EVEREST.......2007-05-01
By Lorenzo Contreras, age 13, White Plains, New York
Have you ever wanted something so bad you would do anything to get it? This is the case with the realistic fiction book EVEREST, book three the summit. The author Gordon Korman makes you feel like you're on the mountain with the climbers.
This book is part of a three part trilogy; it is a story of Dominic Alexis and four other young climbers who are trying to be the youngest person ever to summit Everest. He is going on the trip with a team of other kids who won a contest to get a spot on the team now that the summit athletic team is on Everest as they start to climb for the second time as the first attempt failed. Many obstacles occur and one of the other climbers is trying to sabotage Dominic and when the the news about the storm comes even more problems arise. My opinion of this book is that it is great for all ages because it keeps you asking questions and on the edge of your seat. It made wonder if they would ever make it to the summit in time before the climbing season ends.
This book reminds me of two others I have read one is called Everest Book One The Contest. And Everest Book Two The Climb these are the other two books in the trilogy. The theme of this book is being that being over competitive can be dangerous. You will learn how this theme makes sense if you read this book.
I highly recommend this book because it is very interesting and is filled with action and will keep you guessing. The target audience is ages 9-13.
Everest Book Three: The Summit .......2007-04-26
Everest. The climber's ultimate dream. Four teens are about to climb it to become the youngest person ever to summit the highest point in the world. The climbers names are Sammi, the only girl, age 15, Perry, age 15, Tilt, age 14, and Dominic, the youngest, age 13. If Dominic is to summit he would crush the record by almost 3 years. Unfortunately, there midnight summit try is ended early because of a rescue mission. The kids have to go back to base camp where the Nepal government comes and says it is "too dangerous" for Dominic to climb, so he will not be able to climb with the team. However, the story takes an unexpected turn when Dominic climbs with Ethan Zaph, the current record holder. If you want to find out what happens next, read Everest Book Three: The Summit.
In Everest Gordon Korman pulled me from my beanbag to the Lhoste Face where I was climbing with Sammi, Perry, Tilt, and Dominic. I thought Everest was an amazing book. Unfortunately, one of the climbers is sabotaging the others. The book ends with a happy and sad ending. There is a record broken but also it ends with a funeral. If you want to see what happens to Ethan and Dominic, or see who breaks the record, read Everest Book Three: The Summit.
Everest Book Three- The Summit .......2007-04-25
Are you looking for an outstanding adventure book? Look no farther than Everest, Book Three, The Summit by Gordon Korman. Four kids, Dominic, Tilt, Perry, Sammi, and veteran climber Cap Cicero, take their chances to climb Everest. Two of them, Tilt and Dominic, are eligible to beat out Ethan Zaph and become the youngest to reach the summit. One of them will do anything to beat out the other, even if it means death. This book is realistic fiction; the realistic part coming from the places they pass, (i.e. Southern Col, The Balcony) which are real places there. The book shows determination of young teens who try to climb Everest. You may want to read the first two books, but when I did, I easily caught on. If you are a young teen or not and want to read about determination of kids to climb Everest, check out this book.
Everest, The Summit is one of the best books I have ever read. Dominic is my favorite character since he has such determination to climb. My favorite part of the story is when, well, maybe I shouldn't give it away. The last thing I'll add is the book ends with a funeral. I'm not telling you who. You have to read to find out!
Everest Book Three.......2007-01-09
It was thrilling and kept our son interested to the end. The book is just the right length to keep one reading but not too long to overwhelm a young reader.
Excellent action book.......2006-11-11
This is truly one of my favorite books I have ever read. It is packed with action, has a very rich plot, and is very well written. The trilogy is approx. 440 pages, and can easily be read in less than 1 week. It has a lot of detail that, while it is very exciting to read, is easy to forget, which allows for it to be read over and over again without getting old. I am now reading it for the 4th time, and I am enjoying it as much as I read it the first time. I also love the trilogy setup, even though it means the books (especially 3) do not mean anything without reading the others.
If you are looking for a perfect mix of action and drama, this is the book you have been seeking. It also does an excellent job of bringing new life to the classic adventure theme of 4 children facing challenges against time and the elements. If you liked Korman's trilogy Island, then you will definetly enjoy this book. It is very involving, very vivid, and reading it will make you feel like you are on the mountain, climbing with the characters. You will grow to love them and feel like you are a part of the "family".
In terms of the mountain in reality, the book is extremely accurate, and I have learned quite a bit from it. If there is a downside to the book, it is the fact that it is addictive. Once you read it, you will not be able to stop; once you finish the book, you will be obsessed with Mount Everest. If you are already educated in Everest, then you will all the more enjoy the book because of its bullseye accuracy and vivid descriptions. It also leaves plenty of room to let your imagination run wild.
Here is a brief description of each of the 3 books in the trilogy:
The 1st book is themed around 20 kids at a boot camp in Colorado, training for a month to climb Everest. As the story goes on, the training becomes more harsh and intense, and as people are eliminated to form the final team of 4, freindships become increasingly strong. It also has a very exciting life-or-death climax at the end as the team goes through their final simulation of what they will be doing on Everest.
The 2nd book takes place on the mountain, as the kids are introduced to the world's tallest mountain. It is packed with drama and action together, as almost everything in relation to the climb is an uncertainty. Even more loveable (and loatheable) characters are introduced, and everyone's personality and goal on the mountain comes out even more as the freinds become a family. I love how the book introduces the 4 camps, at which they stay, one by one and how it shows the chances of successfully summiting the mountain going down as the summer monsoons approach. This book, like the 1st, also has an exciting life-or-death climax at the end, only it is much bigger and much more amazing.
The 3rd book is really 1 big scene, taking place in Everest's harsh early-summer weather. It is a breath-holding race against time as they try to get themselves up to the summit before the final blizzard arrives. Challenges they face include temperatures so low that they can freeze an eyeball solid, 200mph winds that can rip a climber off of a mountain like a napkin, and a 30% oxygen level that starves the brain and causes bad thinking. In the end, though, they do have to pay a huge price. The climb ends with a bitter moment that is in one way completely unexpected and in another way a necessary fate. The story has an excellent ending, though, and the story is polished off very nicely.
I would strongly recommend this book to any young reader, especially one who is interested in adventure/survival. It just might be the start of something new...

