more. AJ wins, with a roll up on Daniels in about 23 minutes. Not enough can be said about this match, watch and enjoy. 12/10.

-Bound For Glory '05: vs. Jushin Thunder Liger: The entrances by both men were awesome, Joe did a native dance and Jushin was showered by steamers from the fans, much like in Japan. The match itself was not bad but not as great as it could've been. These two were great together in the ring, but the match seemed short. Some good dueling offense and some dueling (Liger.. Joe) chants from the fans. Liger even hits the Liger Bomb on Joe but Joe wins with the Muscle Buster and Kokina Clutch in about7 minutes. 7/10.

-Genesis '05-Elimination X: w/Daniels, Shelley and Roderick Strong vs. Matt Bentley, Austin Aries, Snojay Dutt and Chris Sabin: Good match done in elimination style (like Survivor Series in WWE) and it was more of a build-up to Joe turning on Daniels. But the offensive displays makes this match worth watching. In the end, Joe went to hit Sabin with the Muscle Buster but Bentley pulled Joe out of the ring and Daniels hit Sabin with the Angels Wings for the win in about 23 minutes. Aftermath saw Joe brutalize Daniels and then he hit a Muscle Buster on Daniels on a steel chair. 11/10.

-Impact-Dec. 8, 2005 vs. Amazing Red: A quick squash of the returning and high flying Amazing Red. However, Red does get some quick offense in when Alex Shelley on the outside accidentaly distracted Joe, while Shelley was filming the match. But Joe just as quickly nails a snap powerslam and then the musclebuster and kokina clutch for the win in about 2 minutes. 6/10.

-Turning Point '05-X Division Title Match: vs. AJ Styles: The second best match on the disc, AJ comes so close to beating Joe but Joe hits way to many kicks and chops and combo moves for AJ to stand. AJ does get in a lot of moves, but Joe overcame all of it and got AJ in the Kokina Clutch after reversing a roll-up, AJ passes out and Joe wins the X-Division Title in about 19 minutes. Aftermath saw Joe beat up AJ and went to hit a Muscle Buster on the chair, but Daniels came in to save AJ. 11/10.

-Impact-December 17, 2005: vs. Jay Lethal: Decent match, Lethal gets in a few moves, but Joe wins in the end, with the Muscle Buster and the Kokina Clutch in about 3 minutes. 7/10.

-Final Resolution '06-X Division Title Match: vs. Christopher Daniels: Good match, Joe beats down his opponent after some early offense from Daniels. He does come close to beating Joe, with some quick moves, but Joe continues his assault on Daniels concussed head, with a Muscle Buster and after that Daniels can really stand up. Joe hits another Muscle Buster on a steel chair, a massive kick to Daniels head another and knee drops to the head. AJ throws in the towel for Daniels, after about 15 minutes. Not a great finish, but a good match. 8/10.

-After every match there are comments from Samoa Joe including, why he chose TNA, his childhood, how he started in wrestling and his injuries among others.

-The extras include:

-A slideshow showing some of Joe's best moments.

-A music video: More highlights of Joe in TNA. Decent music.

-Bonus Interviews: Joe talks more about his childhood, playing sports, how he got into Judo and what he does during his free time, among other things.

-This is a great DVD, all the matches are worth watching especially the Unbreakable 3-way and the X-Division and the title matches vs. AJ. Well worth about $15-20.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best superstar dvd's by TNA.......2006-11-24

I like this one even better than the Sting DVD. The unbreakable match is just awesome. It is what make TNA Wrestling so fun to watch. Samoa Joe has never had a bad match yet. If you want to see his best match in my opinion. I would buy the Joe vs. Kobashi in NY DVD from the Ring of Honor promotion. It is the best Samoa Joe match. This disk is just good. His stories are pretty funny between the matches. Well worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars Samoa Joe has done it all, you damn right he did & he's comtinuing on doing so!.......2006-10-27

WWE, you better watch out because TNA has the perfect formula to put WWE out in every way like say for, killing all & every WWE wrestler out there against this TNA superstar. Yes thats right, I said WWE wrestlers, not superstars cause they have sucky ability's & TNA has a bunch of superstars that they can't even touch so with that said, Samoa Joe can take on the likes of Big Show, Triple H, HBK, & yes even the so called Samoan bulldozer loser, Umaga(who cheats a lot). I watched every DVD from WWE's then it was like boring, but then when I left WWE to join TNA & watched these DVD's like these then I was like, whoa! Like the cover title that says it all: The Best Of Samoa Joe: Unstoppable, which is true. He is unstoppable & he can crush everyone in his path including, the wrestling fraud, JBL who is easy to take out. This DVD will take you out the edge of your seat & definately can make you cry to your mommy like they made the WWE fraud wrestlers cry to their mommies. Speaking of which, even Samoa Joe can mess up the likes of Edge(who is a sloppy wrestler & is best known as Rated "retarded" superstar which is funny what I said & what I say is a good thing which is true, cause he is a retatd), John Cena(who thinks he's the biggest & baddest thug of all time), & Lita(that annoying b**** who can't fight & wrestle). Welp, that sums up everything & I mean, EVERYHTING that this DVD has to offer with the exception for not the WWE to get into Joe's face or else, he'll kill them one by one or should I say, by all means!!!

P.S. WWE, good luck with your making for your funeral grave out there, y'all are gonna need it.

5 out of 5 stars Samoa Joe is gonna kill WWE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-09-26

Damn straight he is not just in TNA but a battle of the company that is. You WWE jokers out there who think Triple H, Cena, Booker T, Edge, Batista, HBK, & other wrestlers out there are that impressive? Well I think not buddy, not when Samoa Joe destroys each & every one of them clowns out there. Thats why this DVD has prove of why Samoa Joe is forced to be recconned with in TNA. So to all you WWE lovers out there, kiss your favorite company goodbye because like I said, Samoa Joe is gonna kill WWE, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Samoa Joe has WWE's Number!.......2006-08-18

Thats right, what I said here is the truth. This DVD not only show the immortality of Samoa Joe, but its finest hour to make WWE s*** there pants. Joe will put every crappy WWE wrestler to sleep, yes even the likes of Big Show to add! I can't even imagine what will happen when WWE & TNA collide head to head. That'll teach WWE that they can't mess with TNA, the dominate wrestling brand of sports entertainment!

            Description

The creation of a light-weight, four wheel drive vehicle was a simple idea that became a reality just in time to help America win a World War. Although the Jeep has needed every ounce of its resiliency to survive the many corporate shuffles and economic downturns it encountered, the basic principles of the Jeep haven't changed in over 60 years.Today, although it has an army of imitators, this rugged vehicle remains the yardstick by which all four wheel drive vehicles are measured. This is the story of how the Jeep came to be, how over the years it has helped to win wars throughout the world, and how it is now at the center of today's sport-ute marketplace. This exciting story is presented by the multi-award winning television production team at WheelsTV, a bunch of car guys and gals who are truly Wild About Wheels.