Island Books Enjoyed.......2007-05-13
I purchased these books for my 10 year old who had them in her classroom. This is her review. She highly recommends them for her age group. They are exciting, suspenseful, and really enjoyable. She really couldn't put them down until she had finished all 3 of the series! All of the kids in her class are reading the books. She would recommend them to anyone who likes to read adventure.
Darien's Review.......2007-05-07
Island by Gordon Korman is a suspense thriller, about six kids who have gone on a boat trip to learn the importance of teamwork, over the summer. During their trip, a terrible storm hits and their boat is destroyed and they are thrown into the sea. It focuses on Luke, a twelve-year-old boy who has trouble working with others. On the boat he meets J.J., a brat son of a millionaire, Ian, a T.V. nerd, Charla, Ian's perfectionist sister, Will, a nice boy he befriends, and Lyssa. This series tells the tale of how Luke has to befriend the others and survive after his ship is wrecked.
The book is fun, joyful, and sad at times. It's an example of how people band together to save themselves and overcome anything. This book is definitely worth reading, with its descriptive scenes and characters. This is only the first of the three part series. Anyone who loves adventure will love this book.
ISLAND.......2007-02-26
Through an alternative rehabilitation program for troubled teens, called Charting a New Course, Luke, J.J., Will, Lyssa, Charla, and Ian, have all been sentenced for various reasons to one month aboard the sailboat, The Phoenix.
This is an adventurous, fast and easy book for pre-teens about empathy, friendship, family, and survival.
I read the first book with a ten year old and we both loved it. We are now onto the second and it's easy to predict that we'll end up reading the other Gordon Korman series as well.
Gordon Korman Island Series.......2007-02-20
My 10 year old son loves these books. He has read all of the series and wanting more. I don't think Mr. Korman can write fast enough to keep up with my son. I would recommend these to a boy or girl.
Survival in a desert island.......2006-11-15
Six kids who are total strangers were sent on the ship the Phoenix becaouse, they could not get along at their homes. After three short days of boating lessons they sailed out into the ocean. A tropical storm hear the equator hits the Phoenix with 30 foot waves. The captain is thrown off the ship. All the boys looked for captain, but there were no captain.
On a desert island Luke, J.J, Will, Lyssa, Charla, and Lan are forced to help each other. They didn't want to be stuck at sea with a bunch of strangers but There are a lot of interesting things happening on the island. Also there a many difficult things at the islamd. There no enough food and water. It's all about survival.

There’s just one hitch: Meg is trying to escape from them on her own, and is never where she’s supposed to be. My son has read all of the Kidnapped series, he can not put them down.
Perfect for 5th graders!!!
Courtesy of Teens Read Too.......2006-12-18
In the last book of the KIDNAPPED series, many things happen to the Falconer family. Meg has escaped and is trying to survive in the mountainous wilderness when a blizzard hits.
Aiden is with Agent Harris looking for Meg while Louise and John Falconer are living with Agent Mike Sorenson--a man who hasn't broken a rule or taken a chance in his whole FBI career. More and more answers are being found...but more and more questions are being asked.
Now everyone is in a remote area, frantically searching for answers, and trying to find Meg. Find out in THE RESCUE what happens--is Meg saved by the FBI and reunited with her family, or are the Falconers left with grief over the loss of never getting their daughter back?
I give this whole series a big two thumbs up! The roller coaster keeps you going until the very end. I've already told all of my friends that they have to get Abduction (Kidnapped), Kidnapped Book: The Search (Kidnapped), and THE RESCUE. I think you should definitely read this series if you like very thrilling books. It feels like you are actually there living it!

Fugitive Factor.......2007-05-08
Great but before I say anything, NOTE this is a six part writing, the reader must read them in order to make sense.
PCE student review.......2007-04-27
This book is about fugitives running away from cops because their parents were accusing of committing a crime, but they really didn't. So, they have to prove that their parents are innocent. They look for clues, and the clues keep taking them places far away. The cops always get so close to Aiden and Meg, but they always get away, except at the end of the story. You will have to read the book to get the ending.
I loved this book because you never know what is going to happen next. It is full of adventure and surprises. I give this book two thumbs up. This book is part of an exciting series, and I can't wait to read the next one.

In the sequel to Abduction (Kidnapped), the Falconers and the FBI are still frantically searching for Meg. It has been a little over a week since she was kidnapped and Aiden is getting restless. He hasn't slept, he's barely eaten, and a new agent has just been assigned to the case.
After the FBI got very close to getting Meg back, the kidnappers decide to move her to a new location. The new location is nearly impossible to find. But Meg doesn't give up hope. She is still planning to escape.
When a mysterious incident happens, Aiden is sure that it's a sign that Meg was sending him. But Agent Sorenson thinks otherwise. So Aiden decides to take matters into his own hands and go search for Meg on his own. This results in many run-ins with the law. Find out exactly what kind by reading this excellent book.
THE SEARCH, like the first book in the KIDNAPPED series, was an incredible thriller! Gordon Korman really knows how to write a story that will keep you guessing every time. I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures. I think this book deserves five stars because it is action-packed and full of realistic details. It's almost like you are there!

Chasing The Falconers.......2007-05-08
Great but before I say anything, NOTE this is a six part writing, the reader must read them in order to make sense. I obtained this book at the local library and even they did not know there were (6) more sequences to follow. Great Series
on the run chasing the falconers........2007-04-17
I enjoyed this book because it had a lot of detail and interesting and funny parts to it. this book was one of my all time favorites it made me realize how much I have and how little the kids in this story have. Because I feel really bad for aiden and meg because there on the run risking there lives and trying to get to there uncle to see if he can help them get there parents out of jail. Their parents are in jail for something they didn't even do and I think that's a little unfair. And I would totally recommend this book because it is breath taking and will keep you on your toes at all times and make u want to read it.
PCE student review.......2007-04-16
Chasing the Falconers is a well-written story about two children whose parents went to jail for something they didn't do. This book, by Gordon Korman, is a wonderful book. My favorite scene is when Aiden and Meg steal the ATV. That scene is wonderful, but you'll have to find out why. My favorite character is Miguel Reyes because he's tough, and not scared of anything. The theme of the book is two kids (Aiden and Meg) are trying to prove their parents innocence. You'll like this book if you like adventures and probably if you're a kid who likes to read Realistic Fiction. Another scene I like is the end, but you'll have to read it yourself to see what happens. It would make a great movie because it would inspire people to reach for their goals, and to do what they have to do to get there. People will be inspired by this book after they read it and that's a guarantee. I love this book because it's a well-written story about two kids who go on an adventure, and there are obstacles at every turn. So if you buy this book you won't regret it. I hope you enjoy the book!

Book Project.......2007-02-24
What would you do if you were in a Juvinille Detention center because your parents were framed as murderers. This is the life of Aiden and Meg Falconer, untill one day. Aiden was tired of doing all the work, so he set a fire in the barn. Soon the barn was down in ashes. The fire was so intense, you could feel the heat...or was that just the steam from my dinner. Next, the Falconers escaped and decided that there parents only hope was them. Their move was to go to Vermont and prove their parents innocent. On the way, they see that there is a house. They find a Tahoe and a freind from the detention center. He says he will drive. When they stop for gas, they don't have any money, so they steal it. When they are done filling up the car, the police were called.
You will need to read to figure out if they make it, or not.

Book Description
Four kids are on a marine expedition for the summer, diving to explore an underwater habitat that's just been altered by a seismic event. What they find, though, is much more than fish - it's sunken treasure. Can they salvage it without anyone else getting to it first? Will the prospect of wealth set them against one another? And what about those sharks . . . .DIVE is another action-packed trilogy from Gordon Korman. The narrative will shift between an account of two kids caught in the shipwreck and the story of the four kids fighting over and desperately trying to get the treasure.

DIVE
by,Gordon Korman
My book is Dive. The book is about four teenagers that are chosen by a professor to dive and explore the sea. They aren't sure why they are there, but they know that they're looking for something big. The other divers are covering up something, and they don't want Star, Dante, Adriana, and Kaz to know.
I think this book makes people think about what could happen next. That is one of the reasons why I like it. Another reason is that you don't know what they're hiding until a little more than half of the story, and you want to find out so bad so you're on you're toes! The setting of the story is out on an island in the Atlantic Ocean.
( I didn't tell people what they're hiding, because they mignt want to read it, and find out for them selves.)
Dive: The Discovery : Book One.......2006-12-01
Dive: The discovery is pretty much a adventure/mystery that takes place in the middle of the Carribean. It's about four kids who are set-up for a diving internship at an oceanography company called Poisedon. They're with the Ponce de Leon and it's crew, but they find out that they're four litte pawns in a treasure hunt. The crew of the Ponce de Leon has the kids mark random caves while they take metal scans for the missing gold. They obviously don't solve the problem in the first book,so they leave off with a cliffhanger. They also have a side story about an abandoned orphan who's at the mercy of Captain James Blade. They're on a ship called the Griffon, with more than 100 crew members. James Blade states that it's "perfectly legal" and "goverment certified," to steal treasure from Spain's ships and plunder their gold. The boat later wrecks, and all their gold sinks to the depths of the Carribean, and now the Ponce de Leon crew is after it.
Dive.......2006-02-24
I think that Dive is an exciting book that has many adventures. There are four divers that have been chosen to explore the sea. While they are there they run into a couple problems. The killer sharks and someone is covering up something big that they dont want people to know about.
opinion.......2006-02-11
I thought that it was an excelent book. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time.

Book Description
Nobody understands Wallace Wallace. This reluctant school football hero has been suspended from the team for writing an unfavorable book report of Old Shep, My Pal. But Wallace won't tell a lie-he hated every minute of the book! Why does the dog in every classic novel have to croak at the end? After refusing to do a rewrite, his English teacher, who happens to be directing the school play Old Shep, My Pal, forces him go to the rehearsals as punishment. Although Wallace doesn't change his mind, he does end up changing the play into a rock-and-roll rendition, complete with Rollerblades and a moped!

No More Dead Dogs.......2007-06-05
I like this book because it is really funny. I also like how the people take turns talking. I would really recommend this book for people that really like humorous books! I loved the part (that was probably the main part) when he said that he hates when you pick up a book with a dog on the cover and you immedietly think 'oh the dog is going to die, I know it!' I loved this book!
Thank you!
No More Dead Dogs.......2007-05-23
This book is about Wallace Wallace, who is the football teams' best player since he scored the winning touchdown in the last game of the season before. Wallace is one of the fans' favorite, until he can't be on the team anymore because of mean Mr. Fogelman.
Mr. Fogelman made his language arts class write a report on the book Old Shep My Pal, and Wallace strongly disliked the book. Wallace was raised to never tell a lie so his book report told nothing but the truth. He said that in his opinion the book was bad and that he didn't recommend it. Mr. Fogelman gave him another chance to write a good book report, but since Wallace can't tell a lie, all the reports turned out the same way.
Mean Mr. Fogelman decides until Wallace chooses to write a gook report, he will have to join him in detention and sit through the rehearsals of the play, Old Shep My Pal.
Until Wallace decides to write a good paper he will be stuck there with no football practice or games. No need to worry though, Wallace kept himself occupied by changing around the whole play to just how he liked it.
I really liked this book, it was funny and it had a good story going on with it. It was a little confusing though, because it was make out of a couple of peoples' views on the whole story. Out of five stars I would give this book a four, because it being good, but also being confusing.
To see how you would like it this book and find out what happens, go ahead and read it!
An Enjoyable, Funny Story.......2007-03-14
A Fiasco Over a Book
The book that I read was No More Dead Dogs by Gordan Korman. This book mostly takes place at Bedford Middle School.
Wallace Wallace-BANNED from the football team!
Wallace Wallace is the star of the football team-only because he recovered the football for a touchdown to win the county championship. Other than the occasional game, Wallace was benched for the season. Away from the football field, and back in class, Wallace Wallace was reading the book, Old Shep, My Pal. Later, after finishing the book, Wallace Wallace gave his opinion on the book as an assignment. He said that it was a horrible book because dogs shouldn't keep dying in books. (Wallace is an honest person and cannot tell a lie.) Mr. Fogelman, his English teacher, thought that the book was wonderful and put the football star through rehearsals of the play, Old Shep, My Pal, until Wallace could write a good review. While sitting, watching, and listening at rehearsals, Wallace started to pay attention to the dialogue and thought that it was, "old school." He decided to say something to the drama club and Mr. Fogelman about it. He told them that it was too "old school" and that they should change it to the way people of the present spoke. The drama club agreed to make the changes, but Mr. Fogelman didn't want to. Wallace Wallace also suggested that the play be made more exciting. So, the play was modified once again. After these events, Mr. Fogelman started sitting and watching in the back round while Wallace took over the play. Will Wallace's changes to the play cause it to become chaos or will Mr. Fogelman take the play back? Read the book to find out!
Say What?
I really liked this book and enjoyed reading it because of the way the author topped everything off with the attacks being made on the play; you'll be surprised at who the attacker is! One thing that I didn't like about this book was that at times, the events didn't make sense. For example, why did Mr. Fogelman force Wallace through rehearsals in the first place?
This is what I want to do!
One part in this book really made me happy for Wallace and that is when he follows what he wants to do, not what he's being pressured to do. Wallace went to the pep rally after being released from "detention" and announced that instead of going back to play on the football team, he was going to go back to helping the play. That part really showed that you should follow your heart and what you want to do.
Should you read this book?
I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone that likes books that give you different points of view and are exciting.
A three people mix-up talking about dead dogs........2007-02-17
Wallace is football star and Rachel is a school actress and the teacher is mean. Wallace is in trouble right now for not turning in the book report about his book that he did not like. So right now he is in detention until he gets it finished. Rachel is doing a play about this book and Wallace is in there so he can get ideas for report. Rachel can't concentrate on her play because she is to busy looking at Wallace. The teacher is getting all kinds of problems for not letting Wallace play. That's what this book is about.
This book bored me to death. The book switched between three people it got me really confused. The only thing I liked was when Wallace chased his X-best friend. All it talked about was dead dog books. That's why I did not like this book.
Predictable Ending.......2007-02-12
Wallace Wallace is an eighth grade student and football player. He has made a pledge to himself to always tell the absolute truth, under any circumstances. So when he has to write a book review for a book called "Old Shep, My Pal," Wallace is absoultely honest in saying how much he thinks the book stunk.
Unfortunately, Wallace's English teacher does not agree that the book stunk, and he states that Wallace's review did not fulfill the assignment. Wallace is sentenced to detention until he is able to write a better review of the book.
Wallace's detention takes place mostly in the auditorium, where his English teacher is the director for a student production of "Old Shep, My Pal" in play version. Soon after he starts serving this detention, Wallace begins voicing his opinion to the cast of the play. He makes suggestions for how to improve the script. Much to the amazement of his English teacher and some of the members of the cast, these suggestions are actually good.
Will Wallace ever be able to write a good review of the book? Will he decide to stick with the play instead of going back to football?
There were some really good characters, especially the members of the football team. I liked how parts of this book are told by Rachel Turner in the form of letters, and I also liked being able to see what the English teacher was thinking about the play and about Wallace.
The plot of this book was a bit predictable, though; it was too easy to see where it was going.

These are very good books.........2007-04-25
I started reading these books about 5 months ago. I got the very first book(chasing the Falconers) at a book sale at my school. I though this book would be plain just like any other book, but when I finished the first book I was already reading the second. On the Run is the best series of books I have ever read. I love these books because they are just right for my age and they are so interesting and fun to read! They are also loaded with action! Gordon Korman is a very good Author and I love to read his books. I have just finished the second book and im going to order the third(now you see them now u dont) and the fourth(the stowaway solution). I cant wait to read them and im so excited! I cant wait for u to come out with your sixth book!!
On The Run: Now You See Them, Now You Don't.......2007-02-17
Aiden and Meg Falconer are trying to prove their parents' innocence. Unfortunately, they have the world against them. They have nick-named one man "Hairless Joe." He is out to kill Aiden and Meg Falconer, and they have no clue why. They narrowly escape his attacks but the police capture Meg. Luckily, Aiden comes up with a plan and rescues Meg. As they are running, they meet up with some new friends who help them hide.
I love this book! Once you start reading you can't stop. The main characters act off each other, which makes the story more interesting. My favorite part of the story was when the FBI caught Meg Falconer. The day after Meg's capture, Aiden sneaks into the place where Meg is being held. He dresses up as a police officer and walks Meg out of the building where they keep running. I highly recommend this book. It's one of the best books I have ever read!
From parent whose child never liked to read! EXCELLENT AUTHOR!.......2006-11-27
I actually wrote to this author which basically states my review. The author wrote back immediately, I will include his reply as well. Generally speaking, if your child does not like to read it's because of his confidence or ability to read and comprehend. I have never found an author who can boost the interest for my child to read with an action packed, mysterious, funny, suspenseful, and on the edge adventures, combined into one storyline. My son truley cannot put the books down till he is finished and then begs me to go get the next. I don't have to tell him to read, I actually have to ask him to stop so he can do ther things he has to do. Here are the emails - this author should be PUBLICIZED better - he does not get the recoginizition he deserves.
Hi Mr. Korman,
My son is in 6th grade and has never liked reading. I've bought him every type of book from EVERY author possible,(including joke books etc...) to motivate him for many years and have had no luck. As you know, reading is the most important part of education, therefore he has been struggling in many areas for years. Then I found your books this year and was very impressed myself. I started my son with the "On The Run" series this year and he loves them! Best of all, his skills and grades have increased dramatically!! He has to write a written report on each book he completes in the series. There is one question the teacher expects my son to answer, which is, "what message does the author send? and what have you learned?" My son's answer is "to speak up from the beginning", which I think is to vague and not even really a correct answer. I'm stumped every time we get to this question, especially considering I am an adult, my answer would lead to government corruption/failure to provide due process, etc... basically, not appropriate comments from a child.
I know you are very busy but if you could please email me the message you feel you give.. I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know if anyone has ever thanked you for being an author, but I cannot thank you enough for the positive impact you've had on my son's education, and FINALLY, his love for reading!!!
REPLY from author:
Hi, Jessica. I'm glad your son has taken off as a reader with ON THE RUN. Does he know KIDNAPPED? That's my latest series about Aiden and Meg Falconer.Message is kind of a tough thing to come up with. Generally speaking, it's not a priority for me. I prefer to focus on story and character. But if there's a message to my books about the Falconers, it would have to be something like "never give up when you know you're right." Thanks for getting in touch with me. I'm thrilled your son is a fan.
All the best,
Gordon Korman
Now You See Them, Now YOu Don't.......2006-03-08
Though the book was alittle to short, it was still packed with plenty of excitment and laughter.
Best series of Young Adult Fiction!.......2006-02-11
I've read all six and I love them. They are the "edge of your seat" kind of stories. The six books are one long story, though. You can't really read them out of order. It's worth reading all six.

Dive Book 2 The Deep.......2007-02-26
I read Dive Book 2 The Deep by Gordon Korman. I think the most annoying this is when you're going on to the next book in a series and the author explains all the events that happened. Gordon Korman doesn't do that. He sort of starts a new chapter as if it was from book 1. This story takes places in Poseidon Saint Luc, a tiny city in the Caribbean. Kaz, Dante, Adriana, and Star found strange artifacts in their diving site. They figure out that the artifacts came from a Spanish Galleon, Nuestra Senora de las luz.
The four divers are going to stay in the Poseidon underwater self-contained habitat or PUSH. PUSH is located 65 feet beneath the surface. The four divers go on dives to look for nothing but artifacts. They find a dagger, silverware, and plates, and a bell. Adriana spends an hour scrubbing the coral off the bell to see if there's any writing. She figures out that the bell is from Toledo, a Spanish city where there is most metalwork. It doesn't seem like that much but it's worth 1.2 billion dollars.
Before the end of their stay, Dante finds a trench. He knew that artifacts would go down there. The four divers and a specialist will go on a deep water scout which looks like a giant bubble. At 700 feet down, they see danger.
I would recommend this book to people who like suspenseful mysteries. I couldn't really connect to this because this is a rare moment.

Dive #2.......2006-02-25
This first book was very exciting and had you at the edge at all times. This book a bit boring, and I could tell it was just filler for the end of book three. Because of that it was a disapointment to me.
Dive Book 2.......2006-01-10
In Dive Book 2 Kaz Adriana Star and Dante` are looking for a treasure. While Star is swimming thier boat gets secretly blown up.what is Star going to do.
For my opiion for this book I would say this is AWSOME.Its awsome because the charactors are so lively. Its like they are talking to you.You will love this book.
I would rate this book a five out five because of the swimming, adventure andaction. If you don't like swimming trust me you won't like it.Even if youdon't like swimming try and read it.Then try reading the whole series.
The Depts of the Sea.......2005-05-25
This book is about a group of 4 divers (3 amuture divers, 1 handicaped diver) who are looking for a sunking Spanish vessel that has a huge treasure aboard it. But they have to find it behind everyone's back and before a treasure hunter finds it first.
If you like the sea, diving, and suspence, then read this book.
The Story.......2004-03-17
Dive,The Deep is about 4 divers at a dive intern for the summer and find out about a sunkin ships treasure and are searching for it at night so no one will know. Mean while the so called "teacher" is digging for some gold himself...
